The End of an Era… Welcome to the New Talk Les Show Studio

In this behind‑the‑scenes video, host Lesya B and set designer Xavier walk viewers through the creation of the brand‑new Talk Less Show studio. They discuss the initial concept of an "elevated upscale" yet homey space, the design process from digital render to physical build, and the intentional placement of symbolic décor such as a LED sign with a custom quote, a lips‑shaped table, a Snow White rose, an hourglass, candles, and a rug made of raw hide. Color theory (black, pink, gold) and personal touches (books, Russian tea‑time table) are explained as reflections of Lesya’s personality and the show’s ethos of honesty. Production details—including a three‑camera setup, lighting plans, and future merch/sponsorship shelves—are outlined. The dialogue also reveals the collaborative dynamic, Lesya’s anxieties and authenticity, Xavier’s hands‑on craftsmanship, and future ideas like a Talk Less roller‑coaster pop‑up. The video ends with a call for audience engagement and sponsor interest.

Welcome back to Talk Less Show. We're taking you behind the scenes what we just created, built, I guess.
Brand new studio.
A brand new studio. There's something that has been in the works for a very, very long time and it just happened. So I actually have my amazing set designer Xavier.
What's going on, y'all? I'm Xavier, and today we're going to be showing you the brand new studio space and bringing Les's vision to reality.
Welcome back. We're building a new studio for Talk Less Show. Alright, y'all ready?
Let's go!
Are you ready to see this masterpiece. All right, cue the montage. Feel the vibes in here. You can see everything, and everything has been so intentional with the space. So I guess we can sit down and we can tell them. Yeah, share what it was. How did— how, how is this even happen?
So, uh, we started off, like I said, with just a shell. Um, and because it is a show, a talk show, we wanted to make sure we had certain elements that allowed you to be open, to be vulnerable, to be honest, to have a truthful moment, um, and, uh, give you something to look at. We call it the, uh, conventional elevated upscale look, right? And maybe even a little grown and sexy, a little bit.
Oh no, it was supposed to be grown and sexy. It was supposed to be a place where you want to walk in and you want to feel like you're at home, you want to feel like you're relaxed. I wanted to have something that nobody else had, and so I feel like that was something that Xavier brought to life that I couldn't even envision in my head. I couldn't even imagine that could be like a real thing, honestly. Like, this is just And there's still like studio lights that are gonna be built. Like tomorrow we're starting to shoot. So there are gonna be more lights that are being brought in, but still like, it's crazy how it came to life. Also like every single thing is intentional in here. So like the table is actually in the shape of Lips, which is a brand of Talk Less Show. Talk less, do more. I will. Sit, Luffy.
We can talk about like key elements and then we'll show you what those things are. And kind of sort of highlight some things that we're really proud of, right? So one of the obvious things is our amazing LED sign, right? With 3-dimensional qualities. We trimmed it out with LED lights that are adjustable. Lesya is going to have the opportunity—
Not we, he. I didn't do nothing. I just woke up one day and I got a picture of that and I was like, wait, what?
It started off with a render. We did a digital render first, so we'll know what it all consists of. Yeah, it turned out amazing. We really wanted to keep the three-dimensional quality and we wanted to keep it like dark and kind of sort of low-key, but like, wow, like boom, in your face type vibes, right? So we trimmed it out with LED lights, started to do like some fun things like color the nail and then also to increase dimension by going through the fingers and all of that good stuff as well.
Yeah, and then I wanted the space to feel like Like, I wanted to have certain elements that would just be like, damn, like, this is a conversation starter. And so like, this is one of those pieces. This like came to be during the time that we had, I guess like, at first we knew it was gonna be a quote, right? Like we knew it was gonna be a quote. We had this whole mockup, it had a quote on it. But then I was like, what's the quote? Because talk less, do more. Yes, it's everywhere, but we need something that's gonna actually like trigger people to talk. And so we were sitting here in the studio just right when we painted the walls and we're like, what can we put on here? What can we put on here? And we came up with this phrase, shout out to ChatGPT, tell the truth or lie better. And the first thing when we went, when Zara hang up the sign, right, the quote, he said across for me, because I was like, I just want to see how it feels. He said across for me and he looks me dead in the eye and he goes, last time I lied was yesterday. And I just started laughing because I'm like, wait, this is so cool that now it's intentional that the guest is going to be facing this quote and they're going to be kind of like forced to say either, what is this? Why did you put this up? Or like, oh, I lied the other day. Because like, you know, one thing about Lesya, like, I hate when people lie. I just like honest people. And so this is so on brand with me. Another thing, I guess, like we can talk about the little like decor. It took us about an hour and a half to put everything together. I guess like the decor, it was just like me going places and like picking out little things that could match the mock-up that we did. Well, that David did. I didn't do it. And I brought all my books. I decided, you know what, I'm just going to buy some of the decor stuff, but the books are going to be the ones that I actually read and actually like. And so really wanted to highlight the book by Mandy B and Weezy, WTF: No Holds Barred. If you watched my episode with Mandy, you know that that was one of my favorite books. I read it. I was very impressed with it. And so there are also little pieces that I'm gonna show you. This is also very symbolic. What is it, the, the Snow White?
I call it a Snow White rose.
The Snow White rose. And you know what they call me, right? So I feel like it was just when I saw that, I was like, wow, this has to be in the studio because it's kind of like, it's very symbolic. And I feel like sometimes it's like a rose that, like, I feel like I could be a rose that's just like stuck in the space, but like, yet you can still see it. So it's like, it's very like, I think it's like intentional.
I think it's cool. Like, it goes great with like storytelling. Like, this gives me like childhood vibes, and anything that's like nostalgic that allows you to create that like narrative of storytelling, that goes good with your show, you know? Like, tell the truth or lie better.
Lie better. Lie better. Because you know, my favorite colors are black and pink, and the peonies, those are my favorite, favorite flowers. So if you see there, and it's kind of like when I saw the vase that had shape of a book, I— or like a stack of books, I was like, yeah, this is something that I would love to have in the studio. Then we got the, the time thing, and time is an illusion. And so, hourglass, hourglass.
Yeah.
So when I saw that, I was like, wow, this, this is kind of very fitting in the space because when we have conversations on Talk Less Show, a lot of times they go above 2.5 hours. And I'm not the person— like Kim Newton said, we don't, we don't cut anything out of the episodes. We just keep everything in. And so it's kind of like, I feel like it could be something that's relaxing, but it's also very symbolic of a conversation.
Yeah, spending time.
Spending time, yeah.
Spending time. And I thought that was pretty cool as well too. And one thing I shared with Lesya was the color pink is a very confessional color, right? It allows you to be like open. And so that's one of the things about like color theory. Like, you know, red is racy, it's edgy. Pink is open. Confessional. It's like a little bit, not necessarily like softer, but maybe it's more honest.
Yeah, yeah. And black is classy, and black is classy, and it's timeless and timeless.
And that's why we also have gold accessories as well, such as the legs on our chairs and frames and all of that good stuff, right? Classy, elevated, timeless, right?
We put a lot of candles in here too because candles is kind of like something that's— those are also candles. When I saw that, I was like, oh, kitty cats. And, um, I just, I don't know why lately it's been a lot about cats because cats, they're, you know, they're sneaky. So we want to make sure we got something sneaky in here too. Because when I looked my show up on Google, Google said that I have a vibe of dragging a lot of information out of people and rarely sharing anything myself. So I feel like I'm more of a cat. So it's a representation of me, you know, where it's like, you can see me, but you don't know what the hell I'm thinking, what the hell I'm going to do. You can never expect it.
Is that the vibe?
It's the vibe. And then I guess like The green stuff that we put in here, the, you know, the plant.
One of my favorite things is the rug. Like, not a lot of people have this, like, hide, right? And I think that that's really, really, really elevated. Like, whenever you can have something inside of your space that represents some sort of life, like plants or something like this raw hide here, it's just like a beautiful texture to add to the space. And it's all about like layering when you're doing decor. It's all about layering. It's like clothes. It's like you want to put on layers and you want to create upscale feel, you know, like an elevated feel.
And I feel like if we didn't have the lights or we didn't have the decor, I just— it would not feel the same because, you know, you wanted to create the space that's like— even like the trim, right? I had to learn that word, by the way. I did not know what that— I learned so many words here, um, because I didn't know what that meant. And it just— it just felt more like it's a homey vibe that it has. You know, it just has this dimension. And we didn't— like, we wanted to keep it on this wall, we wanted to keep on that wall, and it was just very like intentional, I guess.
You had to lay it down, lay the trim down.
Oh yeah, I was like, what do you mean you gotta lay the trim down? Like, it's what— we don't— it doesn't have to— it's not tired. Like, it doesn't need to lay down.
I was so confused. Everyone knows the phrase, you know the phrase, lay it down, lay down the track, lay down the trim.
I've been, uh, corrupted by my Psych, you've been corrupted with all these lay down things, you know? Not okay things.
I will say this, I was really impressed by your painting skills. So shout out to Les for painting, hand painting these letters on the front of the coffee table. How did you feel doing that?
Like, I painted the first layer and then the 20 other layers he did. No, it felt so therapeutic. Honestly, it was such a fun experience because I love painting and I didn't know that we can like actually paint it in the, in the same font as the logo. And it's just the way that you did, the way that you did it was really, really cool. Like, it's beautiful. It's really beautiful.
I think it's dope because at first we thought about maybe putting the name of the show on the wall. But like we said earlier, we wanted to make sure things weren't really repetitive. We wanted to make sure things had a flow. We wanted to make sure things didn't feel like an afterthought because sometimes you can design a space and then it feels like you're cramming stuff in it because you have all of these cool ideas. But when you really lay it out or create like a render like we did, It allows you to like play and move stuff around. And like we joked about how we moved the books on the bookshelf for like an hour, which we actually did.
We actually did.
That was not a joke. Lay the book down, stand the book up.
Like it looks so simple, but it truly, you know, we didn't want it to be just like anything. Let's just slap things on there and then let's keep them that way. And then like the table, I feel like that was something that I was like, man, I don't want to make you work so much because he had to like re— plan it 25 times because at first we thought maybe like we can draw the lips on here, uh, like a full logo on here with colors. Maybe we can put the Talk Less Show on top. So that was like a very last minute idea, literally when we came down to painting. I said, you know what, let's do it on the side. Yeah, it kind of felt like it was gonna be the best option. And then like, you know, because we got the mugs, so we can put the mugs here.
It's just been, um, and it was a good idea. It was your idea. I was telling Les about like critique You know, a lot of times when you design the space, a lot of people are afraid of critique. But in all honesty, like, if you are open-minded and you take the critique for what it is, a lot of times the work does get better. So, um, I've always tried to make sure that she felt like whatever she had in her mind, whatever vision, that it wasn't necessarily final and that everything can be changed. Because that's the beautiful thing about art, like, it can be changed. And anything that is design can always be rearranged.
Yeah, that's what my mom said too. She said, you know, keep it as is 'cause you have different seasons. Like you kept telling me like it's gonna be a different season.
Yeah.
And we can like paint the lips, we can paint the table, like we can reorganize those things. And it's so creative. Like it's not, this is not something we just purchased at a store. Like Xaver literally made this table.
It's literally in the shape of lips.
It's a beautiful piece because when I thought about the space, I thought about like being home. And one of the things that I loved My culture, Russian culture, is that at night we would get together with my mom and my grandparents and my brother, and we would just sit at the table and would drink tea and we'll talk. And so like, that's why for me it was important to have a table where we can just like put our cups on and then just kind of like gather around. Obviously we didn't want to do a round table or like hide behind the table. We wanted to just be like as a piece of the entire puzzle. Yeah. And I do have a little gift. Every person that comes on PopClass Show gets this pink bag with some merch, and I I know you're gonna make it your own, so this is for you.
Okay, yeah, let's see what's— let's see what's in the bag.
Well, one you already seen because I was— it was the first day that I was here.
I will say this, anybody that like knows me and my past work and my graffiti background, y'all know I love pink. I don't have a favorite color, but it's all about branding for me. And like, I love the fact that you already have pink. This is amazing, right? Take it out, let's see what we got. That's what I'm talking about. Not even gonna lie, I'm a sucker for a good hoodie. Something cozy. I'll wear a hoodie in the summertime.
Me too.
I love it. Heck yeah.
And then green is—
I feel like it's, it's a vibe.
It looks good. That's like one of my favorite hoodies now. Yeah, yeah.
I think I'm gonna get a lot of compliments.
Yeah, I hope so. And you can style it like— I want you to like actually use your art on it.
You gonna style me up? You gotta get me up.
No, no, you can distress it, whatever you want to do, put some crystals on it.
Oh, you already know, if that's the case—
Yeah, you should do that.
If that's the case, y'all already know how I'm coming.
Yeah, go ahead. I am not against it.
Let's see what else is in here. Dang, this is a really good quality. Appreciate that. Thank you very much.
Well, you know, you're a part of Talk Less now, so talk less, do more.
Hey, look, I don't even came on the show without swag.
And the thing is, like, you don't even need to say those things because you're actually the person that talks less does more because I've been out here talking. He was the one that's literally everything you see built in here was built by him, like with his own hands. Literally, like the table, he put the chairs together, he hung up this, he created the trim, we painted the wall together, painted all of like literally created this back, the wallpaper, which I didn't even think you could do that, you know, just stick the wallpaper on the wall.
I wouldn't even mention that, the marble texture, right? Like I think it's really cool. And then also too, just having like a good eye. Like when we were putting up the marble texture on the wall, Lesya was saying like, oh, move it like this. Like make sure the veins— not a lot of people know that the lines in the marble are called veins. So like she was like, make sure that they're lined up. And so we even shifted it around and did things like that, very subtle things to make sure that it was like aesthetically pleasing.
Yeah, that's like, you know, the only thing I can bring to the table. Like, okay, can we align the veins? Okay, because that's something that's just You kind of want to see. Or like hanging up the sign, you know, I was like, you know, let's tilt it a little bit because originally it was supposed to be straight and we wanted to kind of tilt it a little bit. So it's kind of like nothing is perfect in this world. So we didn't— and when he was, you know, talking about the letters too on the table, I said, just tilt it. It's okay. I mean, if it's not straight or even, it's fine. That's the whole point of my show. Nothing is perfect.
Yeah.
Like I'm the person that's very honest about the things or the seasons that I'm in. You know, when I say I got anxiety, a lot of people don't believe it because they see this like, oh, this strong woman, she got it all. I ain't got shit together, guys.
But I do— I will say this. I will say that creating this project allowed me to see you as you are, and then you allowed yourself to be open, which I thought was pretty cool too, because a lot of times when you, when you build Charisma, yeah, right, or like when you're doing like a team effort type thing If there is a level of charisma or let's just say honesty for the sake of the conversation on the table, it allows you to quote unquote pass the ball to each other better. So I thought that was really cool. Yeah.
Thank you.
And we laughed at a bunch of silly stuff.
Yeah, we spent like— I'm like, now what am I going to do with my life? I don't have to go build the studio anymore? Like, what? But now I guess we can create conversations.
That's true.
Yeah, and then the whole thing about the chairs, I remember—
This is an art piece.
This is an art piece, yeah, and we're just gonna— I'm gonna exist in it, and I love it.
We created a conversational art piece.
This is beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you.
I appreciate that because I know it was not really supposed to happen because you were supposed to move, and then I just— I'm telling you, I don't even know how the stars aligned. I was literally on my way to LA, and I'm getting this, like, mock-up on the plane. I was like, what? I'm like, I don't even need the second version. I want this one. This is what I— I don't even— and I remember I showed it to everybody. Like, I went to this private event with Cam Newton, and I met his woman there and I was like, Cam, look. He's like, damn, this is dope. I showed it to Carlos Miller. I showed him the— I FaceTimed him and I showed every guest that was like Moneybagg Mafia. I still have to show it to Nav Green, but I showed it to everybody while it was building. Tory Craig, all of the people that came on my show, I was showing them the process. They were like, damn, this is insane. Whoever built this, this is crazy. Yeah, this is nothing that we've ever seen before. I'm excited.
Me too. I feel like it's got a lot of energy. I'm excited to see how excited or whatever joy it brings to your guests.
I know, I'm excited to see because like we're gonna, you know, we're gonna spice the place up. We're gonna put some, um, we're gonna put a mini fridge here. So we're gonna have hopefully, you know, let's pray we're gonna get some sponsors so we can put some product placement. I had some conversations yesterday. It's not that easy, guys. It's not that simple. Um, but I'm working behind the scenes on getting Hopefully those shelves filled up with potential sponsors. So if you are a sponsor, if you are looking to invest or support or promote your brand, then, you know, we got plenty of shelves, we got plenty of space. And that was also intention behind it, that, you know, we want to create space where we can work with brands— with, I guess, or on. Um, yeah. And so also, like, the front is another space for the sponsorships. Maybe potentially even down the road something here or on the wall there, you know, that we got. Because there's gonna be 3 cameras that we're filming with as usual. So it's kind of like now we're just looking at one camera, but whenever we start filming the show, we're gonna have 3 different angles. So it's gonna have all of this is gonna be basically in the frame. So that's why it was created the way that it was created.
Man, I'm excited. That's all I can say.
Now I feel like more calm. Like before I was so anxious, I was like, oh my God. And so now it's like settling in, okay, like I was like, this is mine, this is mine.
Yeah, and it does feel home. At one point she had the blanket and her feet propped up in another sofa that you can't see off camera, and she was just like—
I think we sat here for like an hour and a half and just talked about life. Like, literally we did. After we were like—
I think we had like 8-hour days sometimes.
Yeah, like 8 to 10-hour days. We were just painting and like hanging up the lights, and like we just sat and we talked. And I was like, that's exactly the feeling I wanted to have, which unfortunately I didn't have in my other studio that I was at. And I'm very grateful for that space because it allowed me to start my project, to create what I wanted. They were super supportive, they're very, like, great people, but it's just the space didn't feel like home. It didn't feel like I want to be there for, like, hours and hours and hours on end. And this is a space where I'm like, man, like, and we got this beautiful building to ourselves too, so it feels like I want to stay here and I want to come back and I want to create and I just want to take over the world. With this. And hopefully we're gonna take this on the road too.
So there was also talks about a roller coaster.
Oh yes, can we talk about roller coasters?
As long as we build one, I'm cool. You know, that's my dream. I want to build a roller coaster.
Okay.
All right.
Okay.
One day we're gonna do a pop-up show and it will be a Talk Less roller coaster at the event. Oh, like a fair, like, uh, and the seats will be shaped like lips and you just kind ride like that.
Okay, yes, we have created the vision. So you guys, like, share, comment, subscribe. Let us know what you think. Let us know how you like the vision. Um, and we're gonna put all of his information down below. So if you do want to build out your space, if you do want to build a roller coaster, I need you to hit up Xavier, and he will do it. He will fly out to any part of the world and he'll create it.
Build your roller coaster, please.
Let's build a roller coaster. I need to have something in the shape of lips since everybody's hating on my lips. Anyways, thank you so much, and thank you so much. This is amazing. This is like probably my favorite thing I've ever done.
Yeah, me too. I mean, I just— at this point, it's like, talk less, or I don't know, tell the truth a lot better. There you go.
We'll see you on the next one. Bye!
