What should you be doing if you are 9 years old and you want to play college soccer? I'm the College Soccer Youth Guy and I help you play MLS, NXL, and ECNL. So this girl's family just called me and she's really good for her age. Really good. So I'm already watching her do very advanced moves with her feet at a very young age and a super goal. And obviously somebody's training her slash recording her. So the only way I would know if she's any good is through video. So obviously please record. Use your iPhone, that's totally fine, but please record. The next thing obviously is she's— somebody's training her technically. So technically you want to either have somebody or maybe have somebody in your life, father, mom, dad, coach, that is doing maybe extra sessions with you or something so you can get better at soccer. You should also have a technical program like specifically for college soccer, and you should have somebody be watching your full game videos. But the big problem you're going to have is switching club teams. Which club team to go on? How to find them? What should you say? How do you get the tryout? How do you move on to the next club team? Which club team should you pick? How do you know if the coach is good? How do you know if they're going to help you play college soccer? You don't want to be the person who's being told, "Hey, I started this process, I'm joining the team late, we're full. You're really good, we want you, but we're full." There's consequences to that, and it could mean you don't get to play at the college soccer school of your dreams. Now, if I'm aggressive and scaring you, good. I want you to take action. Now, as the athlete here, you don't have to do that much. This is for mom and dad to gently guide you in the right direction, so this video is for mom and dad. I also want this girl, 'cause she's really good with her feet, going to middle school camps. And they will let you go to middle school camps even when you're younger. You can ask permission or you can, I mean, I wouldn't suggest fibbing necessarily, but you probably could fib about your age. And because she's really good, I would say, hey, go to the middle school camp, you're good enough, even though she's only in 4th grade. She's gonna be better than most of the middle school kids there 'cause she's a really good soccer player. And then guess what? I'm gonna have her email the college and say, I'm going to middle school, I'm only 9 years old, I love your school, you're my dream school, I know you can't respond to me, I just want you to know I love you. And I'm gonna be at your fall game and I'm gonna follow you all the time and I am your superfan. You don't think when she hits 7th grade they're gonna be like, we know who you are, you've been coming to us since you were a kid, of course we know who you are in 8th grade. 9th grade, would you like an offer? Or if you want to play Division 1, June 15th, would you like an offer? Because we've known you since you were 9 years old and it didn't take that much more effort. You were going to play club soccer anyways, so you sent 2 or 3 emails, so you went to some camps. Not a big deal. But if you don't take any action and you don't do anything then you might be the one stuck and not get to play console. If you want help, you can call me, links in the bio, talk soon, or DM me. Bye.
