Welcome. Today we're going to quiet the mind and reignite your natural desire. If you've been feeling overwhelmed with thoughts, especially around intimacy or performance, this guided visualization is here to reconnect you with your body, your natural desires and your confidence.
It's all there underneath the thoughts and worries that are sabotaging your experience.
As you listen to this guided visualization every day.
You will find that your confidence and desire returns, allowing you to enjoy intimacy again and engage with your partner in a way like never before.
Being present in the moment is key. Getting out of your head and enjoying the experience for what it is.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable and let your body relax.
Allow your shoulders to drop, your jaw to unclench, and your hands to rest gently by your side.
As you breathe in. Imagine you're inhaling calm, clear air.
As you exhale, let go of tension, doubt and self judgment.
Just breathe in and out.
Notice how you're able to be in your body and get out of your head as you focus on your breath.
Now imagine a gentle river flowing before you.
The water is clear and soothing.
Moving at just the right pace.
You notice leaves floating by, carried effortlessly downstream.
Now think about the thoughts that have been weighing you down.
Maybe the thoughts are worries about performance.
Doubts about desire, or overthinking your past or future experiences.
One by one, place each thought on a leaf and watch it drift downstream.
There's no need to analyze or hold on to these thoughts.
Just let them float by.
As each thought drifts downstream, feel your mind and body becoming lighter, clearer and more at ease.
Now take a moment to bring awareness to your core, your center of strength and confidence.
Picture a warm.
Golden light glowing from your chest.
Radiating calm yet confident energy throughout your body.
With each breath, feel that warmth grow.
Reminding you that desire and confidence are part of who you are.
They're not something to force or control.
They naturally exist within you.
You don't have to be perfect.
This is impossible.
Remember how that desire feels.
Within your mind.
Within your body.
And notice how oftentimes we can bring up that desire naturally, when we're able to calm and relax.
If you're not able to bring that up in this moment, that's okay too.
It will come in time.
Repeat quietly to yourself. I am grounded. I am confident. I am at peace with myself.
Imagine yourself walking into the room and that special person in your life, or the one you want to be with, is lying on the bed.
Instead of avoiding them or overthinking what you should do next.
You're going to move closer to them.
You find yourself walking over to the bed and holding eye contact.
Your next move start are quite calm, natural and confident as you stay out of your head and you focus on action.
Disconnecting from thoughts and acting is going to be your new norm.
If you start thinking.
You'Re going to catch yourself. Disconnect from the thought and focus on the present moment.
As you get closer.
You touch them, kiss them and you notice how good it feels and that you feel free.
Notice your partner's body language.
The way that they look at you.
Their body turned towards you or their hands reaching for you.
You're not expecting perfection.
You're allowing awkward or imperfect moments to happen.
Focus on connection and enjoying the moment for what it is.
Use your five senses.
What do you feel right now?
Are they touching you? Are they responding to your touch?
Really enjoy how their hands feel on your skin.
Or maybe in your hair.
How is their breath responding to you?
Is it getting quicker or deeper?
Do you hear anything else that tells you they're enjoying the moment, connecting with you.
And enjoying what you're doing?
Maybe you're not sure and that's okay.
You can ask them if they like what you're doing.
Maybe they'll say yes or maybe they'll tell you to do something different.
Either way, that's a win.
Communication is crucial.
If you ever find yourself in your head, immediately stop engaging with the thoughts and reconnect with your body.
Remember, you're letting go of all expectations.
Focusing on even the smallest of enjoyments.
There's no pressure at all and you have plenty of time.
Continue to envision this experience going well.
As you end this experience. How did it end for both of you?
What did you do after you were done?
You. You're feeling calm and confident. At this point, you are still fully present.
You're not worrying about what you should feel or how you should act. Right now, you are simply here.
Whole and relaxed.
As you continue to breathe, know that you can return to this feeling of calm and confidence whenever you need it.
Desire doesn't have to be chased or analyzed. It naturally emerges when you feel safe and present.
Desire isn't always perfect, but it can be developed as you focus on the positives, what is going well and let go of imperfections.
More and more you let go of judging yourself, creating negative predictions of the future and self sabotaging avoidance.
Give yourself some kudos right now for staying present.
For bringing your attention back to your body without judgment and for pushing through any discomfort.
Take one more deep breath in and slowly exhale.
When you're ready, gently open your eyes, bringing this sense of quiet strength with you. You move throughout your day.
