Guide on Becoming Certain: A Powerful and Necessary Skill

A speaker shares how to build certainty and confidence through personal experience. He covers his own struggles with insecurity and setbacks, then offers practical exercises to develop resilience and stronger decision-making skills.
You must become more certain in this world to get what you want. If you have a goal of being able to do some pretty incredible things in this life and maybe it's just, you know, you want to at least just achieve freedom so you don't have to go work for someone else and slave away and become, you know, somebody else's product. And to become your own product, to finally unlock the chains in life, to be able to live your own life, you need to become more certain in who you are and certainty in the direction that you are going. Have you ever met somebody that's certain? Have you ever met somebody that's. They seem like they have life figured out. They seem like they know exactly what they're working on. They seem like they know exactly where they're going. And everything kind of seems to bend to who they are and like what they are trying to do and everything kind of goes their way. Well, you see, the thing is, is that they have developed this ability of having certainty. And so inside of this video, I'm going to kind of go through and give you the tools of certainty. So that way you can become more confident. So that way you can become more driven, you can have people around you want to be inside a part of your life because you know who you are, and they want to ride along on the train of this development of who you are. And they. They know that you're going somewhere. You see, for me, I grew up as somebody that didn't have a lot of friends. I went in school. When I was in school, I. I kind of stuck out. I didn't. I had a tough time. Like, I. I had a lot of insecurity. I have, you know, the insecurity controlled my life. And it really kind of ate me alive inside. And I knew that there was a version of myself that was capable of so much more. And I kept asking myself, why every single day. Why was I not this person? And it really wasn't until that I developed certainty and confidence that really unlocked, you know, a whole new area in my life and kind of really unlocked, you know, personal fulfillment and personal happiness. Because it sucked every day. Like, I didn't want to get out of bed. I would lay in bed, I would sit there and I would scroll through my phone because I would just. That just seemed better to play those stupid games on my phone to. To play whatever, you know, those tycoon games or whatever it was. And I would just. I had no purpose of going on with my day because they were just. It was easier to kind of live in a fictitious world of watching Netflix or playing these games than it was to actually go and confront life. And it wasn't until, you know, I had a breakup in my life with a girlfriend. I think, you know, it takes sometimes some. Some big, huge transition or some big thing to happen in our life to. To realize that we need change, we need something to happen. And it was the breakup of, you know, I was in a relationship for four years with my girlfriend at the time. And after we broke up, I realized that I had gotten too comfortable. I had lost my direction, I had lost my drive. And that was what, you know, was attractive to me in the first place. And, you know, I had become selfish by being too comfortable and not having any. Any certainty. And I became very, very insecure. My insecurities started to kind of be put onto others around me, and no one wanted to be friends with me. No one wanted to be surrounded by me. And I felt very isolated and alone, and. And I was always looking for a key to this. And it wasn't until I read a book by Mark Manson called the Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck. And when I read this book, I would go to the gym, I would play it on audible, and I would just listen to it while I was working out every single day. I think I read through this book three or four times, and it was the principles inside of there of, you know, not giving a fuck about everything besides what it is, the direction that we're going or the direction that we're heading that, you know, really was able to start giving me the certainty and this confidence in who I am and what is it that I do need to give a fuck about and what I do need to care about and what is not worth caring about, what is not worth giving a fuck about. And so here's the thing is, with certainty, the world bends to you. When you know what it is that you want, when you know exactly what you want in life. You know, we talk about manifestation. Sometimes you hear about that. But when you know what it is that you are destined to be and what it is that you know that you are here on this planet for, then the world starts to bend around you. And so inside of this video, I want to give you guys the tools that I had to unlock, to unlock certainty, and with certainty, a lot. Then came a lot of my real results. That's how now you see me at this. At this day and age, I make over $300,000 a month. And it's because I was Certain that I was destined to be this person that was able to have success, I became certain that I was able, I was capable of becoming someone of success. And so if I were to review the definition of certainty, it is that it refers to the state of being sure or confident about something without any doubt. In the context of personal development and decision making and viewpoints, coupled with a clear. In the context of personal development and decision making, it implies having a strong belief in one's decisions, capabilities and viewpoints, coupled with a clear understanding of facts and situations. This level of assurance is crucial for making decisive choices, acting confidently, and projecting confidence in interactions with others, which can greatly influence both personal and professional outcomes. And so this is a quick, you know, definition I just got from chat GPT while I was recording this video. And you know, if we break that down is, you know, not having any doubt. And so part of it for me was it was a little bit of like, you know, at first you have confidence, which is like, becomes like a little bit of a delusion. Being confident that you can do something, but being confident that you can get the sale, being confident that you can make a video and get a lot of views with it. And you know, part of it is, it's just besides knowing, you know, having that, you know, uncertainty, you're confident that you can make it work, you're confident that you can bet on yourself, you're confident that you can go all in on yourself and knowing that you will figure things out, out. And there's a little bit of delusion there. And then after doing having this delusion for enough and taking action and getting real results, that is what breeds certainty. It is the, it is the delusion, taking action on the delusion. And then after you take action on the delusion, it is building this track record so that now that you have this track record, you are certain that you as a person are consistently able to get results. For me, you know, I have reached rock bottom multiple, multiple times inside of my life. As in like, I ran out of money or, you know, lost relationships or whatever it may be. But I started to build a track record of after going through all these things, I started to develop a certainty that I will always figure it out. And it was, you know, after the first time, I lost everything, I was like, I was very uncertain, but I was confident. I was confident in myself. And like I said, part of it, a lot of it was delusion. And eventually that delusion of just, you know, feeling like I deserve to do these things and I deserve to be able to make money. I deserve to get rich if I did the actions and put in the efforts to, to change myself. It's. I've been using this quote a lot lately, but it's the Charlie Munger quote of the world is not a crazy enough place to reward a bunch of undeserving people. Now that is to, that isn't to say that you can't have confidence in the direction that you're going in your life. And inevitably, as you apply that confidence to the scenes and the scenarios that you enter that you start to develop a track record of getting results. And a lot of me making $300,000 a month is that compounding of that delusion and taking action and building that track record over time, over years, I started to build this certainty of who I am. And this certainty is why you're watching this video right now, is because I'm certain in the, in where I am right now like that I have gotten to this place. I'm certain that I got here because I did the work, I did the hard work and I, I did what it took to be here. And so for you, what that consists of is to take action on that confidence, to become confident, to become delusional. And then as we take on that delusion, we can slowly start to become certain. And how it starts to work is as you start to build a certainty, then everything starts to move around you. We start to feel like, you know, we start to build this, this character of ourselves, this self image. And as we develop this self image of ourselves, it starts to play out into the real world. It's like eventually our thoughts become reality. It's the whole saying of, you know, I'm a millionaire and I just haven't been paid yet. And that's how I started to be. I started to develop this mindset that I was a millionaire, I just hadn't been paid yet. I started to study millionaires and I started to study how they walk, study how they talk. And I started, like I asked, I realized that if I started acting like those people, then inevitably I will get the same results. And that is something I'm always constantly doing for the next stages of where I'm going is who is where I want to be, what is it that they do, what are the things that, and attributes of them and what are the habits and what are the activities that they do that allows them to be so successful. And if I just act like them every single day, I have certainty that I will get a very similar result. To them because I am acting in the same fashion and the same order as they are. So that brings me over into my next point is like, what are the benefits of being certain is when you're certain you're able to make better decisions. You're able to have a decision that you have to make in front of you and you're able to make the decision and move forward knowing with certainty that you are either going to A get a result of this or B, you're going to acquire an experience and you're becoming a more well rounded or a more well stacked or a more skilled person out after taking this decision and you as a, you know, it becomes instead of oh, I don't know what I want from dinner and instead having certainty that you know, I'm going to go eat here and if it's a bad decision, okay, I won't go there next time or I will do a different approach. You know, one thing that I found in my relationships is in the past was I wasn't certain and were confident in where I would go for dinner or whatever. But you know, the thing about women is they hate uncertainty, they hate lack of making decisions. And you'll never have a great relationship with a woman if you can never make a decision. So for me it was, this is what I'm doing, this is where we're going, let's do this. And if they didn't like it, okay, cool, let's maybe discuss other options or whatever. But if you do the, you know, the typical response for most relationships or most guys is like, oh, what do you want for dinner, baby? You know, and when you do it that way, you're, you know, set. Like that is not what women want, that is not what the world wants, that's not what the universe wants. They want you to have certainty in what it is that you want. And if you, even if it's the wrong decision, it's better to make a decision and to be certain on that this is what we're doing and being willing to adjust than to not make a decision and being open to like the world being decided for you. And so you'll become a better decision maker as you develop the certainty and also vice versa. The, the better you are making decisions, the more of a certain of a person that you become. Also this increases your resilience. And so when you eat shit, you fail is it helps you realize that failure is actually a lesson in disguise and failure is something that is a necessity for growth and to becoming a more valuable person. In this world. And so becoming more certain allows you to become more resilient against setbacks and failures. Regardless of what's going on. For me, I failed so many times, up and down, left and right. And through all these failures, through all these setbacks, it has developed me into becoming a more certain person. Because I've gone through so many different things now at this point that I'm like, okay, I'm certain that this is the right way to go because I have been in this position before. I made the wrong decision. And that certainty has allowed me to become a stronger person. You have two options when you have a failure setback. Either you can go, you know, cry about it and go, you know, lay in bed for weeks or months and not do anything about it, which is sadly what most people do. Or you can realize, okay, cool, I learned not to do this thing or to do things this way and to become a better person out of it. And so the certain person is going to have more failures and setbacks, but also with all those failures and setbacks, they're going to become a more successful person because they have experienced more life. You know, at this point now, me being 25, I have probably experienced more life than the average 40 year old has. And the reason being is because I have probably had more setbacks and more failures and, and done things wrong more than anybody else. And that has made me a more certain person. I Talked to some 40 year olds and you know, some of them, they're just gigantic pussies. They just are afraid of making decisions like they're just not certain in life. You know, they're wondering why their lives are so shit. And it's just, you know, a lot of them have just skipped out on so much experience and so much life because they have lacked the certainty. And that also brings me over to better leadership. You know, the people that get what they want are the ones that are great leaders. They're people that are on the front lines helping lead through the process of whatever it is that they're building. For me to get to hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, I had to become a better decision maker. I had to become somebody that was a significantly more effective at leadership. I had to become somebody worth following. And in that process of developing the certainty of this is the mission, this is the direction that we are going, we are going to impact a million people. We're going to help people build faceless YouTube channels and we're going to make more, more, more people more successful than ever before with faceless YouTube channels and YouTube and making their first money online. And my certainty in that has helped develop a bunch of people that want to get behind that mission. And so as you become more certain, you're able to lead people stronger, they're able to have something to, that is worthwhile to get behind to finally, you know, for them to pour all of themselves into because you're so certain about your mission. This is think about any sort of leader, think about let's say Alexander the Great or any sort of leader in time. Like I was watching the movie about Napoleon and this guy was so certain in, in himself winning wars is that he built this, this tribe of hundreds of thousands of people that were willing to do whatever it took to win the war. And a little bit of his, you know, kind of like his emotional setbacks kind of set him to make some of the wrong decisions. But he was one of the best war like one of the best leaders in war of all time. And it was because he was so certain in the things that he was doing and because of the like, because of, he was so certain in himself in the direction of the country of France that people were willing to do whatever it took and risk their entire lives to be able to be in support of this guy and everything that he was doing. And so certainty develops decision making. So certainty develops resilience. Certainty helps you become a better leader. And so the barriers to most people when it comes to certainty is they doubt themselves. Most people doubt their ability to make a decision. Maybe they made a wrong decision. And our education system, it treats failure as wrong. And if anything, you know, we, we lose growth, we lose improvement because we're afraid to fail. We get beat up, we get, we get beat down emotionally and physically for not getting good grades in school. If we fail, then we're a loser. And so it puts people into like a, you know, kind of like in a survival mode and they doubt their ability to try new things and they just take the safe route so then they don't get in trouble. It's just kind of like the programming that we get all set with majority of us in the schooling system. And so you have to understand that this self doubt is, doesn't serve you. It doesn't, it doesn't serve the person that you're trying to become. And if you're certain you, you're gonna, you're going to, you know, besides your doubt, besides your, besides your uncertainty and things, you're going to be able to make the, make decisions and you're Able to adjust rather than just not making any decision, not putting yourself out there for risk in the first place. The people that are the most successful and the people that are the most rich are the ones that are risk adverse. They're the or not risk averse, they're the ones that take on the most risk. And the people that take on the most risk and bet on themselves are the people that, that get the furthest in life. And as they bet on themselves more, it compounds into, they become more confident, they become more certain and they become a greater decision maker and so on and so forth. It compounds into becoming better at what they do. And then also another thing that holds people back is the fear of failure and the fear that, you know, what if I make the wrong decision? And yes, that is maybe a little bit valid, what if you make the wrong decision? But also what happens if you don't make the decision at all. And so the decision like to not make a decision is a decision at the end of the day. So if you are not making decisions and you're building these things up, it starts to build a pressure. Typically when I go in my life and I find that like I feel scared, I feel kind of like contracted, like I feel like it's hard for me to make any progress and life feels morbid or you know, just it like have just a lack of motivation. And typically it's because I build up a lot of these inabilities of making decisions and my lack of my certainty really holds, it really holds me back. And it, and it, it bury it like builds a barricade in a wall for me, even myself. And so what I had to realize is that just make a, making a decision saying yes or no or this is what we're going to do typically will breed momentum and movement. And when you're moving, you can pivot, you can make different decisions, you can always transform the direction of things. But when you have no inertia, when you have no momentum, when you have no energy, then it cuts off all opportunities that are even possible out there because you have eliminated all of these off your plate because you have no momentum. And the best way to create momentum is to have certainty and to start building momentum and to start creating this energy, this movement. You know, it's physics, it's, you know, they have the potential energy, they have kinetic energy. And you know, it's developing these movement forces in life. This energy and this energy that we curate allows us to do incredible things. You look at any leader, you look at anybody that's successful like Elon Musk or Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos or, you know, any of these people that have massive success, Andrew Tate, they, they create lots of momentum and lots of movement in their lives. And the way that they develop that is they are certain in themselves. They start with themselves. They have certainty in who they are. And as they have certainty in who they are, it starts to have contagious effects to everybody around them and everyone that consumes their content or consumes them or is around them. They are bought into the same beliefs because they have so much conviction in who they are and so much conviction in the direction that they have. Another thing, that another barrier people have is they overthink things. You know, the analysis by paralysis, as they say, is, you know, their overthinking can cloud the judgment and prevent decision, action or decisive action. And so, you know, most people, they overthink, they're like, oh, like, what if this, you know, like, oh, what if I do this and then this happens? Oh, what if, what if, what if this, like what if I go wrong or whatever have you. And then it just, it builds up this, this pent up energy that just goes nowhere and it leads to depression and anxiety and, and all of these, these emotions that aren't positive. And so these are all valid. I've had, I faced all of these. But the one thing that cured this was to just make the decision and to become a more certain person. So what are the principles to develop certainty? And first of all, you know, I want to stress the importance of thorough preparation and continuous learning as the foundations for certainty. And so the thing is, you're watching this video, so props to you, Good job. You're acquiring knowledge, you're learning things, you're becoming a more certain person by learning and watching content and applying yourself and developing this knowledge. But knowledge is ineffective if you don't take action. So what you want to do is have a combination of doing this and then taking, taking action on things. So what I want you to do to help you like a little exercise real quick to become more certain is first of all, I want you to write down something to do. It could be something minute, it could be something like doing the dishes or doing the laundry or going on a walk or going to the gym. And I want you to, whatever it is, I want you to pick one thing today, let's say go to the gym or go on a walk. And what you'll do is just, that's it. As long as you do that one thing today that's all that matters. So after this video, go on a walk. Or maybe if you're on your phone, just start going on a walk right now. And you going and doing that thing, saying, hey, I'm gonna do this thing, and going and doing it. Being a person of your word and going and taking action on this is developing you into being a certain person. And I want you to do that every day. At first, just do one thing a day. If you just do this one thing, that's all that matters. Even if it's not that big. You know, I think most of us were like, oh, we need to go run a marathon today or something. We need. It's something extreme. No, instead, let's just go on a walk. Let's go on a short run. Let's go to the gym. Pick one thing at first, and let's start there. And then every day, let's start compounding it. Okay, let's. We go in on a walk for 10 minutes. Okay, let's go on a walk for 12 minutes. It doesn't have to be anything that much crazier. And it's just, you know, okay, I did 3,000 steps yesterday. I'm gonna try to hit 4,000 steps today. And slowly kind of moving that marker and slowly increasing like what it is that we're doing. So then we can develop this, this. This process of us becoming a more certain person. For me, it was, you know, sometimes just put my shoes on, go to the gym some days that's, you know, that was kind of what I had to do to develop that certainty. Some days it's like I just gotta hit record, record a video. As long as I do that, you know, I made some progress. I said I was gonna do it, I'm gonna do it. And developing this as who we are. And as you slowly start to start to apply the certainty, have applied certainty, it starts to become realized certainty. And you will become a more certain person. So pick something. Another thing you could do is. Another thing you can do is just consistently practice this. So do it every day. Something little, something small. And something that maybe help you as well is develop accountability. You know, if you're watching this video, maybe drop. How about this? No, drop a comment on this video. Say what you're going to do today. If it's going to be go on a walk, write it down in the comments. So that way you have a bunch of other people pulling you accountable. And then I want everybody that's watching this go down in the comments, ask that person if they Went on a walk or whatever it was that they said they were going to do. If it was going to, you know, make 10 sales calls, if it was to, you know, write a script for a video, whatever it is, write it down in the comments and then check back in later today, write down that you got it done. Otherwise, you know, other people watching this video reach out to a person, see if they're accountable, but you can't see if someone else did it if you didn't drop a comment yourself for what you're going to do. So everybody drop a comment, what you're gonna do. Second of all, respond to somebody's comment, say, did you get this done? If it's been a couple hours, and then you come back later today as well and drop a comment saying that you got it done, if you got it done. And so this accountability kind of starts to build a feedback loop. Feel free to do it, you know, consistently or, you know, maybe find, like, a support circle or a group. Maybe there's some people in the comments, Reach out to them, maybe create a little circle or something like that, and, you know, let's try to do it every single day. My biggest growth when I got to my first $30,000 a month is I created a group of a bunch of people that were building YouTube channels. We were like, all in this Reddit niche back in the day, and we were all holding each other accountable, and we were all pushing each other to like, hey, we're going to do this. And then we're like, how did that test go? How did it go? Like, what was the result that I got? And it was kind of like this, this feedback loop that started to get built with everybody, like, oh, how did this thing go? How's the account? Like, you know, we kind of all started holding each other accountable. And so that little bit of, like, that accountability helped develop us all into certain people knowing that what we were doing was the right thing. And as we put in more work, it developed more certainty. Another thing you can always do is hire mentors or coaches to help develop that certainty. There's something about when I've paid people $10,000 to tell me what to do, even though sometimes it wasn't anything necessarily new in these calls, it was something about someone told me exactly what to do, and it gave me certainty, and that was the right direction to go. And that is me telling you in this video, certainty of going, go on a walk, say you're going to do something, set a goal, go do the thing. Write down that you did it and developing the skill set. Same with like, you know, whenever I've tried to learn how to make money, first online with real estate and then YouTube and then building my info business and getting to hundreds of thousands a month, I would hire coaches that just told me exactly what to do. I would go do it. I would report back to them, tell them how it went, they would give me the next thing from their experience of coaching so many other people. And so go hire a coach, create an accountability group, have self accountability and these things over time, these habits and these rituals will turn you into a more certain person. And so what you're looking for is certainty. What you're looking for is confidence. What you're looking for is direction in life and deciding where you're going, even if it's the wrong direction, making a decision, practicing that progress every single day. And as you start to make a little bit of progress every day, it starts to snowball and it starts to compound into you becoming a more progress driven person to be more productive and to make a lot more direction. So certainty is what you're looking for. That's what I got, guys.
