The main reason why you will never play college soccer? Yes, the club plays a role, but there are lots of good clubs with lots of good girls. The bigger difference is the amount of communication you have with the coach so you can make the decision you are happy with. You may be able to get an offer tomorrow, but that head coach becomes your new father/mother for the next 4 years. Your teammates are your new siblings, and more new siblings keep coming each year. You want a coach you trust to bring in new good people. When you are made an offer, you usually have 2 weeks to decide. Are you going to be ready to say yes? Saying yes to the wrong place, coach, or environment could literally be life-threatening, especially on the women's side.
