Welcome. Today we are going to quiet the mind and reignite your natural desires.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed with thoughts, especially around intimacy, this guided visualization is here to reconnect you with your body and your natural desires. It's all there underneath the thoughts and worries that are sabotaging your intimate experience.
As you listen to this guided visualization every day, you will find that your confidence and desire returns, allowing you to enjoy intimacy again and engage with your partner in a way like you never have before.
I've done it and you can too.
Being present in the moment is key. Getting out of your head and enjoying the experience however it plays out.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Take a deep breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable and let your body relax.
Allow your shoulders to drop, your jaw to unclench and your hands to rest gently by your side.
As you breathe in. Imagine you are inhaling calm, clear air.
As you exhale, let go of tension.
Doubt and self judgment.
Just breathe in.
And out.
Notice how you're able to be in your body and get out of your head as you focus on your breath.
Now imagine a gentle river flowing before you.
The water is clear and soothing, moving at just the right pace.
You notice leaves floating by, carried effortlessly downstream.
Think about the thoughts that have been weighing you down.
Maybe the thoughts are worries about performance.
Doubts about desire, or overthinking your past or future experiences.
One by one, place each thought on a leaf and watch it drift downstream.
There's no need to analyze or hold on to them.
Just let them float by.
As each thought drifts downstream, feel your mind and your body becoming lighter, clearer and more at ease.
Now take a moment to bring awareness to your core.
Your center of connection and confidence.
Picture a warm golden light glowing from your chest, radiating calm, feminine energy throughout your body.
With each breath, feel that warmth grow, reminding you that desire and connection are part of who you are.
They're not something to force or control. They naturally exist within you.
You don't have to be perfect. This is impossible.
Repeat quietly to yourself. I am grounded. I am calm. I am at peace with myself.
Now imagine yourself walking into the room and that special person in your life, or the one you want to be with, is there.
Instead of overthinking or avoiding them entirely, you find yourself moving closer to them.
If you notice discomfort or resistance.
You choose to let it go and bring yourself back to the present moment.
They notice you and they also move closer.
Your next moves together are very natural and without thoughts. Or resistance.
You act, focusing on connection and mind, and you react when necessary. A tandem experience that flows naturally.
As you move towards them.
Touch them, kiss them, and notice the positive feelings. The way that you feel free to be yourself, to not be perfect, and to stop resistance.
You're not expecting perfection.
You stop trying to judgment of yourself.
Others and your particular feelings.
And you allow awkward or imperfect moments to happen.
If you start judging yourself or your partner, you stop that thought process and bring yourself back to the present moment.
Focusing on the way they look at you.
Their body connected with yours.
Or their hands that are touching. You.
Use your five senses here.
What do you feel right now?
Are they touching you?
How are they touching you?
Are they responding to your touch?
Really enjoy how their hands feel on your skin.
Your focus should be in the present moment or in your body.
Without expectations or judgments of yourself or your partner.
If thoughts come up, you're going to disconnect from it and bring yourself back to the experience.
Allowing imperfection.
And shifting your focus to doing something your partner will enjoy.
As you are connecting with your partner in this way.
You might ask them if they like what you're doing.
Maybe they say yes.
Or maybe they tell you to do something differently.
Either way, that's a win.
Even with intimacy, communication is key.
When it comes to resistance. We're taught to honor our needs, our fears and our boundaries.
Sometimes we. We put up walls that no one can get through.
And it allows us to be unhappy and disconnected from others.
You're learning to let those walls down.
You're letting go of all expectations.
Focusing on the present.
And focusing on even the smallest of enjoyments.
There's no pressure at all. You have plenty of time.
Continue to envision the experience going well.
There are going to be great moments, funny moments, maybe even awkward moments. And that's okay.
You quickly move past them and refocus on the pleasure that's there, whatever that looks like for the both of you.
Just like any part of a relationship.
Intimacy requires nurturing, communicating.
And continuing to evolve.
You're surprised at how much you've enjoyed this experience.
Even though it wasn't perfect.
As things come to an end, you notice the positives.
You're feeling calm and confident, and at this point, you're still fully present.
You aren't worrying about what you should feel, how you should act.
You are simply here.
Whole and relaxed.
As you continue to breathe, know that you can return to this feeling of calm and confidence whenever you need it.
Desire doesn't have to be huge. It doesn't have to be chaste and it doesn't have to be analyzed.
It naturally emerges when when you let it be what it is.
When you don't expect it to be like it is in the movies, which is unrealistic.
Desire isn't always perfect, but it can be developed as you focus on the positives, what is going well and letting go of the imperfections.
More and more you let go of judging yourself.
Judging others.
Creating negative predictions of the future in your head and self sabotaging avoidance.
Give yourself some kudos for staying present here, for bringing your attention back to your body without judgment, and for pushing through any discomfort.
Take one more deep breath in and slowly exhale.
When you're ready, gently open your eyes, bringing this sense of quiet strength with you as you move throughout your day.
