A short conversational transcript excerpt from a YouTube video where Tamara explains why she booked a consultation call: she aspires to be a coach, believes coaches must be coached, and sought out a confidence coach via a Facebook community. The speaker and Tamara discuss the decision-making process of calling a stranger for coaching.
So talk to me about the decision to actually get on a consultation call with me. Right. Because there's one thing to know that your love life is maybe not where you want it to be. There's another kind of decision making process to actually get on the phone with someone, a stranger, and talk about it. Right. Were you nervous what was going on in your head?
I continue to have this idea that I want to be a coach.
And not necessarily knowing how to tap into it, but one thing I learned was in order to be a coach, you have to be coached. And so I. So I was in this community with all of these people. Half of the thing, half of the people in there happen to be coaches. And so I was like, all right, you need confidence. And so let's try to find a confidence coach. And so I literally, in the Facebook group, went through all of the self made Sundays and was like, confidence coach just to see who would pop up. Because in order for someone to pop the hoops, in order for someone to actually put a post, they were confident enough in their business or their idea. And so. So I looked that up in the very first. Well, I don't even know if you were the very first person to pop up. People are giving like 15, 20 minutes. No one does an hour. So I just like, let's see what's up. And the rest is history.
