Choosing to do and not perfect made me rich

This is a YouTube video titled "Choosing to do and not perfect made me rich" from May 2024, featuring a monologue-style personal reflection by the creator on the importance of taking imperfect action over perfectionism in achieving financial success. The speaker shares their journey from early failures in real estate wholesaling to making significant income through YouTube and business ventures, emphasizing persistence, humility, and learning from failure. The content is motivational and aimed at encouraging viewers to take risks and keep trying to achieve wealth and freedom.
People dumber than you are making millions of dollars because they value taking action over learning and trying to have perfect action. They value imperfect massive action over trying to be perfect. And let me also present you guys with this as well. Perfectionism is just procrastination wrapped up in a pretty box. And so the reason why you're not where you want to be and you see these other people getting rich like me and a lot of my friends is because we are fucking idiots. And because we're idiots, we just take action. We don't, we don't really think too much. We don't feel like we need to have all the, all the ducks in a line before we do something. We don't need to know everything. I remember watching this one video of this guy that was really smart. He dude runs like 100 million dollar companies and shit. And inside the video that I saw from him is he broke down the, the process of how much education do you need to take action? And the way that he created it was like, he called it, I think like the 3070 rule or something like that. And so the 3070 rule states that you want to make a decision in the range or you want to take action and move in the range between 30% information knowledge and 70%. Because if it's less than 30%, then you're just a complete idiot. You're somebody that's taking action way too soon without enough substance or without enough information versus if you become too informed and you acquire too much information. But a lot of times too much time has passed and you're too late to jump in or the opportunity just isn't as good as it used to be anymore. And so you want to find that range of like 30 to 70%. You want to get just educated enough without having to know too much information. And so you want to kind of ask yourself like, like how do we apply this? So you want to ask yourself, where do you want to go? So if you're like me, you wanted to get rich, you want to get hot girls, you wanted to drive nice cars, you wanted to travel the world, you wanted to have lots of friends that were successful in the world, then what you need to do is you need to find something. The first thing that you can find where you get just enough information that you know that it's a good opportunity, but not too much information to where you talk yourself out of it or it's just too late at that point. So you want to find something that aligns, like if those are your goals that I just listed, you want to find something that, you know is a vehicle that can get you there, and then someone that is able to show you that vehicle to get you there. And so for me, at first, it was real estate wholesaling. So I saw real estate wholesaling. I was like, oh, this looks good. You know, it seemed like a lot of people that were getting into it were seeing results. I saw a lot of skeptics. But then I also saw a lot of people winning. So I was like, okay, you know, I could keep researching this. I could keep trying to, you know, think about it, or I could just take action. And so I chose taking action. I just was like, okay, cool. I'm gonna be a idiot. I'm gonna go decide. I'm gonna go learn. And I went and did it, and I failed. I think I spent, like, a thousand bucks trying to put up bandit signs. If you watch some other videos, I talked about it. I put these bandit signs up everywhere, and I ended up getting nowhere with it, except maybe a couple of mean phone calls and some people that are interested in buying houses when I find them. And then from there, then I decided I was like, you know what? I'm gonna go find somebody that already knows what they're talking about. I scoured the Internet. I found this, like, podcast. They had, like, over and over again, they kept saying, this person made money, this person made money, this person made money. And they just kept interviewing these people that had their, like, first success with their, you know, flipping a house or whatever. And so I was like, okay, cool, this seems good enough. Give my money, started doing it. I think after like, two, three months, I met some other people in the. In the group. Started kind of. I was young. I was trying to find people that were more experienced, that they're already in there, help me find deals. They kind of walked me through the process. So I did the work. They kind of consulted me, helped me out. And then after, like, two, three months, I actually flipped a house and I made $8,000. This isn't a business model that I do anymore. I went on to go make 60 or 70,000, and then that led me over to YouTube, and I discovered YouTube. And honestly, my opinion, if I were to get started, probably start with YouTube now at this point, just knowing what I know. But then I started doing YouTube, and, you know, I didn't know anything about it. I knew just enough, but I knew I knew just enough that there was money to be made and that there was people that were seeing results with it. And so, time and time again, in my own personal life, I found something that was gonna give me closer to my goals, that was gonna give me rich as fuck. You know, that's what I. What. What I thought rich as fuck was, which was, you know, fucking pennies. It's like 20 grand a month. I was like, yeah, I'm gonna be rich as fuck. That's what it was to me. You know, now me, I think rich as fuck. I'm like, dude, you're not rich as fuck until you're making, like, $3 million a month. Five million, $10 million a month, $20 million a month. Okay, maybe then you can start saying, like, our merchants f. But it was, like, a lot different. I was broke at the time. I didn't know much. And so for me, as soon as I found something that was gonna get me to this thing, I was a complete dumbass. I was an idiot. You know, I was ignorant. I was 19 years old. I would just do whatever it was that I could find to take action on. And I just found someone that had the information. I ran with it, and I failed. And then I found someone else, added information. I ran with it, and I failed, and then I found someone else with the information. I ran with it, and I succeeded. And that's what it was. You know, I didn't have success, like, the first time and go around the second time go around, but I. I stepped, kind of believing in the vision. I didn't let these kind of, like, obstacles in my way get in my way. I knew that if I just kept doing it, I would see the success, and I was a dumb person. And, you know, I just didn't have a lot of life experience. I didn't know anything. But I knew that if I just kept trying, I would inevitably, eventually have success. So I was like, very low IQ in the sense of, like, I didn't know how business worked. I didn't know how any of these things worked. I didn't have any life experience, really, but I knew that I didn't want the life experience that everybody else had it. I knew that I didn't want to have to go drive in traffic and commute to work all day. I didn't want to have to, you know, go kiss some ass and play office politics to be able to work my way up the ladder. I didn't want to have to take only two weeks of vacation a year. I wanted to take every other week. I wanted to go wherever the fuck I wanted, whenever I wanted and take whatever vacation I wanted. That's what I wanted. I knew I wanted that. So I didn't have life experience, but I also didn't want life experience from everybody that was around me. I grew up seeing all these people go get some job and working their way up the ladder and then getting pay raise after pay raise over the span of a couple decades until eventually they were able to buy a nice house in a nice place, drive a Range Rover or whatever, go on cool trips, you know, once a year, twice a year. And I didn't want that. That sounded lame. I thought that was the most loser life I could ever live. And I wanted nothing to do with any of that. And I knew day one, as soon as I started to see that this is the way that everybody was going to like that my life was headed, I realized I did not want that. So out of my, you know, inability, my. On my own intelligence, I was like, I don't want that, but I want something else. And so I believed because I was so stupid at the time that I could become rich and that if I kept showing up and if I kept trying and if I kept taking the risk, I would eventually become rich. I was so stupid. I was so dumb. And because of my dumbness and because of my, you know, my inability of having life experience, I went and did the things. I went and tried and tried and tried. And I knocked on the door and I kept knocking on the door. I thought the door was open. I thought I was so stupid that I think. I thought that if I kept knocking and I kept trying to bang on the door that the door would open and it would be as if like 10 doors were lined up. All me and 10 other people, none other people were all knocking the door. Everyone else gives up. They're just like, okay, yeah, I knocked once. They didn't open. All right? Some people, they're just like, I see all these people knocking. It doesn't even make sense. I don't even think there's anything on the other side of the door. For me, I was the dumbass that just kept knocking and knocking until everyone left. I kept knocking for days, for weeks, for months until it opened up. Door actually opened because of my inability to recognize what the status quo is and what the norm is and me not accepting that I wanted to have this normal ass life allowed the door of life to open and of riches and success because I kept knocking. And that's when I discovered real estate. That's when I discovered YouTube. That's when I discovered doing business and Having fun. And then I started meeting a bunch of other people that just kept knocking over dumbasses until that they eventually succeeded. And that's why I got rich, as in my 20s. You know, I'm 25 now. I do $300,000 a month. My goal is to get to where I'm doing a million dollars a month. And I will do that here in the next, you know, if it's not in the next year, I will do that in the next few years. And I will keep knocking until, you know, until my. Until I can do that. Like, I just have such a, you know, like such a ignorance in life, or I'm so dumb that I just think. I think I can make a million dollars a month because I'm so stupid. And that stupidity is what got me in all these rooms. The stupidity is what got me off the fence. And that stupidity is what made me drop out of college. And so here's the thing. As I know you watching this video, and I'm obviously some of this is kind of just having fun and telling stories and stuff as I'm really good at and really good with. And some of you watching this video, you know, you. You really want it. I know that you want it because you're watching this video and you listen to this dumb kid that became a millionaire, like, after nine, ten minutes so far. You're watching this video. I know you want it. And so here's the thing is it's not gonna be some microwavable success. It's not gonna be like, here's the instructions, and then you just freaking push the buttons on the microwave and then you get rich. It's not. None of that. It's not how it works. I. You know, like, I. When you find the right people, there is instructions and you follow it. But for you, you know, you're blind. You don't know what you don't know. And hopefully I'm like, trying to make it so you can actually read the instructions and know exactly what to do. But how it's gonna work is you're gonna go try something, it's probably gonna fail. You're probably gonna go try something again, it's probably gonna fail again. You may fail 50 times, 60 times, but I bet you that if you keep trying after like, 100 businesses, which I doubt it even needs, 100 businesses after, like, 10, you know, maybe a few. Maybe if you're doing YouTube, like, maybe after like, three, five channels, maybe 10, because you just really suck, I guarantee you that you will see success I know for a fact that you will consistently get better. I know that you will learn along the way and I know that you will figure out a way to, to get rich. But the issue is, is most people, they give up too soon. They think that if as soon as they hit their first note, oh, you know, they upload their first video, gets 10 views, oh, I wasn't meant to be a millionaire. I, I can't get rich. It's only reserved for the select few. YouTube's too saturated. Business is too saturated. I'm not lucky. I, I could never do that. You know, like all these people, you know, they, they, they got lucky. Like they were there at the right time. It's too late for me and I was never, you know, I can't get rich. Most people think that way. Question is, are you going to think that way? Are you going to let these things, these walls that you run into, these obstacles, are you going to be so short sighted and because you're so smart, because you know everything, are you gonna let that get in the way? Are you gonna let that ego, are you gonna let your lack of humility get in the way of you living life that you want? And I'll tell you, I will sit in room sometimes or I will sit, I will eat at a restaurant, hanging out with my beautiful girlfriend, you know, having the best meal, enjoying the time of our lives, listening because you know, it's like you don't have to be that rich to be able to go to restaurants all the time. Like I remember I was in Colorado, I was eating dinner with my girlfriend. I just hear this guy fucking yap, yap, yapping like right behind me about how, you know, he's like, oh yeah, I'm hot. Like he wasn't saying like he's hot, but he was acting like he was hot. And they were like, oh my gosh, like how much do you make? Or whatever. He's like, he doesn't even, People don't ask him how much he makes. But he was saying he's like, yeah, you know, I make like I make $200,000 a year, but I could be making like half a million dollars a year if I didn't have such a, you know, such a bad like input like co worker. Like I would be making way more money if he wasn't here. But yeah, because he's here. I can only make this much money and, but yeah, like I can go like, you know, I went, I went to Aspen last year and that was, you know, cool. Like I Can do it. I could do whatever I want. Like, I drive like, an Audi A5. And yeah, I'm like, Like, I. Yeah, I could make way more money, but I just, I, you know, I don't. I don't really want to make more money. Like, shut the up, dude. I remember listening to this guy. Like, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about, like, that type of money. I'm talking about, you want to get, like, actually rich. You want to, like, do whatever the fuck you want. You want to, like, you know, money doesn't even matter. Like, you don't even have to tell people how much we make, because it just doesn't even matter to you. You know, I have to tell you guys how much I make just because I needed you guys to. To give you guys some credibility and some authority here. So you guys shut the up and you listen. But other than that, like, I, like, if I. If I run into people randomly in person, like, I ain't saying shit. Like, I don't care. Like, I just do whatever the hell that I want. And if you want that sort of money, you want to be able to, like, do the things that you want. You want to, like, have real freedom. You want to just go buy stuff because you want to buy stuff, you know, because your inner child wants to buy. You want to buy that supercar, that $100,000 car that you think is, like, so cool. You got posters of it on your wall, and you want to be able to, like, live that lifestyle. Then what you need to do is figure out what the you want. Think about when you're 16, what are all the things that you wanted? What are the things that you, you know, when you're 16, before you had life get pressed down on you, before you were forced, shoved into some box and told that you need to live life a certain way. Before any of that, what were the things? When you're like 4, 14, 15, 16, before all that stuff happened, when you had all these dreams still and nobody told you, you know, before you got suppressed of, like, your mind and what you believe and, like, what you really want in life, before all that stuff over, the things that you want, write it all down. Now ask yourself, what are the things? Find something, some business, some person, somebody, somebody that can help you go get all of these things. Just shut up, Turn your brain off. Go do what they say to do. Reevaluate after six months, after a year, Work your ass off for the next year or two and just do the work. Do what they say to do. It's not necessarily about working harder. I will guarantee you I barely fucking work in comparison of, like, what, how people used to get rich a century ago. Literally just hang out on my computer. That ain't shit. It's not like I'm like, actually freaking running a marathon or something. It's like I literally just. Yeah, I'm grinding, bro. And I'm like, freaking just on my computer, like, typing shit for 10 hours a day. Like, you know, that's not. It's not real work. It's not like you have, like. It's not like you're actually, you know, doing physical labor or anything like that. It's like, it's easiest. It's easy as fuck. People do sales these days. It's like do zoom calls and shit. Door to door, going to people's houses, make like that. That shit's hard. Like, doing a zoom call, that's like nothing. But I bet you if you do the thing six months, a year, two years, you just keep showing up, you keep doing the thing, you will be one of those dumb people that becomes millionaire because you. You just. You're so dumb. You're so disconnected from society. You just don't realize things and you just keep trying stuff. If you just keep trying stuff, dude, you will. You'll get. You'll get rich. I don't know a single person that just kept trying for five years and isn't rich as I know, like, 20 years ago is different. Like, you hear people, like, some of these legends that are like, I look up to other people. Look up to. You probably look up to that are, you know, older, that are 40s, 50s, that are making, you know, tens of millions of dollars a month. It took them like, 10 years to get rich. Like, it wasn't. There wasn't the opportunities that we have today. For me, it took, like, I think three years, two years before I started, like, seeing some, like, real money. Like, you know, when I say real money, like 10, 20 grand months. Like, it took a lot of these guys like, 10 years before they ever sold money like that. But now, because of the Internet, because of YouTube, because of social media, because of, like, e commerce, stuff like Shopify, because of, you know, the distribution we have these days, as long as you have a freaking iPhone is insane. Like, none of this stuff was even existed. Like, 20 years ago. There's even more stuff coming out. You got like, AI, you got like, all this new technology. You got like, like VR, you got crypto. Like, none of this stuff existed. Even that stuff didn't even really exist. Like more than like seven years ago, five years ago, two years ago. It's crazy. So if you want to be one of those dumb millionaires, just figure out what the hell you need to do. Go take action. Quit overthinking. Quit trying to be so smart. You're not that smart, dude. If you, if you're not rich, then you. Okay, maybe you understand book smart better, but it's not the same as like money money smart and risk smart and taking action smart and living a full ass life smart. So what are you gonna do about it? What are you gonna do about this video? What are you gonna do? I hope you take action. I hope you become a millionaire after watching this video. Seriously. That's my goal. I hope one person out of the hundred thousand people that are going to watch this video, I hope one person takes this and they get rich with it. That's all I ask.
