A 7th-grader aiming for Division-1 soccer should be in ECNL Regional League or Girls Lead Academy for girls, or E-64/EDP with MLS Next affiliation for boys. Start club recruitment at 10-12, have video by 14, attend camps at 15, and expect college interest by 16. Comment your state plus "club" for a list of clubs in your area.

What club level should you be at if you are a 7th grader and you want to play college soccer, especially at the D1 level? Starting with the girls, if you're playing NPL or E64 or DPL, that would be a great place to start as a 7th grader. But you want to be working towards ECNL RL and ECNL and Girls Lead Academy. Girls Aspire would be okay at this age, but by 9th, 10th grade, you must be in the ECNL RL or GA to play play Division 1 college soccer. On the boys' side now, if in 7th grade you're playing E-64 or EDP, that means you're playing club soccer. So that would be like great, and you understand that there's different clubs, and your parents probably know about driving and paying for club, etc. If you're still playing AYSO or something, then you're pretty much screwed. Having said that, you want to be in an NAL, MLS Next 2 affiliation because those teams are directly affiliated with the MLS teams. Similar, if you're in an Eastern RRL team, that's okay because you're directly affiliated with of one day a team that will theoretically have an ECNL team. But when people ask me when should you start the recruiting process, I mean, you're really starting the process in, you know, 10, 11, 12 years old, because by 13 you need to be playing for a good club team. By 14 you need to have video. By 15 you need to be going to camps. And 16 you need to be getting interest and talking to schools. So you really started earlier. Maybe you didn't talk to coaches in 6th grade, but we start emailing coaches in 7th, 8th grade, especially for the girls, if they want to play college soccer. If you want more help, I want you to comment the letter of the initials of your state and then the word club, and I'll send you a list of every single club team in your state. For example, CA club, and I'll send you that list. If you want more help, give me a call. Links in the bio. Talk to you soon. Goodbye.
