How you get somebody in your life to understand your anxiety and ocd. The first is express to this person that you'd want to feel heard and understood. This will start the conversation off in an open way. The next thing is explain to them as generally as possible what you're dealing with. You can even tell them that I know that this is irrational, but I don't know how to stop it. The next thing is ask for what you need. Don't expect them to fix it, but let them know I need your patience. I need some understanding. And that leads to my last point. You need to be getting proper help. If you're not, then you aren't going to get better and it's going to be more difficult for your loved ones. I have courses and programs to help you with everything we've talked about today.
