Ep. 32 Red Light Therapy with Restore Hyper-wellness
6 Sept 2022 · 40 min
Brian Bowen and Amy Christiansen visit Restore Hyper-wellness to learn about red light therapy from general manager Olivier. Red light at 650 nanometers treats skin conditions and alopecia, while near-infrared at 850 nanometers penetrates deeper for joint pain and inflammation. Ten-minute sessions work best, though research supports up to 20 minutes.

Skin area to be open to the light. So in the light. Yeah we have near infrared light and red light. So two different lights that are penetrating which a lot of the home usage are just red light. So we're able to combine the two lights to basically cover your whole body from superficial to deep.

Here we are. Look at us.
We're live.
We're live together.
That's super exciting.
Face to face in an actual.
Not drinking coffee.
Drinking coffee or other things.
What are you talking about?
I don't know. Our last one we laughed for like 20 minutes because I was swearing somebody was spiking our coffee. The Vegas Nerve conversations were exciting.
It's. Well, I'm excited to be live and hanging out with you but we are at a super cool place that has lots and lots of fun, amazing toys and gadgets. It's going to be hard to focus just on one.
I want to stay here all day and just play all the different things they have here.
If you buy a membership, I bet they have a membership.
I think they do have a membership actually. Actually we might have to cover that at the end.
An all day membership.
You just have a full spa self care day and.
Yeah.
So where are we?
So we are at though and we are here today with the general manager, Olivier.
Hi.
Hi, how are you?
Welcome.
Good.
Olivier. Yes, he added that extra.
I know. Just a little accent over the A is perfect.
I feel like we need nachos and margaritas now.
We totally should have nachos My family makes fun of me, though, a lot, because sometimes when I say a name, especially if there's a, you know, if it's Spanish, I always try to, like, enunciate it that way. So they're like, what are you saying? So should I say Olivia?
Olivia is great. Yeah. My husband likes to go. Olivia really pronounced the I and the V in there. So anything works.
Him and I would get along well.
Yes.
Yes.
In many ways of Olivia.
So, again, hard to focus. But today we're actually. We reached out to these guys and they were so gracious to host us here because we want to dive into red light therapy. It's something that's been around for some time, but definitely with advancements in technology and where we are in today's world, it's picking up some steam and it's starting to, you know, I'm hearing having more of our patients ask us about it. So I'm just like, you know, it's time to, like, dig into this. And they have an amazing machine and amazing atmosphere, which Olivia Olivier will tell you about later. But, yeah. Amy, have you ever done one of these?
I haven't. This is a full body. Now. I have had, like, the little ones that you have close to your face. So my sister and her husband have a couple that they used more for personal use on personal injuries, like on the elbow. And she does, like, facial stuff with hers. Obviously very different than an entire industrial size, full body, front and back setup.
Head to toe here.
I'm excited.
Yeah.
And that's one of the cool. Like to look at this and to look at, like, some of the things that maybe people buy on Amazon. One of the exciting things about us being here with, you know, the technology you guys have is to really educate people on the therapy. But some of the difference. So people. Because it's not apples to apples, right? It's so. So if you don't mind, tell us. Let's jump in and tell us about your equipment.
Perfect. Yeah. So our red light therapy is consisted of platinum led. We chose these just because of the industrial use of them. The commercial kind of grade was better than the residential grade. So as a whole, Restore decided to go with the company platinum led, because we can run them all day long. The bulbs stay at the frequency they need to be. No burnouts, you know, periodically. And so they last a long time, which is great. So how many lights are on this.
Thing, do you think?
Oh, a lot. A million.
And that's. Oh, God. So Hannah's counting. That's gonna be here and I know and I'll let you tell us more about it. But there's actually two different lights in here. But the reason I want to, if I could paint this picture for everybody. There's, I don't know, I feel like a thousand lights, but there's no way. I know a little bit about red light therapy and I know it can create this like net effect. And so if you're, if you have like one that has like 50 lights or whatever and it's doing whatever depth of penetration. I mean this thing feels like it's going to penetrate your soul.
I might need that. We all need help. Are you guys open on Sundays?
We are open, yeah. Have a nice cleanse before Monday.
That's right. So sorry, go back, back to you.
It's like the industrial size and obviously it's not going to be. It's just like anything else. You can have a home version that does something, but coming in and having a more industrial, full strength, high powered, not something that you're having to take care of, not something you're having to keep up with. Obviously the cost of it is exuberantly more than a home device. So that's what we're here for.
We want the whole power and we can both get in there together. We could go back to back and then that's. That's awkward. Never mind. So get, let's get squeezed.
I'm looking at the space going.
You could fit four people in and we could just rotate 90 degree angles.
This is a whole new party theme every three minutes. You know, just aim, rotate, turn.
Are you going to coach everybody for that?
And it's even more awkward because technically when you do this, you do it Derog.
Derek.
Yes.
The more skin exposed, the better. Okay, so yeah, you definitely want all of that skin area to be open to the light. So in the light. Yeah, we have near infrared light and red light. So two different lights that are penetrating, which a lot of the home usage or just red light. So we're able to combine the two lights to basically cover your whole body from superficial to deep.
Okay, so you just said near light. Near.
Near infrared and red light.
Okay.
Yes.
And those are two different lights. And that is because. What's the difference?
Yes. So the red light is more superficial to the skin. So it penetrates about 650 nanometers into your skin and then the near infrared goes more deep. So we're talk more on the joint aspect, the muscle aspect to your body, not just your epidermis layer of your skin.
Okay.
So it's the wavelength. So the wavelength from my little research, the wavelength, kind of a sweet spot for the red light is at like 650. And then the near infrared is more at like, where's my little 850? And so 850 I saw equated to like 2 inches or something like that. So. So more like red light therapy would probably be more common also at. For like, facials and skin therapies. Right. Where the other is going to be deeper. So more muscle joint, right? Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
And so they. If they're both penetrating together. So you have two lights. You have this giant machine with a mass amount of lights penetrating your whole soul. And. And so the one's more superficial, the other one's deeper. And so they're going to. They're going to kind of ride together for a while. So that's yummy. And then one's gonna be like, okay, I'm leaving you here, and it's gonna take off and. And continue on.
Yeah, exactly.
Okay.
So just again, trying to get as deep as we can. So based on, of course, body types and everything that will differentiate, but the idea is to get pretty deep into there.
Yeah, I love it.
Now this one is. It has. It got one setting. So it goes on and it's on.
Yep, it does.
And does it matter how close it is to your body? Like, I see that this is on wheels. So I know you can expand for body sizes, but if it's really good and close to your body, it's obviously going to have more impact deeper into the tissue.
So we want it to be about 4 to 6 inches away from you. Okay. And that's just more for safety reasons too. But we have a lot of people who get different body types, paraplegics that come in here to use it for their need base. And so that is why it's on wheels, because we can adjust it that for those people and those clients.
I was hoping we could put in there like a panini press.
Panini press, yes. And come out with the little dots all over.
Great.
We're gonna both try this, right?
Oh, for sure. I do want to point out, so experience, there's so the red light therapy and near infrared, there's a lot of different terms out there. So also photobiomodulation. Is that a term? You come.
It is a term, yes.
I just wanted to say it first.
Did you know your cell phone is made with recycled materials? In fact, most of the things you depend on every day are from Essential infrastructure to important innovations. America is made with recycled materials. Learn how@recycled materials.org.
Looking to get out there and feel the in your hair? Chevy EVs have you covered like the blazer EV with bold style that's sure to you away. And with Silverado EV towing is a breeze. With the capability to hitch up and tow with ease. And Equinox EV helps you keep moving along like with confidence. Chevrolet together, let's drive.
Yes. And so for short, it's pbm. So not pbr, just ppm. Some people, I call those ski waters, by the way. Some people come in using all different terms. So that is probably the most popular one now. But then the other one is red light therapy.
And is the photo part for photons or. It's for photons, right? Yeah. And so just for everybody listening, I know there is other words out there that people might hear like low level light laser or cold laser. And just to point out, those are different because those are delivered by an actual laser where the photobiomodulation red light therapy, near infrared therapy is from LED lights. And, and this is where technology advancements kick kick butt. Because like think about the advancements in our LED lights at home. Right? So back in the day, I think conceptually or you know, there was some great stuff with this, but I just don't think the power was there. The technology hadn't caught up yet. And now clearly you can see the technology is amazing.
So yeah, even from the light bulbs to the electrical outlets that we have in here, they had to be reconstructed for this machine alone. So everyone that comes in like, oh, can you move it out there? And we're like, oh, we'll blow this entire fuse box. So has to stay in this room because of the amps that it does push out to power the LED lights.
Okay. And normally when somebody comes in to restore and gets the LED done, they would come in. We're in a nice comfortable little spa type room with the LED panels in there and they would disrobe, put the robe on, come into the little screening screens here and then you would turn it on.
Yeah, so when they come in, we actually start the timers for them and then they just completely undress. And so we give them a minute to undress. So the treatment time is 10 minutes. Of course you can do it for longer. Some research shows that doing it up to 20 minutes can help, but everybody's need state as to why they come in here is different. So are we just treating inflammation or are we treating alopecia? And what might that be? So some people do stay in here for 20 minutes, but our main client base only uses it for 10 minutes. So we start the timer for 11 minutes, we step out, ask them to lock the door behind them or behind me. They undress, and then they just step in and enjoy their 10 minute treatment.
Now, they can't wear earrings or jewelry and that kind of stuff. Right. Because that'll get hot.
You can. Yeah. Because of the. Just the wavelength where we sit, that won't affect anything. So jewelry is fine.
Headphones, People come in here with things to listen to while they're standing here.
Yeah. Ten minutes is a long time for especially me. So I saw clients to listen to a podcast. Yes.
All things good for you.
Great podcast.
Yeah. Music. A lot of people meditate. So we'll kind of hear like you can hear it, you know, like them going through a meditation for those 10 minutes. Yeah.
So that's pretty cool. Just everybody's in here busting out some ohms.
Yeah.
So this doesn't get going back to the. The jewelry and the temperature. So this will put out like a mild warmth. But it's over once, I think it's like over a thousand nanometers. Then it's more of a infrared sauna.
Right.
And so red light is on the visible spectrum. So that wavelength, you can see it. That's why we'll see the red. And then the near infrared is an invisible spectrum.
Correct.
Right. So again, you can't buy this off Amazon.
No.
Right. So just for people listening, because they might hear this and they're like, well, I'm going to get one of those. But like, clearly you get what you pay for.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, I'm excited to try it, but I know we can't, you know, with all these therapies. Right. It doesn't matter if it's this or cryo or whatever. We can never say it cures anything or things like that. But what are things that people have? What do you see people coming in for to get treated. And what do you see? That has been really helpful.
Yes. So do you want to turn it on?
Yes, I'm ready. Like, let's talk while I'm getting. I want to be a red lighted.
Well, do you have a bikini on?
No, but it's fine. We're not getting naked.
Tank top is fine.
I'll just tuck my paint shorts.
Roll this. Roll your shirt up a little.
I just want. I can get what I can while we're here. Brian, come on. It's the One time, you know when you go to the can go to the airport.
Screen up there, you go to the.
Airport, you have to do the thing.
Does it say timer?
Yeah.
And then at the bottom, push run.
Oh, shoot.
Okay, there I am. It's extremely bright. But I can stand here with my eyes.
Yes.
Yeah, you can stand with your eyes closed, open so it doesn't hurt your.
Eyes other than the brightness. Right?
Correct. And your eyes will adjust. So it's actually really good for your eye health. So we have a couple clients who have been legally blind their whole life. Started coming here or starting able to see shadow.
Well, that's pretty cool.
Yeah. So again, all of our need states here are different. We think cryotherapy and it's just athlete based. We have everyone that comes in here for different reasons. And so with that again people who are blind, alopecia, whether that is from stressors in life or medication that they might be taking for some other ailment. We also have people who have severe arthritis come in here daily and use this and they've seen decrease in their pain and inflammation in their joints and able to cut back on some of their medications. Now everyone's different and to what severity your osteoarthritis is, but it does help with that joint health and that speaks.
To probably frequency too. Just to be clear, this isn't like you're not going to do it one time and feel the right thing.
So nothing here is one and done nothing.
So nothing in life should be is one and done really.
But it's creating a lifestyle and all of our services aren't for everyone. And so what do you like to help with your problem and why you came into restore? Another really good thing is kind of more just talking on the superficial side is skin health.
Yeah.
Me personally, I grew up in a beach town in southern Alabama and had tons of sunspots, went to a dermatologist, needed them to be removed, started using this two to three times a week. Week. And now my sunspots are gone.
Oh, that's awesome. Because usually you think about those like IPL getting like burnt off.
Yeah. Like say that again. Okay, you did it. How many? I know everybody's different.
Everyone's different. So I would say for about two months doing this just two to three times a week. And I started noticing a difference like in my chest and my forehead and just all of them just went away. So I know it's like get in there.
Remember she said four inches away from there.
It's four inches.
I'M sure I will say I actually think it's like really first of all illuminating. You look really amazing under the.
You blow.
You totally blow.
It makes us kind of fun for good photo ops. So but you can see the red light obviously and then you on here and then you see the near infrared lights that are off. Some people think they're broken but you visibly can't see it with your eyes. So I truly see it in there and working.
Let's take a picture of Amy in here and put this on the, on our show notes. There you go. So, okay, so skin stuff, which is I think, I mean whether it's teenagers to older people, like psoriasis.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Any, anything. Eczema can be one. A lot of people in this dry climate out here have really bad eczema, so they can come in here. So yeah, any kind of skin related condition is great.
Which also. So to the skin conditions, just to be clear with our listeners too, it doesn't put out any UV rays.
No, no uv. So it's not like the old timey tanning bed. You're not gonna, you know, toast in there with the UV lights not coming out. So you're not coming out with a nice bronze. But it also, you know, to me like of that was, you know, just being able to be warm and that warm sensation is what people like. So they still get that aspect but without the UV light.
It's interesting because there's a, over the years with some psoriasis and stuff like that, there's actually looks like a tanning bed that doctors would prescribe. So you know, some of my patients had them at their house and of course insurance charge was charged a million dollars for it. And then there was basically a time use and so they would have to get a new prescription to have more time added to the thing. But it really helped clear that up. And so I haven't researched exactly that because I'm 90% sure that didn't have UV too. But I'm still wondering if it was more on the infrared spectrum. Right. Because it wasn't red. And so it's just interesting how again like things are supported in a medical thing but like why this has no side effects.
Right.
Or no knowns.
Yeah, no knowns. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Negative side effects. The only thing that people say is if you have tattoos, you might see a slight discoloration will make my tramp stamp go away. Yeah, just take it right away. Just push it. But we've been open a little over a year We've had clients that use this sometimes even daily and that have tattoos and they've never noticed a difference in that. But honestly, sometimes the benefits outweigh.

We have people coming in for joint pain. Muscle pain.
Muscle pain, yes, that hair.
So will my Eyebrows grow longer, then will my receding hairline grow back?
Yes.
So you're receding hairline. Yes. Now, if you have no pattern baldness in your family, and that's genetic. No. Yeah, that won't come back. But if it's something that just over time, you've lost hair. So stress, female stress, thyroid, postpartum, Anything in that situation. Situation.
And again, that's things that people experience too, just to be clear. So this is the great thing about when, you know, you're talking about what people see benefits from, that's what they're saying they see benefits from. So just.
Yes.
Like, keep that, Keep that on that path.
Keep it on the kosher.
Yeah, yeah. But increasing blood flow, which also helps reduce inflammation in your body. A lot of times, inflammation is just stagnant buildup because we don't properly cool down in our workouts or go for hikes and don't stretch afterwards to flush that inflammation out through your body. So if we can increase blood flow in your body, we can push all that bad inflammation out, and this helps aid in that as well, so decreasing your recovery time.
Love it.
Yeah.
Cellular reactivation. So mitochondria, the powerhouse, charging those cells up.
Yep, charging the cell themselves up. So reacts to the light in there and just kind of helps everything going. So makes us feel our younger and better self.
I love it.
Yeah.
So you're really, like, 60, but you look like you're 20, right?
Yeah. We have a lot of modalities that help with that. Not even just this.
Amy, I don't know if you should do that with your shorts.
Trying to get skin exposure.
I won't. I, I, I'll talk about it for a minute, but did you guys ever see that whole thing about, like, sunlight's good for you and the vitamin D deficiency, but your skin, you have to have 80% of your skin exposed for a certain period of time. And then they had the picture of people with their pants off doing, like, half plow.
The whole exposure?
Yeah, the whole exposure. So no longer do you have to get in the sun to do that. And you can lock the door. Do whatever you want.
Whatever you want.
Is that the next thing we're gonna be, like, naked yoga in red light?
We're borderline. I don't know where this is gonna happen. Okay, so give me some more. Give me some more tidbits of yumminess that people come in for. I love that.
Yeah. Mood and mental acuity are two really good things that people find. So sometimes even here in Colorado, Having those long days of winter coming in here and just being exposed to the light can help increase their mood. So a lot of the terms we'll use here is also our sunshine room.
I love it. That's happy.
I'm already feeling good.
Right. And so just coming in here and just the brightness just fills your body, getting everything moving. And so it can really help with that.
That's awesome. You're starting to get a little out of control. I don't know if you should do this on a regular basis.
The lights are fun.
I totally want to like bring in a sparkly suit and dance in here.
There's another business model.
What's a reason, like why would somebody pick red light therapy over cryotherapy or infrared?
Yeah, so one again, our whole goal is, is here is injury prevention and inflammation reduction. But some people time stressors of work and life can be difficult. So choosing this over the infrared sauna, which is a 45 minute treatment session, this is 10 minutes. So just coming here to do that just for those quick 10 minutes. And then with cryotherapy I will say the majority of our clients use cryo. The only reason they don't use cryo is because they're contraindicated. But other than that, we get our clients in there and they fall in love with it. Even though it's sitting at negative 160 degrees, it's apprehensive at first, but once they get in it and know how their body feels afterwards, it's totally worth it. So our red light and cryo actually pair really well together. Again, this doesn't produce a lot of heat acid, but you are getting that warmth into your body. So you're getting that hot and then you're getting the cold from the cryo.
Yeah.
So these pair really well.
But even if they did the so the so red light, again, just to recap, red light therapy, shorter wavelengths were superficial. The near infrared, longer wavelengths, deeper penetration. And then you go up from there to your infrared sauna, which would be longer wavelengths deeper. Yes, but different. But then you know, when we get into to therapies where we're using hot and cold to jump from an infrared to a cryo, you know, after a certain time is fantastic.
It's great.
Right, so that alternating hot, cold plunge kind of theory.
Right. Because we're getting that vasodilation, that vasoconstriction and then back open into that vaso dilation with your body naturally warming itself back up, not artificially through the sauna.
I'm Watching the time, Amy, because you got 30 seconds and then I'm in there.
Yeah.
You're gonna love it.
It's fine.
Get as much exposure as it can without being indecent.
So, like, some of the people that work here, I'm just curious what. What they use it for.
Yeah. So one of our employees was a client of bars for the longest time, and she just dealt with a lot of joint and stiffness. Not to the point of osteoarthritis, but close. And so, you know, just kind of wanting to cure that.
Yeah.
And then I use it. I'm put together.
Do you feel comfortable if I take my shirt off?
Oh, sure. Of course. So you'll just push the time, little button again, push timer, and then run.
Okay.
You do have a tramp stand.
I told you. Jesus.
Call out.
I was winning. So that's why you don't get tattoos when you're 18, by the way, in Missouri.
That's funny. It doesn't look particularly crampy, though.
Well, you know what? That was before the movie came out, when I was termed that. So I was. It's not.
You were ahead of the game.
That was totally awesome. Oh, this feels so good. I love bright lights and heat.
Yeah.
And why?
Yeah, because it makes me happy and feel good, and it actually grounds me, like, in a weird way. Like, so for me to go to a beach, the water's grounding, but, like. Like, I just need it. Like, I go, like. I'm just like one of my dogs. We go out in the backyard and just find a little sunshine spot and hang out for a bit.
Everybody should. Everybody should. Yeah. This is why I haven't quite bought into the. And your shower with the cold on there, everybody. We've talked about this many times on the podcast. I'm like, I just can't do it. I'll jump in a cold pool or the river. I'll do cryotherapy. I'll do all of that. I'll even jump in a cold tub. But I can't end my shower with a hot splash because my shower is, like. I like really, really hot showers.
Yeah.
Same steam and the heat. And I'm not gonna ruin it with a cold shot at the end.
Building a neuroplasticity.
We did. But this is, you know, mindset has to be a choice, and I'm choosing to keep my warm shower, and I will get my cold some other way.
Yeah.
Skiing. Jumping in the snow.
Snow, river. Cryotherapy.
Yes. I love cryotherapy.
Yeah. And to me sometimes too. Like, your shower is your me time. It's a way for you to start your day or end your day. And don't ruin it if you don't have to. Yep.
I can wake up other ways.
Hey, random dot. Do we know, like, about the pulsed electromagnetic field that I just. It totally popped in. I know we weren't. I wasn't prepared to talk about this either. But, you know, every electronic thing has a. You know, I know a lot of them talk about, like I have an infrared sonic in my garage and it, you know, it says on their lowest emf. But there is like a. You know, we don't want to jump into this too much, but do you happen to know.
I don't know.
Well, it's led. LED has to produce very, very low.
I feel like. Low.
Very low. Yes. So.
But I don't know.
I'm really in tune with emfs and I don't feel that much. I'm just kidding.
I feel a lot going through. But no. So go back to your question. Yeah. Employees, myself. I just had back surgery six months. Months ago at four weeks, I was completely healed. Released the full go Just by doing all of the different modalities here. I feel like, helped in that. So. Yeah. A lot of our clients use it for overall wellness or employees.
We're taking pictures now.
This one looks better.
So you had back surgery and you recovered really quickly. Quick. Were you utilizing everything? Mostly one of the other or.
I was primarily utilizing our red light therapy and our mild hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Those two things were kind of my go to's until my incision was clearly healed. I was definitely in cryo. Yeah. So we just don't want open wounds in there. Just like anything.
Well, and that's the whole thing with circulation and forcing oxygen flow. Same thing with the barometric chamber. Right. It's like forcing that oxygen things I.
Was targeting and I limited myself to just those two modalities just to see if there was a difference. And there was, and it was great. We also have two of our employees are the University of Denver women's soccer players. And so they use this place totally for recovery and injury prevention. Even if they're not working, they're in here doing several modalities a day.
I love it.
Yeah.
I'm actually gonna.
Since I'm in here cooking for a little bit, I feel like that's really good. I feel like the information went over was solid. You guys plug some more stuff in. But I want to make sure we save time for you just to give everybody information about your location website. Like how they can find out because.
You guys do a lot of things here in addition, like red light cryotherapy, infrared sauna, barometric chamber, IVs, facials.
Facials? Yes. We have estheticians on staff that do facials, slimming and toning with our cryo skin machine. We have registered nurses on staff as well that run all of our medical services. So IVs, the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and our intermuscular shots and then our hyperbola straps run all the other modalities. So we have a lot here. And so yes, our location is.
Is.
We're located on South Broadway at 2561 South Broadway. Easiest way to schedule appointments is to go online to. But some clients don't know what to book or what order to book things in because they want to try it all. And if that's the case, then definitely just giving us a call. And we are happy to help schedule those appointments for those clients. And our phone number is 720-379-89700.
And I just want to say so far I've met all the staff. First of all, you're very nice.
Thank you.
Tony, the owner's super nice. Really just down to earth knowledgeable guy. And all the other staff. I briefly talked to the, to the nurse practitioner. She seems really. Yeah, really sweet. So everybody here, it's a nice, friendly, friendly environment. Oh, this feels so good. Sorry.
Well, thank you.
It is nice. It really is nice and it's great. You don't. You don't have to close your eyes. You can open your eyes.
Nurturing a little bit.
Yeah, I would totally have like wave sounds. I would so sit in here and meditate and pretend I'm laying on a beach.
I listen to Bob Marley. Yeah.
Yeah.
So got you. What's what you like.
Now?
What.
What do you feel? Okay, you've already told us a couple of really good things. But what do you feel like? There's just been like a wow factor person that came in that you're like, wow. I can't believe that they had that type of response and this was so impressive.
Yeah. So our client who had alopecia and it was from a medication that she was given and Then her work life stressors didn't help that when I first met her, she was completely bald. We've been opening a little over a year and she's been coming to us and again just two to three times a week, not every day. And the last time I saw her, she has a full head of hair and she was able to come off all of her medications that she was taking for that and was just. Yeah. Utilizing our red light.
Can I, Can I say it on. You can cut this out. Should we call Will Smith and Jada?
Oh, boy.
Should we check?
Oh, boy.
Hey, if my kids was. Stop making fun of me for my receded hairline.
If that.
If that would work.
I had one. I tried every serum possible growing up, and now, like, I'm finally starting to get, like, baby hairs coming.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
No. And I'm not picking on people who have alopecia.
Means.
But don't make me for anybody who.
Can'T take a joke. I'm sorry.
Hey, so speaking of contraindicate. So what about photosensitive medication?
Yes.
Okay.
Epilepsy is contraindication because people can be sensitive to the light. But a lot of our clients who had past seizures when they were a child or something, you know, like, oh, can we just try? So we'll put them in here for less time and just see how they respond. And usually I make them be fully dressed when that does happen, just in case we do have to come in here.
But you can have somebody in here with you. And of course there's something, a family member or something.
Yeah, but, yeah, really the only, you know, contraindications are if the client is pregnant and why no one really wants to be a test dummy when they're pregnant. We just don't really have a lot of information.
Cyoa.
Yeah.
Again, the tattoo thing is because some people spend a lot of money on their tattoos and they don't want anything to happen to them, but, you know, up to them.
You've seen how detailed my tramp stamp is, right?
Oh, I haven't seen it. I've only seen the front side of you. And then any. Yeah. Sensitivity to light. Someone who can't stand may have, like, a lot of syncopy issues. So if they can't stand for long periods of time. But if that is the case, again, we can move the panels back, set a chair in here, and they can continue their treatment. Other than than that, anyone can come in all ages as long as there's a parent or guardian. If they're not an adult. And we do have a lot of questions about dogs. If they can come in here and start using it right now. We don't promote having your animals come in here just because again, all of our stuff is tested at our corporate office in Austin, Texas. Shows great things, but until a veterinarian office wants to maybe do some research on that and then maybe we'll give it a go one day, that's pretty neat.
I never thought about that, but I could imagine, especially in Colorado. Yeah.
Plus a lot of people love their dogs more than they do themselves. They'll spend all kinds of money on their dogs.
Worse.
Very true.
And this is nice. Got a little timer count down there.
