A recruiter named Rod is in the parking lot. Introduce yourself, mention your prior email, and don't give up if he's busy. Left back is a hot position in soccer recruiting. Your 3.5 GPA makes Claremont McKenna a reach, so test his interest first.
Uh, like 6. 6 out of 10. Okay, that's really good. Have you spoken to him since you've been here today? Uh, no, not yet. Okay, definitely go find him. Rod was saying be careful when you go to the parking lot. So like, you're gonna run at some point and there's gonna be a break, right, from this to the next thing. Go say hi to him. If he's busy, then too bad and try again later. But definitely say, my name is so-and-so, we exchanged emails. He may not remember you, that's possible. He— and you just want to say, we exchanged emails. And like I said, if you say you play left back, yes. Left back and right backs are the most sought-after positions in the recruiting process. I'm not saying you should switch, but that's the facts. And you're playing on this next, and your grades— what's your GPA? 3.5 is hard for Claremont McKenna unless he said something different to you, um, like I still like you, then go for it. But Claremont McKenna is a hard school to get into. Okay.
