What does it look like to work with the College Soccer As 10th Grade + Cost Real?

In this 45‑minute video, Zev (the "College Soccer Guy") addresses high‑school sophomores and their parents about his college‑soccer recruiting service. He begins by apologizing for strict attendance rules, then outlines a structured intake process that gauges the athlete’s interest (video watch‑check, 1‑10 fit rating) and determines whether they are a good match. Zev explains the early‑start myth, noting that many of his clients begin as early as 5th‑8th grade and that waiting until junior year can be too late for top programs. He then details his proprietary AI‑driven email/CRM system that auto‑generates personalized coach outreach from the athlete’s own Gmail, tracks camp invitations, and prompts follow‑ups. The service also includes video editing, ID‑camp selection, club‑team audits, a dedicated 24/7 coach, and a Google‑Drive workflow with tiered school lists based on academic majors and division fit. Pricing options, a three‑month performance guarantee with a full refund, and success statistics (e.g., 98% of students with GPA > 3.5 earn $60‑300k in aid) are presented. Zev contrasts his model with competitors like NCSA, criticizing their generic video edits, lack of personal email accounts, and lower‑tier school placements. Throughout, he intersperses testimonials from former clients who secured offers at schools such as Duke, UCSB, and Division III programs, emphasizing the importance of finding a coach the athlete loves and keeping academics first. The video concludes with a call to action for families to decide if they want this personalized, academically‑focused recruiting support.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for tuning in. I'm really excited to talk to you. Real quick thing, I apologize, you've been getting some aggressive messages talking about if you don't show up you'll be banned. I do want to apologize about that. I do have to enforce this rule because some people have been booking without showing up, which is not fair to me and my time or to you and your time. So I apologize about that first and foremost. Second, in the bottom right-hand corner you will see a button that will fast forward this video so you can watch it on super speed. Okay, with that in mind, I'm ready to hear to help you play college soccer as a sophomore. So in this video, I'm going to talk about what it looks like to work with me, including the cost, and why maybe we should work together, but also maybe why we should not work together, because we need to see if we're the right fit. So with that in mind, here's what I want to show you first. So when you have your meeting with me, this is the first thing I'm going to ask you: did you watch this video? Because this video goes into more detail, and you're going to see a couple different options to work with me, and I would like to know which option you're going to pick so I can spend time talking to you instead of talking about myself or anything like that. We can have all the attention on you. The next thing is, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being you wanna— you hate me so much, and 10 being you want to work with me right now, I'm going to figure out— I'd like to know where you stand before our call has even begun. That way I have an idea of what we need to talk about. And you're going to ask me the same question and say, hey Zev, where do you stand on working with you? I would have seen your video at this point, and I'll have my own opinion as we find out if we're going to work together. The next thing is this: I want to figure out, are we the right fit to work together? Can I make you quit? You know, as a sophomore, you might think it's too early to start. You might think you're really late. I'm going to show you some examples today, but one of the things that's important is, can I actually help you? And I don't know if I can yet, so that's what this call is for. Then I want to see if I can make you quit, because if I can make you quit, mom and dad, we don't have to worry about anything for your kid and your athlete, and you could just relax and have piña coladas. Hopefully I can make you quit so we don't have to worry about any of this torment. And then by the end of the call, I'm hoping I could have answered all your questions regarding what it looks like to work with me, and regards to the recruiting process. So, with that in mind, I have a couple questions first for your athlete. The first question is gonna be, how many phone calls have you had so far? Now you may be going, they're only a sophomore, they can't have any phone calls. That is not true. For our students, for example, the majority of the kids I work with are in 8th, 9th, and some 10th graders, depending on your situation. We actually have about 5 to 10 kids, we work with about 30 to 40 kids in total, about 20% of those kids are in 5th, 6th, and 7th grade. So the idea that you are early to this process is not correct. The idea that you're right on the money and starting on time would probably be more accurate, right? 6th, 7th grade would be considered early, but there's really no on time. There's either early or you're late. So with that in mind, I'm gonna ask you how many phone calls have you had? And if you say none, that's depending on your video, I might be like, that's normal. I might be, that's concerning. And how many visits? Now this will be specific to Division III, but Division I schools do break the rules We're going to talk about how we've had some students who will be committed. As it happens, I'm filming this video leading up to June 15th. And so what that means is that is a really important date as we're doing this process, because that is the day in which we can talk to schools more freely. So having said that, the next question I'm going to ask you is, what is it that you need the most help with? You know, why are you talking to me? What can I help you with? I'd like to help you if I can, and I'd like to know what you want help with. The next thing is from your parents' perspective. What do you want the most help with? If you are not watching this, mom and dad, please make sure you do. And if you're mom and dad and your athlete is not watching this, please pause and go get them because it's really important that you all see this. So when we talk, we all are on the same page. Which is then to say, you know, why do you think you should start now? Maybe let's have a little debate. I think it is too early. You're only a sophomore. You should wait a little bit longer. Well, this student right here is in 8th grade receiving a text message from Middlebury about what their schedule's like and what camps to go to, and he's already talking about which club team he's going to. He was switching teams from an MLS Next team to a residency program, and they're already talking to each other, and this student is in 8th grade. Now, I may then say to you, you know, why do you want to play college soccer? This is a lot of work. You know, why do you want this so badly? And then I'm going to say to your parents, do we all agree that academics come first? Because remember, academics are the most important important. And if you don't believe academics are the most important, stop the call right now, don't work with me, and have a good life. It's not that you won't have a good life without it, but I played pro soccer for a very long time, all the way up until the highest levels. I'm just going to go for fun to my Wikipedia, and you'll see if you look me up later, I played college soccer all the way through to MLS. I was at Toronto. And one of the things— I played college soccer and then I played pro soccer at a lot of different clubs. And one of the things I learned was how grateful I am that I have my master's degree and my UEFA license. And so that's why I'm a big believer that education comes first. And when I played pro, I was making $900 a month and living in a closet, and thank goodness I frankly got my master's degree. Which is then to say, if we all agree academics come first, why is it that you, mom and dad, want to support your athlete in playing college soccer? We could lock them in a closet and just focus on school. Why do you want to help them play college soccer? And then we're going to talk about your diagnosis. So when I give a diagnosis, this is having watched your video, the discussion we've had up until this point, and I'm going to basically tell you what level I think you can play and what level you're on track for. And if we work together, what that could mean. Maybe it means that you're not as high level as you think, or maybe it means you're higher than you thought. And with my help, I can help you go further. Or maybe I say to you, look, 'Based on your situation, we're not the right fit and I can't really help you. I don't know yet.' And that's where this diagnosis comes in. The next thing is when I talk about your video, I'm going to put in two categories: what will the coach think of your video and what is your level? And those are two different places. The reason that's really important is I'm going to watch your video over and over again. A coach is going to watch it for 15 seconds, and so there's a good chance I'm going to have to fix your video. So the first piece of this comes to video. Then we have this email system, and I want to show you what this does because it's pretty spectacular. So I have this AI system that I built, and I'm the only one in the entire world that has this, and it's proprietary to me. It's very expensive, and it cost me my life savings to build it, and I had to basically learn coding in order to make it because it's very custom. So, and it's specific for college soccer, not other sports. So in saying that, if I click select all, this is every single email of every single coach in the country, and click write emails and then I go, dear hashtag coach hashtag genuine hashtag school, it will automatically populate every coach's first name, it will automatically populate something genuine, it will put the school name in there, and then it will go to every single coach in the country. So very quickly we can go from no man's land to I've just emailed every school about my showcase, I've just updated everyone about my video. And of course we're not gonna do that to every school, but we are gonna do it to quite a few schools. Then the system will automatically read the emails that come in. Remember, this connects to your own Gmail, and that's what makes it really special. Because if you work with NCSA or any other company, it comes from their account, and I'll show you a video later about how college coaches hate that. But here, it automatically organizes it into a genuine email, if it was genuine. And then let's say one of these emails mentioned camp, right? Let's say the Duke mentioned their camp. The system will automatically memorize the camp that you were invited to and make a note of it for you. So that way, every time you get an email, it goes, oh, this is the camp you're invited to, and it will tell you whether it was genuine or generic with some prompts that we give you. And then if you need to text with the school, if you've gone on a visit, and then every time a school doesn't respond, it will automatically remind you, hey, you need to follow up with this school because you haven't heard from them. Here's an Every Touch video to use. Here's a follow-up template to use. We're gonna teach you, of course, all those things. And then this little robot is College Soccer Guy, me, cloned. So you can ask it, what's every single club team in California? How many seniors does a team have? How many? When is the ID camp for UCSB, for example? And it knows everything. It's like ChatGPT, but only for college soccer, which of course makes it very special. So now we've got ourselves this AI amazing system. We've got ourselves ID camps. We need to pick ID camps for you. Of course, I kind of know all of them, and my job is to figure out which one might be good for you. And then I'm going to do an audit. Maybe you've already started this process and I need to figure out what you've done and what you haven't done. And club soccer is a subject we always have to talk about. Is your club helping? Are they not helping? Then we want to narrow down a list. We want to figure out who do you like. Right now you don't have any offers, correct? Do you have any offers? No. So you don't get to be picky and go, I only want to email Duke or Stanford or Clemson. You have to be mindful and go, hey, who likes me? But then the next step is, who do you like? You know, a lot of people hate ID camps, but ID camps give you an opportunity to be coached by the coach. What if you go to the ID camp and you go, that coach was a prick? You've just saved yourself years of agony. So I want your headspace going, who do I like? And then finally, do you love the coach? And I'm really, really adamant about this. Have you had a coach in your life that was a complete prick and you just hated them? My assumption is probably. So you don't want to be that for 4 years. It's a horrible experience. And my coach was the best ever. This is me, I'm a captain. These are all my teammates. They're all going to come to my wedding. And I just had the best year ever. I just loved my coach. My brother, on the other hand, he was miserable. He went to a Division III school. The coach hated him. He hated the coach. And, you know, ultimately he hurt his hip really badly, got to a depressed state, and started abusing himself because of his college experience. So that's why I think it's really important we find a coach you love. And you probably have heard horror stories of females especially having a coach and being in an environment where literally they unalive themselves, and that is the last thing we want. So your coach is a huge part of this process, which is then to say, let's have a debate. We already talked about this a little bit already. When should you start this process? So I'm going to have us listen to this video of— these are some former students of ours. The gentleman who you're going to see here doing the interview— I'm going to jump to this section here because the intro you don't need to hear. Right here, this guy that you're seeing on screen He is my former student. He played at UCSB Division I. We started him in about 9th grade, and he's interviewing our other students about when they started the process, and I think you'll get a kick out of it.
All right, where you're like, hey, what schools am I interested in?
Sophomore year. Okay, sophomore year.
When did your recruiting process start where you're like, hey, what schools am I interested in?
Sophomore year. Okay, I would do ID camps, you know the ground.
Hell yeah. You know, now that player got drafted to MLS, so he started sophomore year, and he's going to talk about his club situation real quick.
The ground— and I wasn't on the map because of the teams I played on. You know, nobody scouts UPSL for high— or for college players, right? And I would do well, I would do well at ID camps.
What's the recruiting process like for you? When did you start?
I played up a year for a while. I don't think I was necessarily like late to the recruiting process, But like, I mean, in hindsight, it's kind of crazy to think about because I committed when I was going into my junior year of high school, whereas like my process started like a year or two before that whole time, like before I committed. So I mean, I was what, like 14, 15 years old, like starting to look for the college. It was just crazy looking back on it.
When did you start the recruiting process?
Basically every time I went to a showcase. I emailed the coach like about 100 times. I committed going into my junior year.
Is that late for girls?
Yeah, I think, I mean, at the time I think it was later because girls were like committing my freshman year.
How is that even possible?
I didn't even know college was a thing. Like, I just came out of middle school. I was like, are you kidding?
Yeah. So if you're a girl watching this, you need to know that you're not a sophomore, you are a junior. And if you want to play college soccer, you'll be committed in your junior year. And you think that's even early? This is another one I just want to show you briefly. When we're working with students, they're kind of like, hey, we don't have to start sophomore year yet. She was committed— this girl who's pretty famous, she's got like 100,000, 200,000 followers— University of Denver at the end of her freshman year. So this idea that you don't need to start yet, this is just not accurate if you want to go to a top, top level school. Now, this student of ours is a kid that committed to Duke his sophomore year on June 17th of his sophomore year. And one of the things that we did is by the time he was a sophomore, we had already been to Duke ID camps about 10 times, literally, for starting in 8th grade. So if you want to play at a school like this, you are behind if you're starting right now. Maybe you've already done some things that I haven't heard about it, but I just want you to hear a little bit about what he has to say about starting as a sophomore. Congratulations. You are committed as a 2026. Which is super exciting. One of the things we spoke about early on is you're a good soccer player. We knew that from an early age. Tell me a little bit just about how you committed to Duke as a 26. Just brag for a minute on your own.
Well, I think it was a lot of hard work. And I think working with you really helped because you just helped me in every single part of the process. And you really made it so that all I really had to focus My focus on was being the best soccer player I could be and being the best student I could be, and you took care of all the recruitment parts of it.
Now when we do all the recruitment parts of it, what he means is we want to automate your videos, edit your videos for you, email the schools, so you can focus on soccer, so honestly you can do better in school, 'cause we want you to focus on the academics. That's really important for us. So now I need to ask you, have I managed to scare you away? Make you want to quit, because we don't have to do any of this then, and that makes our life really easy. So if you've— if I've scared you away at this point, then great, we don't have to worry about any of this. And that's finally to say there are other companies out there like me, and I think it's important you hear from them. I'm sure you've heard of NCSA. If you haven't, you will very soon. And this is— even if you don't work with me, which might be the case, it's really important to me that you hear what they have to say about specifically agencies. And how college coaches think of agencies, because it's, it's—
Yeah, so right now we, we did the NCSA thing and it's a bit of a mess, and it's a waste of everything.
Yeah, let's just call it how it is.
Listen, we, we understand what you charge, and I feel like it's a good investment.
Lack of experience, we connected with NCSA, and everything you've said about NCSA has been absolutely spot on. We've— I feel like I've ate that cost, um, and it's been terrible. One of biggest things that connected me was your list of which, uh, ID camps to go to.
We met, uh, BioLine Coach Joey for the first time at one of those mass camps, the Elite College ID Camp up in the LA area, LMU.
And also, yeah, Elite one's a good one.
Yeah, it was really good. Uh, you got a good review from, uh, I think WashU from St. Louis. Just, you know, talk to these guys throughout both days, and they actually talked about NCSA and, and kind of said like, hey, we don't like to receive emails from those guys. We We want to hear from you guys directly. So I think we, we kind of— we watched your video, it resonated, it said the same thing we heard from them directly.
I give a discount for people that have— and so one of the things that's really important is when we're working with you and we're talking about NCSA and things, we need to understand the difference. So part of the difference is this, and this is important because it's not an, uh— NCSA really irks me because I bought NCSA. My parents bought NCSA, my brother bought NCSA, we all did. We all started somewhere. So the biggest difference is, first of all, I will edit all your videos, and I hate when they edit the videos because they genuinely— I don't know what they're doing. There's no self-interview, there's no intro page. They just take whatever video you gave them and put it together. It is not professional specifically for soccer. I think NCSA can work for other sports, but for soccer it doesn't. And I'll show you another example of that in a minute. You must meet with my team and I every single week, which we'll talk about. They don't have the organic email system from your own email account. You heard the last guy say they do not want to hear from NCSA. With me, if you work with me and it's not working in 3 months, then I refund you. If you sign up with them or anyone like them, you're stuck and you cannot get out of it. And the way I know that is a lot of people work with NCSA, pay for their higher services, then want to work with me, and you know, it's hard to do both. So, and they're frustrated, of course. And then the final thing is They claim to have a platform, and they're like, with our platform, you will get recruited. So this is where their platform has helped kids go. So you get an idea of actually what it means when they say we're here to help you get recruited. This is where the students are committing to: Wittenberg, Gerber, Milligan, Wilmington, Glauchau— I've never even heard of Glauchau, and there's my full-time job. These are not the types of schools that you, frankly, are hiring me for or that you probably want to go to. So this just is to say, even if you don't work with me, like I said, you cannot trust this company or any company to do this for you. You must reach out to them. It is really, really important. So then this is where I'm going to ask the athlete, you know, is this the type of help you want? Do you want me to help you with videos, emails, camps, audit, club soccer, finding out the right coach for you? Mom and Dad, is this the type of help you're looking for? Because if it is, then we're still on the right page. And of course I have to go over your video with you, but we're still heading in the right direction. Okay, so now what does it look like to work with me? So the first thing is you're going to get a coach plus me. Now your coach was once a student who sat there just like you did. I had this same discussion with them. They signed up with me. They went on to play college soccer at a top academic, and now they work for me. They had to shadow me for a long time and whatnot, but This is why I love my process, because they really understand my model, and I've known them since they were 13 years old. I know their parents. I want you to talk to their parents. I want this to be the College Soccer Guy family. The dream one day is the people that work for me will go get a full-time job, and your kids in high school will intern for them, or in college they'll intern for them when they're adults. I've been doing this for about 10 years, so I need another 20 to 30 years for that to happen, but that is my dream one day, which is then to say, you will get a coach who will work with you 24/7 and me. Now your Zoom meetings will not be with me. Your Zoom meetings will be with your coach. Now I would love to do the Zoom meetings with you. The main reason they're not with me is because I have to do a lot of work for you. As a sophomore, I have to find out who needs your position, find out which camps to go to. I have to update the email system, make sure all those emails are correct every night at midnight. I want to make sure I'm there to help you as much as I can, but I'm not always available to you. I have to go look at the NCAA rules, how the club soccer system is changing. So that's why you have a coach 24/7. But you can message me as much as you want. Messaging is all the time. We will edit all your videos. We want to go through game review, the College Soccer Google Drive, which I'm going to show you now. Every student of ours gets this Google Drive. And when they work with us, the reason this is so important to us is we want to make sure that when we're working together, you see the value of what we're doing when we're working. So the first thing is you're going to get this document. And in this document, we create different tiers for each college level. So you're going to get a list of schools that are based off of your major. You're gonna get a list of schools that are tiered in terms of Division I, Division— Reach schools, realistic schools, and we're gonna make that list for you. Then we're gonna get it, as I mentioned, based off of major. This is the major document where we talk about what schools might be realistic for you based off of top academic and your grades and your majors and whatnot. We customize this for each student. And then you are going to get this document, and in this document, we kinda go over everything we need to do. So we record every single meeting so you have a copy of it using the technology you're seeing now. We tell you what you need to do, and then we go again. And this was just the other day, 2 days ago when we spoke to her. And we do it over and over and over again, and then you can book us as much as you want. And then finally, you are going to get your videos edited. And we have a lot of videos to edit. So we've already made a couple of retouch videos for this student. There's a current student right now. This is a highlight video, and this is kind of what it will look like Once you've graduated, say, with us, and you've worked with us for a year or longer, is here you will see all the times we met, and then you'll see the meetings that we recorded, and you can see we've met many times, and then you gotta text this school, then you have to call UCSB, then you have to call with Colgate, and this is what we want to do, and this student just committed the other day, which is very exciting, and now we tell you what to do. We become your dating coach. We tell you what to say, how to say it, when to say it. Now, if you're not being recruited in the next 3 months after working with us, we fully refund you, which we'll talk about in detail in a minute. 98% of our students with above a 3.5 GPA receive a minimum of $60,000 upwards of $300,000. So, in order for us to help you, if you go here, for example, Division III is where most people think there's no money. This person got $300,000 from Division III. That is where the most money is, whether you think so or not. And the reason is, Academics is really where the money lies. I want to show you this video real quick. This is the head coach of the women's team in Florida, and this is what he talks about when he talks about scholarships.
Generally speaking, the vast majority of your child's financial aid for college will not come from athletics, even if they are incredibly good at what they do. So, um, so don't be thinking it's like hitting the lottery, because it's not generally So the reason I bring that up is there's—
the money is not in athletics. Of course it can be sometimes, but the money is in academics. This is why so many of our students get scholarships, is because the soccer team wants them. They get into the school because of soccer, and then they get both athletic and academic, or maybe just academic, or sometimes just athletic. So in saying that, there's a couple options to work with us depending on the situation you're in, and so I want to talk about that with you really quickly. So one of the things I talk about is the importance of video. And I want you to listen to this because it really shows you how powerful changing your video can be. When did we, we met our first, our first, first call, like when we were deciding to meet together?
Last Friday.
No, Wednesday. Wednesday, right. Last Wednesday. Last Wednesday was when we had a discussion about meeting. Then we started working. That week, or pretty close to it. That was like March 1st. We met again on March 5th, fixed the video within a week, resent the email, and we went from— we had offers, but not from the schools we wanted. Is that fair to say? Right.
That's right.
And then within a week, we had your dream school. Yeah, it's pretty amazing.
Listen, I'll tell you, I give you credit. The video, when we watched the video, I was like, wow, It's a lot of the same footage, but it looks completely different. So fantastic job. Thank you so much. Thank you for putting that together.
And they went on to get $80,000 scholarship, which they leveraged because they had two offers and they didn't match. So they said, hey, this school's given us more money, could you match it? And that's how they were— we were able to get more scholarship for them. So in saying that, here's a couple different options. The first option to work with us is we do everything for you. So in this model, we create the email account for you, we press send, and we reply for you. All you really do is sit there and listen to what we tell you. We tell you which camps to go to, we tell you which teams to try out for, and you don't really lift a finger. Now, we do need to meet with you, of course, because we want to know what schools you like, but you don't really get necessarily a say. We're just telling you what to do, and you have to do what we say. And we email, we pretend to be you so we get to know you a little bit, and then we're you for the entire process. Now, of course, when a meeting is booked or a phone call, we're going to meet with you and say, this is what you're going to say. This is frankly less collaborative. It's really, hey, we're going to help you with the process, and we just do it for you, and you just sit there and watch us do our magic. Now, the issue with this, as I mentioned, is if I say you have to go to a camp, you typically have to go to that camp, because that's what we did all of our work for. Of course, it's going to be a camp you love, or a school rather, you'd want to go to, but we're in charge. This is honestly typically for students who want it all done for them. We have some internationals in Dubai. That's kind of what this model can be for. So this is really the one that probably will fit us the best. It's the exact same thing as the other one, except you click send and we're with you. So you— it's your email account, it's your process, but we are with you before you click send. We tell you what to say, how to say it, and when to say it, but we're doing it together. So you'll receive an email, so will we, and then we'll respond together and go, this is how you respond. You click send. You're about to get on a phone call, this is what you say. You're going to text with the coach, this is what you reply with. So we're a team here, a little bit more working together versus the other model is you just sit there and you don't lift a finger really. This is what we usually encourage for kids, particularly your age, because we want you to be part of the process. We want the coaches to feel like you're part of the process. The other option is if you'd like to do this on your own, you go, Zev, we don't need your video, we don't need anything else, we just want your cool AI tool. Then you can just have the AI tool and go to town. You'll still get access to like our document and our Google Drive and stuff, but you just take the AI and you go for it. And if that's a model where you go, that's a little bit more in our budget, then so be it. So thank you so much for watching. I know this was a long video. If at the end of this, what I'm going to say to you is I'm going to go, hey, when we meet, I'm going to say to you, you watched everything, which model are you looking at the most? So that way when we talk, I can orient everything we're saying towards that model to save us time so we can pick out which one you would like. All right, it was so nice talking to you. I'm really looking forward to it, and we'll talk soon.
