Mistake number six, I would sometimes have four to five hour workouts because I was basically just catching up from sessions that I have missed. Now there's nothing wrong with catching up. Let's say you did miss something from a session and then you put it on to another session, it's okay. But the where the problem happens is if you are missing complete sessions and now you're just trying to catch up all of that in one day, you quickly get get tired, fatigue will hit and you won't perform very well and you can even put yourself at risk for injury because now suddenly you're just doing a lot of work in one day that more than you're normally used to and won't be very productive training that you're doing. So looking back catching up would be fine. But if it's complete workouts then rather just say well it was a missed workout, we just get back on track from tomorrow we just continue with the plan from where we left and then move forward.
