Britney The Realtor Made 6 FIGURES at 19 Then Became a Housewife | Talk Les Show

In this candid interview on the Talk Less Show, Brittany (known as "Brittany the Realtor") recounts her tumultuous personal and professional journey. She describes rapidly reuniting with an ex‑partner, moving in together, merging families, getting engaged, and having two children in a short span, only to realize they had grown apart and divorced while maintaining a cooperative co‑parenting relationship. Brittany shares that she earned a six‑figure income at 19 through real estate, later became a housewife, and struggled with loss of independence, financial control, and overthinking. After a period of illness and mental‑health challenges, she decided to reclaim her identity, re‑enter the real estate market, and emphasize the importance of personal autonomy, especially for women balancing motherhood and career. The conversation also touches on societal expectations of young love, marriage, and the pressures of public scrutiny from reality TV and social media.

These men are not good people. They're pieces of shit. And I don't like it. So I got back with my ex, you know, 'cause I knew he really loved me.
Mm-hmm.
Like, he's not using me for anything. Like, he really loved me. So got back with him. And because we had history, we moved really fast. Moved in together, merged families, got engaged, got pregnant, got, you know, had one baby, had another baby. We just moved really, really, really fast. And I think we were banking on us being who we were in the past.
Mm.
And we're different people. A, we're older. B, we just merged families. We grew our families. And now we're not the same people. So we didn't make it because we grew apart and our friendship was not there. And as we just said, the friendship is the most important thing. And once we lost our friendship and I'm like, walking around the house on eggshells or sleeping with a stranger. It's like, what are we doing?
Mm-hmm.
And he's not a bad person. I'm not a bad person. It's just we're disconnected right now. We're not in alignment. So we ended up getting a divorce. You know, split family at this point, but it's— we're in a good place. We're in a good space. We co-parent very well. Our kids are happy. And that's all that matters.
Yeah, I feel like when you're in your 20s and you're dating somebody, as much as you love them, you still figure it—
you don't even know who you are. Exactly.
Like, you're still figuring it out. So I'm very glad that I was just like dating. But, you know, I got married when I was 22, but it's like that shit didn't even last for 2 weeks, man. It was so bad.
Oh shit, I didn't know that.
Yeah, it was a very quick marriage. It was like— but in my mind, you know, I'm coming from Russia. Like, the whole thing we know about is you need to get married and have kids. So when I was 19, my first boyfriend, The goal was to get married, to have kids, you know. But it's like, I'm 19, and now I'm like, God, if I— God, thank you for not giving that to me because I just— and I'm glad it didn't work out because ain't no way.
Like, yeah, 19, starting a family at 19 is super, um—
but you don't even know who you are. Like, you don't even have a job at that point. Like, you just— you literally just— just— just a kid who is just like, like, in love, you know.
And you should just be that, just be in love and enjoy each other. And if you guys make it to 30, then maybe we can talk marriage and kids. But I got married at, I wanna say 27.
Okay.
And, you know, it isn't a super young age, but it's still young.
Yeah, it is.
And then I was literally again in my prime when I got back with him. I'm working at Magic City. I'm again meeting all the guys.
Everybody, literally.
All the guys.
Everybody, yep.
And then I got snatched out of that and then boom, now you're a housewife. And I'm just like, I don't like this for real. I didn't like not having my independence.
I can see that, especially if you work in the Magic City.
Yeah.
It's like—
I started making 6 figures at 19.
Yeah, it's Candyland out there. And the men that are coming, especially coming at you.
Yeah, so my own money was 6 figures at 19.
Right.
And then I'm dealing with an NBA player or, And it felt— life was good. And not saying life was not good when I was married. Life was great. My husband was— my ex-husband was a great provider. It was just me and my mental. I felt like, I don't have any money. He's like, what do you mean? We have money. My money is your money. I'm like, no, your money is your money.
Yeah, I don't have any money.
I don't have no money. And he would give me money, you know, so I feel like I see it in the account, but I'm just like, I don't have any money.
That's not the money I want. Yeah, I don't have any money. I mean, I know what it is because once you make 6 figures, you know, as a young kid— because I started making 6 figures when I was like 23— so to me, that ain't shit. If I don't have a certain amount in my account, I'm broke.
I'm broke.
Like, I'm broke. And it don't matter how much money you got or you got or you got or my mom got. I ain't got it.
I don't have it. And he used to hate when I would say that because again, he was well established, very like— he had everything on lock on his end, but I just felt like I was missing something.
Yeah.
And, um, yeah, we ended up splitting, and then I got back to myself. And then, you know, I felt like, damn, if I only did not agree to sit down and be a housewife. I do not regret being a stay-at-home mom because I do feel like your children need you those first 3 to 4 years. But after that, I should have got right back into it. But that's what pushed me into my real estate career.
Mm.
'Cause I'm like, okay, no, the kids are good. Now we can put them in private school. You know, it's a good school. I trust them, but I gotta get back to being me.
Mm-hmm.
And then if you totally submit to a man and you give up your independence, when you start searching for it again, they start looking at you like, what's going on? I just wanna feel like myself again. I just wanna have, I want to be me. Like, having children will totally change you. Like, I can't imagine.
I don't know. I don't have any kids, so I would love to have some, but I also understand that not right now. Yeah, right now I can't because it's like, this is my baby. I can't— like, this is the first baby I got to grow. And once this baby is walking, you know, somewhat independent, then I can have, you know, children. And then you're going to want to get right back to business.
not going to want to just sit down and— I'm trying to be careful with my words because I don't want to say depend on somebody, because if it's your husband, you are supposed to depend on him. But in the same breath, being an independent woman who has built everything for yourself, it's like, I like that. I want to keep that. I want to keep that.
I don't want to give it up. No, that's, that's the thing is like, that's just— I know that I, man, I got sick. I was in bed for 2 days.
I'm like, man, I'm I'm wasting my life right now.
I'm wasting my life. I'm wasting my life.
I haven't done anything.
I haven't done anything. Like, I'm literally sitting there and I'm just like, okay, but you're sick. Because I'm like, fuck, but I can't get up. But I'm like, but I'm wasting my life. Like, I cannot— to me, if I slow down, oh, it's dangerous. Because then I get to thinking. And when I get to thinking, I get to overthinking. When I get to overthinking, it's over for every fucking body. Because the moment I start creating those castles in my head, I can build— man, I can build a whole world in there. And I don't want to go there.
You literally took the words out of my mouth. I become an overthinker.
Mm-hmm.
And then it's just all bad at that point. Once I get in my head, it's just like, oh my gosh.
Yeah, because there's, there's so many things there that are just sometimes not very— I'm very nice to people, but I'm not really nice to myself. And so the moment that— and then when I start feeling like, oh, hold up, I don't like how this person's treating me, or this person, and then it's just, it's a whole image that I'm creating and I don't It's it's worse than ChatGPT in there, so it's like I can't I can't slow down. I love ChatGPT, but no, whatever goes on in there, it's like fuck you don't want to know. Like if if my thoughts were ever like written out, man, maybe we'll sell out. I don't know if it's gonna be that bad.
These thoughts in our head.
So all right, well let's do an introduction. I know we talk for an hour and then we do the introduction, but that's how we're gonna do it on Talk Less Show. It's my show. It's my rules. Okay, and I do whatever the fuck. I want, and nobody has complained about that.
Leos do what the fuck they want to do.
Yeah, I just think it's better because then the people are like, oh, okay, now we, now we know who we're talking to. So now it's kind of like it's all gonna make sense.
Yes.
Well, you guys, welcome back to Talk Less Show, where conversations go deeper than the surface. And, um, we're in the new studio, as you can see, and I'm gonna keep saying that for the first 25 episodes and just deal with it. So tonight's guest It's somebody the internet thought they had figured out until life started evolving in real time. From relationships in the spotlight to navigating reality TV, social media options, and public scrutiny, she's lived through a version of womanhood a lot of people judge but very few actually understand. You might know her from Love Hip Hop. You might know her from headlines, the blogs, the relationship conversations tied to certain individuals. We're not going to name no names. But beyond all that, she's also a businesswoman, a realtor, a woman who's had to reinvent herself while the world watched. So So we're not just going to talk about reality TV or dating famous men, which, yeah, we are. It's about perception, healing relationships, femininity, attention, ambition, and learning the difference between being desired and actually being valued. So everybody, please welcome, welcome to Talk Class Show, Brittany. Thank you.
Thank you for having me.
And you go by Brittany the Realtor, right?
I do.

And I said, wait, what?
Did you not know?
Hello?
