A soccer player abroad can stand out at a U.S. ID camp by sending full-game video clips to coaches beforehand. Goals help but matter less than technique and focus. Ball-time is limited for overseas players, so preparation before you arrive is what counts.

What are 3 ways you can stand out at an ID camp during the 11v11? So this guy had some pretty good feet. He's actually playing abroad at a different company called ETER, and one of the problems is he's had to come all the way to the United States to go to an ID camp to be seen because he's playing abroad. So he's not going to get that many opportunities to have the ball during this tournament. So what he needs to do, and he's done a pretty good job of it, is his technique is really good. I think he can play college soccer for sure, and so if anyone's watching him, I think he's good enough. However, He must have sent emails many prior to it with actual full game videos. The problem with full game videos from abroad is coaches like, I don't know if the level's really good. That particular program does have a reputation for helping kids go to high-level schools, but if he's coming all the way to here, you need to have sent them videos over and over and over again. Because if you're really, really the best and so amazing, then yes, you may get seen. But if you're really good but maybe not the best of the best, you then have to go to these camps, and these camps are really important. This guy just scored a goal at the ID camp. Does that make a difference? For sure it makes a difference. Is it the end-all be-all if you don't score? Absolutely not. What matters is what you do before the camp, so at the camp you can just focus on playing soccer. If you want more help, comment camp and we can send you a list of camps you should go to.
