How I removed my limiting beliefs, now I make $300k a month

A speaker shares how mindset shifts, journaling, and self-awareness helped him overcome beliefs that held him back from earning $300k a month. He focuses on the specific limiting beliefs around money and success that most people carry without noticing.
In this video I'm going to talk about how I overcame my limiting beliefs and how you can as well or some of the methodologies that I figured out to doing it. And maybe you can take what I give you inside of this video and it'll on the downside, change your life. On the upside, it'll change everybody else's lives around it. So my goal inside of these videos is to brainwash you guys to becoming successful or rich or fit, living your dream life, being able to do whatever you want. So right now I'm out driving in the middle of California on a road, road trip because I could, because I overcame my limiting beliefs. This is probably the most important skill set that you can learn when it comes to becoming successful in business and making money easily. Because as soon as you overcome your beliefs that hold you back, life becomes easy. Because you operate out of a place of abundance. You operate out of a place of already having. And when you come from a place of already having, it doesn't mean anything to you to have more money because you have no need for it. And so then money attracts towards you, you become magnetic. Not just a financial aspect, but like societally, you know, we're programmed to believe that, you know, we need to have friends and people around us that support us and this prestige and all this stuff and to be a cool person in society. And so when you do this and when you overcome these things and we become this person, all that stuff comes with it. You know, how to get a degree. You don't have, be some crazy extraordinary person. You just follow what I'm going to talk about inside of this video, let go of some of these beliefs that hold you back, and life will be completely, significantly easier. So I remember very vividly when I went and I, I met this, like, I always wanted a mentor to help me out and I, I met this guy, I met this, I've had a little bit of some success business at this point. I mean, I met this guy and I went, talked with him, or I was speaking with him and we were talking about opportunity, he was talking about my business and kind of the things that I'm doing. I remember very vividly he asked me, oh, why don't you just. I was selling my business, I wanted to go from making whatever $30,000 a month to making over a hundred thousand dollars a month. I knew that's what I wanted, what my goal was. So he asked me about my business, like, oh, what about this going on? Like, you know, like, oh, how are you making Money now, how can you make more money? And I remember very vividly, I said, oh, that's not possible, or I can't. And as soon as I said that, he kind of looked at me with disgust. Right after, he was like, oh, you could just do this. Then he kind of gave me the answer of what I needed to do. I said, no, that's not possible. He looked at me as if I just was a crazy person. I just walked away. The guy never talked to me ever again. I thought this guy was gonna be my mentor. He changed my life and helped me do all these things, but he literally gave me the answer. And what did I do? I said, no, that's not the answer. He's like, okay, this guy's not listening to me. This guy operates out of the. Out of the lack of abundance. He says that he wants to make more money, but he doesn't act like he wants to make more money or, like, wants to do more of his life. And I remember very vividly that I realized that I was, in my own way, the answers were very clear right in front of me. But I was too. Maybe ignorant is the best word, but, like, maybe my ego was too strong. And I was so, so convicted in the way that I saw things. And I had tried everything out, and I already did that. It is not possible. And when I started doing that, like, me doing that without speaking it verbally, I didn't realize I was getting in my own ways. It was with my limiting beliefs talking. And it wasn't until I had somebody that I very respected that was making way more money than me, that was doing way more in life, that was far more successful for him to literally give me the answer to the problem that I was looking for. And as soon as I stop listening, like, I. I showed to him that I didn't respect his answer or I didn't care what he had, and I was limiting myself from it, he just walked away. And then, like, I was out of my life. So then I realized that there it was in broad daylight, limiting beliefs. And so that's probably what you're facing right now. It may be on a different scale. It may be on a different caliber. Maybe you're one of those people that's trying to go to 100 grand a month, or maybe you're one of those people trying to make your first $10,000 a month. But we all face these beliefs at different levels and varying levels in our lives, and we have to overcome it. And I'm going to talk with you Guys, through here, the solution that I have for you. So one of the things that I came to the realization was like, our beliefs around money are the things that kind of depicts how much money that we make. So, like, show me your beliefs and kind of hang out with me and I'll tell you exactly how much you make typically, or I can tell you if you're on the downhill and on the decline or if you're ascending and if you're going to be making more money in the near future. And simp, by the way that you talk, the way that you perceive things and like the subconscious language that you have that whether you realize it or not is being had, that conversation is being had and whether or not you know it, you are having it. And so one of the ways that I realized it was by talking to people that were far, much further ahead of me, that were growing and in a, in a state of growth, in a state of, you know, doing way more than me and had a lot of more experience based off of their reaction and their body language towards me, based off of the things I would say was an instant feedback, almost like a tuning fork as to what my beliefs were and the way that I saw the world. If I ever said anything and it kind of like scared people away, I knew that I had something intrinsically. I was like, okay, this is, you know, whatever I just said there was important. So I got tape that I play over and over again. It's like that I get that feedback, that reaction. It's almost as if, like I just hit a golf ball and the golf ball goes 300 yards or maybe it fades to the left or it draws to the right. I know that what I just did with my swing impacted that hit. And so just the same as, like when I talk to people that are farther ahead of me and how they react to things is a quick response to like, the thoughts and the beliefs that I have. Another way that you could do it, another tool that I've seen that be really helpful is just to write your thoughts down on paper and then develop this metacognition, this ability to look at the way that you view the world and the way that you see the world. So then you could break down, like, so you could actually see from a third party perspective what are your thoughts. So a good tool for this or a good exercise is to get a journal. You guys can do that, right? After watching this video, get a journal, write down your thoughts for honestly, I found like, the more that you do it, the, the better you can kind of see it and kind of get through the, through the fluffy at the beginning. Write down, go sit down for like 45 minutes and just write down everything that you think, all of your thoughts. Write down the way that you see the world, the way you think of the world, the, your future, what that looks like. And, and then what you can start seeing is what's in there. One thing to notice is what are the things that limit you that, that make things feel limited, like limited resources like money make, or I can't do that or that's hard or that's difficult or I am not capable of doing so, or like these I am statements or these things that are depictions of the environment that aren't based in reality and aren't based on data. Like, to say that like right now we live in like a bad economy that you can't make any money in is a limiting belief. Is there real data to back that up? They may have. So, and there's some ways you can point it out, but that doesn't mean there's not a great economy in Zimbabwe. There's great economies all over the world. There's also poor economies all over the world. So there's always money out there. And so you're not limited with the Internet. You're not limited to just your area. So anytime they start to see that like, oh, because the economy is bad, I'm this whatever. Because whoever is in pr, like whatever, whoever is president right now, I, I can't make more money or it's like it's hard for that or because of like, you know, this thing going on in the economy or these jobs. Those are all limiting beliefs. I'm just kind of pointing them out for you guys at least you know what they are. And what I will say is if you have a ton of limiting belief, I don't want to hang out with it. Nothing wrong with that. Like, I just, I don't know who you are and I'm not going to spend time with you because they can be contagious sometimes if you're not very strong willed. And so you'll see that when you talk to people that are of success. So if you feel like you're scaring everybody away or like nobody wants to share anything or nobody wants to give away the information, it's probably because they just don't want to give the information away to you. You're probably one of those people that they don't want to give the information away to because. Not because it's like oh, they got to hoard that they have to keep it secret or something like that. But because they just don't want to spend time with you, they don't want to give you that information. You make them feel poor hanging out with you and how you make them feel poor is your limiting beliefs. And so I don't want to feel poor, I don't want to feel broke. So I'm not going to hang out with people that have limiting beliefs. I had to understand what those were and then I had to stay as far away as I possibly could from them or acknowledge them and be like, okay, yeah, that's not me. And not a ti. Like not associating those things to myself. So another way, I mean, the real thing is just like it's developing this metacognition, this ability, when I say that it's a fancy word for this ability to look at yourself through a third party perspective or a third party lens. That's why I like recording these videos and I watch it back. I'm able to learn a lot about myself. That's why journaling helps out a lot. And so it's just anything that kind of limits the thing. So it's like, oh, there's like, there's only like so many trees in the world that's limiting. If anything that like sounds like, okay, there's less of these things out there is a limiting belief. And so the more that you understand that there are limiting beliefs and how to stay away from them and then as soon as you start having loot tube list like it is for me, I still have them sometimes to this day where I'm just like, oh, I'm not good enough or I'm not capable of doing this, or is it really me that's able to do this or am I really that? Like, am I, am I really who I say I am? And sometimes it gets to my head and then I have to realize that what's going on in my life, what are my circumstances, what are the, what's going on? If I had good sleep, have I taken care of myself, have I got to the gym? And you know, where is the state of my mental health? And so for me, as somebody that's been really successful, it's, it's a constant recognition of where my emotions are, where are my beliefs at, what are the words, what are the things that I say to myself? And then constantly managing that. And the better that you become at managing your mindset and the better you become at managing your beliefs, the more efficient that you will be at making money. And the easier that money will come, then the more that you'll be able to connect with people that are way significantly further ahead of you by being able to just understand this simple concept. And so gonna get over against the traffic here. But there's this book by Richard Dawkins. It's called the Selfish Gene. There's one thing that inside the entire book, it's towards the end of it that I pulled away that was really important to me, which is the difference of human beings versus any other animal in the world. And why we're far superior. And the dominant species in life the way it is today is because we have this unique talent and a special ability that none of the other ones do. Every other animal out there in the animal kingdom is instinctual. They live based off of their instincts or their habits or these, you know, these rituals that are built with them and this processes their programming versus humans. They are able to take a step outside and reflect on their circumstances. They're able to look at themselves in a third party perspective and think about their thoughts. That is our special ability and that is why we're able to build the Burj Khalifa. To being able to have wars, to being able to have politics, to educational systems. Everything that you see is why we're able to go build cars and automobiles. Everything that we are able to see is due to our ability as human beings to think of things in a third party perspective instead of just purely being instinctual and being controlled by food or whatever it is. And so that's your talent. And that's what I'm here talking about. When I say limiting beliefs. That's what I'm talking about. Beliefs are the things that control your behaviors and control your habits and are the things that make you the way that you are. Because I will give you like I've seen this very often with like coaching so many people and helping so many people become rich over the past whatever six, seven years now is. I will give two people the same exact information. One person on like, I'll take, I'll give the same exact information step by step. Hey, here's how to make a hundred thousand dollars. I will give the same information to two different people. And there's one variable that is completely different. And the person that takes that information and goes and makes 100 grand or goes makes a million dollars versus the person I give that information and they don't do jack shit with it. That one difference between the two people is the way that is Their worldview is their beliefs. It's their way that they see things is, do they believe in themselves? Do they believe in me? Do they believe the processes? And then the other aspect of it is, like, do they value the destination that they were going towards? That's why I'm very convinced most people just want to be broke. Like, I know that's a very bold claim to make, but most people want to be broke. They choose to be broke. Whether they actively, physically say, I, Sarah, am going to be. I want to be broke, then I don't think people say, like, people don't do it that way, but they are choosing to be broke because of the way that they allow for themselves to perceive the world. Now, obviously, you don't know what you don't know. You don't know the beliefs that you have until you start to pay attention to the beliefs that you had. And then what the ego does is it tries to get comfortable and it tries to get safe. And then as soon as you're like, okay, yeah, I start to see this beliefs, they start to do it, but then they, like, we hold on to, we let go of. We will challenge all of the beliefs that we have, except for the ones that we hold closest and dearest to us. And those are the ones you got to watch out for. Those are the ones that you are like, no, no, no, we don't need to talk about those ones. We don't need to touch those thoughts or those beliefs or those processes or those programming that we have. We don't need to worry about those. But all these other ones, you know, like, okay, yeah, I'll let go of. I don't need to have, you know, avocado toast isn't that good. Now I can change my belief. Okay, cool. Like, avocado toast is good, but there's parts of your brain where you don't challenge, you know, do I need to eat breakfast every single day? You know, like, there's beliefs that we hold, which, by the way, I believe, like, breakfast was the thing that was programmed into our brains just 100 years ago. So, like, for other. Since the dawn of talk healing to be eating breakfast. It's a marketing campaign. It's a belief that we were handed to by the programming of a marketer that wanted to sell more food and get more food into the. Into the hands of Americans and people in this world. And so you have to ask yourself, how badly do you want to be where you're going? Because that'll allow for yourself to overcome the beliefs so how badly do you want to become rich? How badly do you want to make $30,000 a month? My mind talking to girls, traveling, the friends, any of that stuff, get to $30,000 a month as soon as you possibly can, as soon as you humanly can. Because $30,000 a month unlocks freedom. It unlocks choice. It unlocks the ability to be whoever you want to be and not. Not have to send your kids to school to become gay or whatever. Where I think they just passed a law in California now where you can't, like, they, they can't disclose to parents if a kid's going, like, wanting to switch genders now or something like that. They made it, like, illegal, but they made it so they don't have to disclose the parents while they're teaching in school anymore, which is crazy. So if you're just cool with that, just putting yourself into whatever that box is and you have no idea what's going on inside, once the day, leave your home all day and just allowing for the state to decide what's. What's going to happen to your children, Cool. Go for it. Get off this video. Like, leave. This isn't for you. But if you're somebody who wants to have, like, full control of your future, because I feel like we're in a place now where our freedoms are being taken away from us on a weekly basis. Now at this point, it seems like then you need to make more money. You need to go and do something. Like, you need to do something about it. You need to get to $30,000 a month at least. Just get the 30 grand. I'm not saying you need to make more than that. I'm not saying you need to become, you know, Jeff Bezos and just obsess about things and have to go through multiple divorces or anything. I'm just saying get to $30,000 a month, sacrifice a couple of sprint seasons. In this channel, I've talked about deep work, talk about doing spreads. I'll talk about doing these things for periods of time where you just work really intensely and really hardcore for, you know, 90 days. Instead of like three, five years, just do it for 90 days. Like go on 90 day sprints and all these 90 day sprints. You just obsess about becoming better, acquiring new skills of building a business, building cash flow income, developing passive income streams, of becoming this person that is able to have freedom. I'm not saying you have to commit to this for 30 years. Literally, just go on a couple of sprint sessions, a couple tee work Sessions over the next year or two, you're going to be set for the rest of your life. Go all in on doing that. So then you have the ability and the freedom to do whatever you want. So a couple other things on limiting beliefs. One of the things with that's helped me with limiting beliefs is if you just open your eyes, like, this is one of the best steps. Just like write it down, like next to right underneath journaling or, you know, whatever, or talking to people. Third step number three is just open your eyes, look around. Like, I'm driving right now. If you just like look at cars and you just add it up about what the original like sell value of the car was, it adds up really quickly. I like, let's say, okay, like, look at, look outside. Okay, so this truck, that was probably 30 grand. Stop real quick traffic. So a couple cars, it's another 60 grand. A GNC, that's like 50 grand. It actually like looking at, if you do the math, if you look at what would it be five times 10? So be up to just 40, 50 cars. You just saw a million dollars drive by you. Every 50 cars. Have you ever done the map? Every 50 cars that you see is a million dollars. So at any given moment of just looking outside for 10 minutes, you just saw a million dollars. Especially like an RV, that's like 100 grand right there. Maybe 70 grand for that one. That one was a not as crazy one. Or like a track. Like a. Just like probably each one of these little concrete blocks is probably like 10 grand. But you just do the math. Like, look around you. There is money all around. Each tree here is probably like. Each one of these trees is probably like three grand a piece to five grand a piece to $10,000. A pizza. Like a palm tree. I think they go for like $30,000, $50,000 on palm trees. I'm not a botanist or anything like that, so don't, don't quote me on this. This. But just look around. There's so much money around you. He's saying that you can't make like five grand a month. Like, literally, we're just seeing millions of dollars just out the window, just all around you at all times, especially if you drive in a city. Like right now, I'm in the middle of like nowhere. I mean, this land is probably worth like millions of dollars. But if you look at the building, like each individual building, especially if you're in a city, you just look at the buildings each, like, like, especially here, each house is a million dollars to like on like a million dollars. Here is like, like a freaking shack. If you have like most of the houses are $3 million, $5 million and they're just everywhere. For you to not be able to make money, it's your own fault. It's a skill issue. You suck at making money. You just suck. You suck right now and that's why you're, you aren't able to do anything in life and you don't have freedoms. It's because you just suck. You're not good. Now you can get better once you, once you admit that you suck, it's cool because then you can realize that you suck and what, you suck at that and you can get better. But most people, they hold so dearly and tightly on, oh, I got, I'm this extravagant person, you know, and they hold on to their past. They're like, this one time I won a sports game when I was in high school. Who gives a. Who cares? You gotta focus on the now, in the future and in the future. The future is infinite. There's so many opportunities. There's gonna be some crazy discoveries in the future. Like we're gonna find out that like aliens exist or something. Or, you know, we're gonna go to the moon and we're gonna go to Mars and we're gonna do all these cool things. Like there's so much potential in the future, there's so much untapped potential. And the question is, are you going to tap into the untapped potential which kind of gets a little bit woohoo there, or are you just gonna allow like the previous programming that you've had for the past like decade dictate who you are gonna be for the rest of your life? You get to choose. You get to choose. Like do you allow your past self to dictate your future, or are you going to allow your future self and the potential opportunities that are in front of you and the person that you can become, the skill sets you can acquire and the experience that's out there and the information that's out there and to get as close to that information as possible, to learn as much as you possibly can and just do whatever is in front of you so you can do whatever the you want for your entire life. See now the thing is, is just, do you value that? Do you value being comfortable living your same exact life life for the next 40 years until you die and just go live in freaking, you'll be a gravestone amongst all the gravestones, or do you want to actually be something in your life and do something with your life. If you want to be the person that's comfortable and doesn't do anything in the life, get off this channel. Unsubscribe, never watch me again. Say, not interested. I don't want you watching my videos. But if you're somebody that wants to do something with their life, if you're somebody that wants more out of life and you're watching this, which I'm assuming if you got to this point, you have left it after me telling you to get off, then I think you value that a little bit. If you do, you gotta start watching these beliefs. You gotta start taking note in the way that you perceive the world. You gotta start paying attention to things. The first step is recognizing your beliefs. It's not getting upset about it. Don't get pissed off or anything like, oh, I'm a piece of or anything like that. I can never be rich or whatever. There you go. There's a limiting belief sign. But instead of that, you want to just start recognizing the way that you perceive the world. Start writing it down. Just watch the first six months, the first year, the first couple years, you're gonna suck because you're gonna realize how much you suck. It becomes painful. You start to realize, dang is like, is there more than I suck at? Yep, there is. There's probably way more that you suck at that you don't realize. But as soon as you realize your skill level and where you actually are and that realizing that you have a six figure salary doesn't mean jack shit in this world and that you're pretty much next to broke, if you're making a $200,000 a year in this world and you just are real with yourself, then you're able to get better. Now you were able to recognize, okay, cool, I'm not hot just because I got a cool degree at some fancy school and I got, you know, I got this prestigious job isn't jack. You can't buy anything in this world making $200,000 a year, $300,000 a year, you're broke. You're broke with that much money. And as soon as you realize that, that instead of trying to be like think you're cool as now you can get better. Now you can go make 300 grand long if you want to. Now you can realize your deficiencies and your skill sets and you can realize, you can learn that you can do so much more through life and you could be so much more, you could be the an actual parent to your kids and not be the jackass that was never there for them growing up. You can be the. You could be the person that's inspirational to every person that you interact with and every person that you meet and change people's lives. It's more than just you. Who gives a about you. You're just some random person. But what matters is everybody around you. It's selfish. It's selfish to just think you're cool making a hundred thousand dollars, $200,000 a year, $300,000 a year. You're selfish. You could do so much more for this world and you know it. You know you're selfish. All because you just are comfortable with being comfortable. And you'll hold on to these beliefs, never give them up up. That's selfish. Do you want to be like on like on your gravestone written on there selfish person. Never gave to anywhere. Was a black hole to be around was boring as was lame. No one wanted to be around them. They made 100 grand a year. They made $200,000 a year. They're selfish. How do you fix being selfish? Figure out those limiting beliefs. That's what I got. See you guys all in the next one.
