Your social circle shapes your future. The speaker argues that surrounding yourself with wealthy and motivated people changes your mindset and success odds, while isolation and the wrong company hold you back.
Your environment controls everything. If you're surrounded by a bunch of people that smoke weed all day, work a nine to five job, getting paid five grand a month, and they just go live in the middle of nowhere, you're going to be the same exact person. They're taking two weeks of paid time off a year. You're going to be just like them. There's no if, ands or buts about it. They're fat, they're lazy, they smoke weed. You're probably going to be the same. Show me your friends. I'll show you your future. And so if you want to be rich, if you want to be wealthy, you have to be okay with isolation. You have to be okay with being by yourself. You have to be okay with doing everything on your own for a period of time. You know, they say it's lonely at the top. I think that's the most bullshit I have. The more friends now that I'm making more money than ever before than before. They're all other rich people.
