There are hundreds of business decisions being made every single day by people in desks all around the place and in countries all around the world. The real power of data is if we can take that great analysis that one person has done and give it to everybody all around the world and let them personalize it and adapt it, suddenly you've got data being used in all these little decisions every single day. BBC Worldwide are really investing in ways we can bring data together and tell stories from data and empower people around the business to make decisions using data. Lots of our shows reach more than 200 countries. It's an immense challenge to analyze things country by country when each country is very different, has very different needs, and very different audiences. We've got all this research on different genres people are consuming all around the world, but it's stuck in PowerPoint slides that you can't tweak and adapt and edit and refine. And with Riser, we're building this system to help us to understand for each genre, for each country, for each type of audience, whether it's a Netflix audience or a pay TV audience, exactly the genres that they're interested at the moment, exactly how that's evolving and exactly what that means in terms of the shows that we're investing in and prioritizing. With Riser, we're empowering a lot more people in the. In a lot more divisions and in a lot more countries to get their hands on and to make use of data in a way that makes sense for them day to day. Every decision we make could be that bit better. So we could invest in better content, we could market our shows better to the better audiences, we could reach out to the better partners to broadcast our shows. We could help our shows to be a lot more successful. So every step along the way, if we're smarter and more evidence driven, our shows and our content is going to be a lot more successful in the world.
