In this short monologue Corrado Fontana explains how service providers must make the client perceive the value of their work through clear measurement. If the client cannot see the value, they will reduce the quote to the number of hours they think the job would take or compare individual items on Amazon to gauge the margin. Fontana warns that you should not give estimates to people who do not understand the value or are merely curious about the price. The fourth commandment he states is: do not provide a quote to someone who is only curious about the cost.
