What is a secret way for you to email college coaches before you're in 8th grade and to make them respond to you? Well, first of all, Division III coaches are allowed to respond to you any way they like. Now, given the fact that you're in elementary or middle school, they of course may not respond to you about college soccer. But if you look up a college coach, 95% of the time they are coaching at some sort of club team. Then if you go look up the club team that they are coaching for and you email their club email about club soccer, then you're technically not breaking any rules and they talk to you as much as they want because it's not about college soccer, it's about club soccer. And at your age, club soccer is really, really important if you want to play college. And now all of a sudden you're talking to a college coach and you're talking to them about their club team. So you get a two-for-one. And to do this, all you had to do was look up the coach on the college website and see what club team they're coaching at, because they coach at club teams often. Or if you're on a club website and you see some really good coaches, look them up on LinkedIn and you'll probably see that they're coaching at some college team, or used to play college, or want to play college, or want to play I want to coach rather in college one day. Now you're talking to them in 6th, 7th, 8th grade, and that is how you can eventually get to Easton on MLS Next because they are the ones with the connections and they're the ones that can reach really highly, and they can even connect you to the national team at some point if you're really good, of course.
