In this short instructional video, the speaker addresses college soccer center midfielders, highlighting the most common error they make when attempting a "ping" pass to a teammate. Instead of delivering the ball directly to the receiver’s current position, the coach advises feeding the ball slightly ahead of the receiver’s right foot, allowing the midfielder to continue his forward momentum and evade defenders who are already closing in. By timing the pass to lead the player forward, the team can break the defensive line and create scoring opportunities. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action for viewers to comment "CM" if they want to learn more about playing center midfield in college soccer.
