If I can go back in time and do 3 things different in my son's recruiting process, here's what it would be. Number 1, I would have started shooting good video earlier. Start banking that. You never know. Later on, I spent more time doing that and ended up with some great shots. And again, that highlight video is just going to be critical. Number 2, researching more about schools, learning more about colleges that I'm not familiar with. Ended up working out great. Zev ended up going to the Midwest. Number 3, Kind of a funny one. I'd be a little more cynical. I thought that, wow, college coaches, this is the college world, everybody's a good guy, people are going to be honest and truthful with you. realize you had to be really kind of wary. You had to take everything with a grain of salt. Which coaches, what they told you, the level of interest. They're playing two sides of the coin. They're playing you and they're playing other players. Comment change to see where you should be and what you should look out for in the recruiting process. This is my dad. He's the one who helped me through the recruiting process and those regrets he had are exactly how I want to teach you what to do.
