Two parents weigh recruiting services for college soccer: NCSA sends profiles to thousands of schools, while College Soccer Guy targets fewer coaches from a personal Gmail for better response rates. They argue that quality outreach from the athlete's own accounts beats mass distribution.

We need to sign up for NCSA. It's the easiest way for coaches to notice our kid. Or we could work with somebody like the College Soccer Guy. NCSA has access to thousands of schools and they can send our kid's profile to every school in the country. Yeah, but how many coaches actually look at those profiles? It's like throwing a dart at a map and closing your eyes and hoping it hits something. Okay, but the College Soccer Guy costs more and he doesn't have the same reach. Well, the College Soccer Guy actually has the exact same reach. He has all the emails of every single college coach. But what makes him even more different is He has that system connected to your own Gmail account, so we know we will get better responses because the college coaches, I've been told, don't really like hearing from NCAA. What about exposure? Isn't that the whole point? It's also about the right exposure. Do we want to have them impress 100 coaches that we don't even know if they like? Or do we want to impress 10 coaches that we know we do like and that like them? Hmm. So you're saying it's quality over quantity? Exactly. A focused approach could save us time and money in the long run. Okay, let's schedule a call with this college soccer guy. And I actually heard that if you've already bought NCSA in the past, he gives a discount. Whether you're working with me or any other company, just make sure that your goals are in line with whoever you're working with. You don't need to work with me necessarily, but I do want you to make sure you put the power in your control. And to do that, you must send the emails from your own account and make your own YouTube and make your own Instagram. Do not depend on the platforms to get you recruited. If you want more help, comment "call" and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
