Zev doesn't do direct Zoom calls with students in his College Soccer Guide program. Instead, you message him in the app but get day-to-day support from a trained coach. Zev handles videos, video editing, camp research, and NCAA rule changes while coaches manage routine questions, which is how the program has placed students at dream schools and landed major scholarships.
How often do I get to speak to Zev, AKA me, during this process? Obviously, you've watched my videos, so some part of you is like, I want to talk to that guy. Now, I want to be very clear. My time is spent making those videos and helping out my current students. So the answer is you will not speak to me directly over Zoom. You will have the opportunity to message me during inside the app when you join us, and you can directly message College Talker Guy Zev. But what we find is you will get slower responses versus if you message your coach, who I meet with every 2 or 3 days and has been trained by me regarding your situation. So you'll get better and faster response if you work with your coach. Now, once upon a time, I did this by myself, of course. And what I found was I wasn't able to provide the service I wanted. I couldn't edit all your videos, pick out camps for you, look up list of schools, find out who needed what position, talk to the NCAA conferences about the new rules that they have for every single team and league and conference, find out about MLS NEXT rules, ECNL rules. And so now what I find is I'm much more efficient with my students. And the reason we've been so successful with our students both finding their dream schools, being happy, and getting big major scholarships is that I'm able to have your coaches work with you on the day-to-day while I work with you over here going, what video should they have? How many times do we need to edit this? Should we follow up with this coach or that coach? What's their list of schools? So I'm working for you, but your day-to-day, you will not speak with me. You will speak with your College Soccer Guide coach, who, as I mentioned, was once upon a time you, watched the same video, had the same exact concerns, ended up working with me and my team, went on to play called soccer, and now they work for me.
