Watch me share what being a millionaire is like so you can become one too

A millionaire reflects on growing up modest, working multiple jobs, and reaching significant monthly income. The video covers what wealth actually feels like beyond the money, the challenges that come with it, and the gap between fantasy and reality.
Get rich. You're probably trying to make a ton of money. You want to be rich because you know that it's going to, like, unlock freaking rainbows and sunshine in your life and you can finally not feel the pressure and all the weight just collapsing down onto you and feel all the pressure that you have right now. And so in this video, I'm going to articulate what it's been like making millions of dollars in my 20s and. And what it actually feels like to be rich for a few reasons. Part of it, so that way you guys start, I can give you my frequency where I'm at right now and. And just hand it over to you so you can feel that way as well. For the other part of it, I want to kind of express the raw reality of what it means to actually be rich and making a ton of money. My circumstances. I grew up in a really healthy household. I grew up in a healthy childhood. I didn't have a father that disowned me. I didn't get, like, any of these really awful things that some people grow up with. And so I can tell you from my perspective, and then I can tell you from, like, stories that I hear of what it means to actually get really rich from, like, other people's lives and what might that be for you specifically? But like I said, I'll tell you my circumstances, what it was like for me to get really rich. And before I start, I will say for the people, I may look rich now, I may, like, have all these things. I did not grow rich. I. It pisses me off in the comments, genuinely. Like, not a lot of things piss me off, but one thing that pisses me off a lot in these comments is when people say, oh, you came from daddy's money or family's money or anything like that. My family was not rich. They never, like, had a ton of money growing up. Genuinely. Like, we, like, we lived in a trailer. We live in a trailer on a farm. There was cows outside. I would freaking. Like, I grew up in, like, I had a healthy household. I had that. I will say that. Like, I. I had those things. But I didn't grow up financially rich. And I wouldn't say my parents are financially rich right now either. Like, I would say my family's doing a lot better now. I've never had, like, in my, like, outside of once I left high school and college, never had financial support. My parents, they maybe gave me some lessons and some ideas and advice and love, but I was never handed money. I was always had to work for everything that I had and I had to become this person through myself. So I just have to say that because A, I want to inspire you guys that you guys can do it too. And then B, like all the people that are saying like you just like earn all this, like you just were handed all his money. So want to make things abundantly clear. As I started to get more rich and I get more famous from doing all this content stuff and, and blowing up on everything that you're going to see me over the probably the next couple years, I'm just saying that now for the core audience of you guys watching these videos, I, I, I love you guys and I just, just want you guys know like, I, like I did all this myself. Okay? So with that being said, with that part off the table, what getting rich AF actually feels like, and I wouldn't say like I'm freaking Bugatti buying anything like that yet. I own a 2017AMG GT. I've had multiple cars at a certain point, I have traveled to 10 countries, I wear expensive clothes and I have one expensive watch. My goal is to buy a bunch more. But business kind of needs cash flow too for business right now. So you'll see some of that stuff later with that as well. I have great relationship, girlfriend. I live in a beautiful home, as you guys can see is my backyard. And I have, I would say, get enriched AF for the average person's mind. I've made anywhere from like 100 to $300,000 a month for just about a year now. I've had my first hundred thousand dollar a month three years ago. I've been making over ten thousand dollars a month for about six years since 2019. So like I've had ten thousand dollars a month since 2018, but consistently making over ten thousand dollars a month since 2019. So whatever that maths out do, you guys can do the math. So at least like what is that, like five years. So with that being said, I've been rich for a pretty long time. I'm 25 now, so I've been rich since I was like 2019 or 20. And with that I've just, I'm going to be rich for the rest of my life. And I'll kind of explain what that looks like. I have worked jobs, I have worked warehouse jobs, I've made like $10 an hour, $8 an hour. I've had many minimum wage jobs. It was all typically under the table, like as in like they were with friends or family and I'd do it for like a season, like a few months or something. I was never officially like W2. I was kind of probably more independent contractor, but treated like a W2 employee. There's enough to like, you know, have all of the financial stuff with it. So with that being said, I have worked a lot of different jobs and I had to become this person that you see today through pain and suffering, through failure, through having big ambitions, being a very ambitious person, being a high risk taking person, and of just becoming somebody who is of value and of worth. And so with that being said, being rich is really nice, but it's not what you think it is. Being rich is cool because I would say, like, when I first felt rich was when I was able to go to the gas station and not have to worry about how much gas costs anymore. I just knew it was like, whatever, $50, $100, 200. I don't know how much gas cost. Genuinely. I think it's like 100 to fill my tank. 150. But with that being said, like, I didn't look at the gas prices. As soon as I quit looking at gas prices and that became unrelatable to me, I felt rich. Honestly, like, that was the coolest thing ever. I didn't have to worry about, oh, leaving the lights on in the house. I didn't have to worry about going to the grocery store and buying things. When I started being rich, I didn't have to go to the ramen section anymore. I go to the grocery store and be like, ooh, that looks cool. I'm gonna buy that. Oh, that looks cool. I'm gonna grab that. Like, I'm excited to try all this stuff. That's when I started feeling rich was when I could go to the grocery store and I could spend a couple hundred dollars on groceries and not have to think about it. I didn't have to think about what this cost. I didn't have to think about what I had to do to make the money to do this thing. That's when I started feeling abundant. Then it started to be, you know, oh, I don't have to really think about what the cost of a plane ticket is. And a lot of times I don't have to really think the cost of like a first class ticket. Unless there's sometimes where it's like 20 grand. I'm like, I kind of weigh that. Like, I don't see the value in spending 20 grand for first class. Sometimes I'll still buy the 300 ticket. Just, yeah, I don't know but with that being said, you know, I can fly first class a lot and I travel to beautiful luxurious hotels. I stay at beautiful Airbnbs. I've been to all these different countries and a lot of times I'm not necessarily looking at the price tag of things. And that feels so freaking nice. I don't have to think about these things. I can drive my supercar and not have to think about the price of buying new tires. I don't have to think about the price of an oil change. I don't have to think about all these things that typically just like, are distraught to people. Like, I can't believe I just traded 10 hours to buy a freaking appetizer at this restaurant. Like, you know, being able to not have that mindset is incredible. It's awesome. I don't have to go think about clocking into a job. I don't have to do any of those things. And that like just that just relief that like let go of pressure. Like, I don't like, I stress in business, but I don't like stress in the way that most people do. I stress because I want to be a high achiever. I want to do incredible things. And I do apply as self imposed an insane amount of stress and pressure to myself. But I can go outside, I look at my beautiful backyard or I go on a walk or I go to the beach and I'm like, life is good. Like life is not that serious. It's not that big of a deal. And just that like relief, being able to be at a higher version of myself on a very regular basis feels good. And knowing that I can like talk to somebody or make a video like this to you. And in these videos I can transform people's lives. That makes me feel more rich than having financial wealth a lot of times as well. Like, I just like the, the ability to know that if I just show up and I make content and I do it for the sake of you, watching this video and knowing that that changes your life. It empowers me and it makes me feel great. It makes me feel amazing knowing that I'm helping so many people overcome so many limiting beliefs and change their mindset. And I get to share this person that I am now and this version of myself that I am now. And so with that being said, here's what it doesn't feel like you, you think like, it's like when you feel like you think you're like getting rich, it's like okay material things like going to the club hopping bottles going on trips and lavish vacations all the time. Yes, you do do those things. But I will say is once you start to be able to have those things and do those things, they're like little freaking. It's like eating a cake is the best way I can explain it for you. If you go eat a bite of a cake, does it taste good? Yeah, it's delicious. It tastes really good. You know, cake is good. How do you feel after eating that cake? It's pretty short lived. You have to keep eating more cake. But if you keep eating more cake, you get fat and you get lazy and lethargic and you know, you have all these health implications if you eat too much cake. They have like freaking shows on these people that are like 500 pounds. And because they ate too much cake, they indulged in too much in that cake. And you see that with rich people as well and how it works with their souls is like they indulge in the material things. And it's okay to get material, like indulge in material things and to do these things sometimes and to have physical things kind of be a representation of the person that you've become. But when it becomes an overindulgence, it just, it's just like, okay, yeah, I've had that cake, I've had that cake. It's just, it just becomes cake. Like, it's cool and all, but it's like just cake. It's not like an actual, you know, an actual cool thing. And so with that, you start to realize that material things aren't like all what is cracked out to be material things are purely just a representation of the person that we have become. In at least like in a healthy manner. It's like, okay, cool. Like, I think like someone like Andrew Tate, dude buys like 50 supercars more so because he can. And it's like every time he's operating in a new one, he's able to be like, damn, I can't believe I used to eat McDonald's cheeseburgers because that's all I could afford and used to live this shitty life and like next to home, basically almost homeless. And that comparison to him is tremendously valuable. And he constantly is consistently working for that. And myself, like, I'm constantly working to become a greater version of myself because it's fun and it's just like the process of becoming the person to reach greater heights and to be in bigger rooms is the fun part. That's the part that's cool. And being able to, I think like, once you Become rich. If you have a good mindset and you have a good like idea on life and a good intentions, it then becomes about more about wow, I can't believe I've come so far at this point. I can't believe I've done this. And I can't believe but it's like, it's incredible that I've done this. It's like it like I broke the freaking, the the world of physics. I, I broke reality. For me that happened. Like I have to be reminded, like I get reminded daily of the person that I've become and it feels great. I'm talking to somebody, I'm like this guy's rich as and he's talking like we're friends. That's cool. Like my friend just bottom of Clarence. Oh wow, that's cool. Like I freaking hang out with this dude all the time. That's awesome. I go and travel to places all over the world and I meet friends out there that are also did cool and had to become cool person and have incredible stories. And I'm like this person's fucking talking to me. Like I'll be like in the middle of a conversation with somebody sometimes and I'll be like, am I really having a conversation with this person now? You guys are gonna like meet me in person or hang out with me? Like Devin, what the fuck is like Devin thinking right now? But no, I'll be like, wow, this is like I can't believe I'm having a conversation with this person. Like I like reflect on the now in the moment and I'm like this is incredible. This is so cool. Like that I get to like I'm able to add to this person's life when if anything like they're somebody that impresses me. Like I remember reading my meeting Robert Herjavec and I'm like, this guy wants to fucking talk to me. Like that was so incredible to me and like meeting billionaires or like talking to Lisa Bilyeu or like talking to the people that I look up to that are making a shit ton of money and just being like wow, this person. Like I can have a conversation with this person and, and knowing that I'm like providing value to them, I'm you know, part of the experience or whatever. And I'll also be in other circumstances too where I'll be in a room or I'll be in places and they'll be like, oh, that's like so and so over there. I don't know who the anybody is, to be honest. With you. Unless it's like, in my industry, I don't know who is a celebrity. I don't know people's names. I don't know celebrities that much. I'm not someone that's necessarily trying to capitalize on these people. So I have no really to give about it. I'll be at places, they'll be like, oh, like, Patrick Mahomes is here or something. I'm like, cool. I don't know. I just expect people like, like, like that to be there. And I, like, I just assume that I am in places consistently now at this point. At this point, that I'm just always surrounded by cool people. Like, I just. It's inevitable. Like, I just. I just assume that everybody I'm talking to, like, probably owns a Ferrari or can afford a Ferrari. When you live in these places, it's just like, it's like, so what. You know, and that. That becomes. This is what I'm like articulating for you guys, what it means, like, what it feels like to be rich af. And so it's you. You think it's this thing where it's like everyone just freaking applauds you, just thinks you're the. They only do if you're a big fish in a small pond. If you're a big fish in a small pond, your dick's gonna probably feel like it's 10 times the size and you're gonna feel cool as. But then you go to a real city, like a Los Angeles or like a Dubai or a Miami or like any of these places with real wealth, or you go to like a Scottsdale or like just any Beverly Hills. Like, you go to rich places, you have anything that's expensive. It doesn't really impress people. It gets you into rooms. It gets. It allows you to like, be normalized in places sometimes. And sometimes just dressing down just. It feels just as wealthy and as rich as dressing up in a lot of places. Because, you know, you can dress down in these places. You're probably more rich than the. The people that are wearing all the Gucci and like, all the dumb. And so with that being said, it's just like when you get rich and you move to a rich place, life just feels normal. You're constantly reminded that there's a lot of money out there. That's one part that impressed me when I started to become rich, because I grew up in a small town, mind you. I grew up in a farm town. Like, I lived in a trailer. My parents lost everything I saw. Like, we had Nothing like having like a thousand dollars was a lot of money. Like, like I didn't know what designer clothes was. Having an Audi was cool. Like, that was wealth. That meant you were rich. A Ferrari was just freaking like you were God tier. But regardless, with that being said, like, once you move into these bigger places, into these more expensive cities, you're like, oh, there's millions of people that are like making tons of money. I think there's a statistic, there's like half a million people that have an ultra high net worth. That means they have a net worth of over $30 million or more. So you start to realize just rich people are everywhere, celebrities are everywhere. A lot of times you honestly don't want to be a celebrity. It's like, better to just be like, less known and just make a ton of money than it is to be the famous person. But you start to realize that it's like not all it's cracked out to be. At least when you're in the trenches and you're not really like, like when you don't have money, it feels like you're missing out on everything. When you don't have money, you feel like you have. You're like, you're missing out on the cool kids club. Like, you're not a part of the club. But then when you have money, you're just like, oh, yeah, it's like, it's normal. An analogy for, for this that I have was in high school. I was a part of two crowds. I was a part of the cool kids crowd. And then I was a part of like, the nerdy crowd. I was both. I was like in like a nerd. I ended up going to college for computer science. Huge nerd. And so I was kind of cool about with like the cool kids. And then with the nerds, I was like friends with them and they thought I was cool. But when it came to like, the nerdy kids in high school, in hindsight, I, you know, I have a way different perspective now. But in the moment, I was like, ah, it's not that cool. Like, I'm friends with everybody in the, like, the nerds. Like, I'm in these, like, I talk about freaking physics class homework and stuff like that. And it was just pretty normal. Like, I was just like, yeah, talking about physics homework and that. Like, and I always want to be like, part of the cool kids or whatever. I was like, oh, yeah, that's what it is. That's what I'm missing out on. Reality flipped the nerds. Me talking about physics homework. Just that being a normal life, like that's just like, yeah, whatever about it. That's how it is about being rich. When you actually get rich, you're just like, yeah, we're talking about physics homework. Nothing cool, nothing exciting, I think really. All that, like, interesting that you're really missing out on. And that thing that, that physics homework that we're talking about is the same as like you driving a Ferrari or talking about money. You're like, you know, meeting so and so or meeting some rich person or successful person. It's just such a normalized activity. It is something that is like so normal to these people that it doesn't has no actual like meaning or, or value to it anymore other than the fact that it's just like, it's just like a, a requirement of entry into the world is you have to be in physics class, you have to have money. It's just. Yeah, it's just, it's the same thing. So what it, what I will say to the person watching this video is I would rather have rich people problems over poor people problems any day of the week. Poor people problems suck. People are just shitty. Like I was like, people are shitty. Like, it's just, it's low vibes, low vibrations. Just like people are, people are douchebags. You don't get like good treatment unless you live in like a good place. Like I live in a farm town. But it's just like, then you're kind of dealing with other problems. You know, you have like alcohol, like, I don't know, it's just like, yeah, I don't know. Like I like you have these in both, both situations, rich and poor. But being poor, it's like, I would rather be rich any day. I'd rather deal with those problems of what do I do with my money? Like, how do I make more money? Like, how do I deal with the stress and responsibility of like all these other people's lives that I'm in charge of versus, you know, not being able to pay rent, not being able to indulge in life and not doing anything and not really maximizing myself and trying to become the most high value, high stack person that I can possibly become. Having no money sucked, honestly. But being rich is way more valuable. But what I will say is problems are still problems. Like you still see people with daddy's issues. You sell people with like they have like freaking. They weren't given any love as a child and they just like are buying extravagant things just to try to fill a void inside of their soul and their heart. And they can never find it through those things. And you're just gonna go find those people that are over there. But what I will say is the people that are on the mission, that are self made that like go and try to like buy these things as like an accomplishment and, and to become a great, like to, to show themselves that they're, they are capable of things that they thought were impossible or other people perceived as impossible and they went and did these things. That's so rewarding and it feels so good. And I recommend every person to go at least make like 30 grand a month. Every one of you watching this video, go try to make 30 grand a month. Go make 30 grand a month and then decide if you want to make money or if you want to just like, if you're making 30 grand a month, you can go like disappear to Montana or Bali or someplace in the middle of nowhere and just go live your best life there with that money. Or you can decide you want to try to keep reaching greater heights and try to become a greater version of yourself. Everyone watching this, like, go get rich, like just go make at least like 30 grand a month. And then once you're there, you'll realize it's not all cracked out to what it's supposed to be, but it's just nice. You're like, oh, I want to go here. I want to, I want to leave this place, I want to go to other destination. You can like literally like time travel. You just like, okay, let's go get on an airplane, let's just go to this other place. And then now you're meeting different cultures, different people, like different music's playing. You'll meet like, you'll have different experiences and everyone's speaking a different language and you can just do that at the whim of any, any moment that you want. And so with that, you're also able to like, oh, I want to go to dinner here at said cool place or I want to go do whatever it is. Like you have the options to do things. And that's what it's all about is unlocking that freedom, unlocking those options, at least getting to that point. And then you can decide if you want to go make more money or if you just want to stay where you're at, then it's up to you. So this is what getting rich AF actually feels like. Hopefully this is able to help you guys out a little bit. I'm still not making like $10 million a month yet. So I can't really articulate what that's like. I know it's probably going to be a little bit of a different perspective that I have, but this is kind of good to document what it's like making 100, $300,000 a month and what I can share with you guys. So at least those of you that want to get to 100, $300,000 a month, or at least get to 10, $30,000 a month, I'm able to. To provide value to that group of people. So see you guys all in the next one. Peace.
