You're Closer than You Think - 3 Feet from Gold

A speaker shares why most people quit right before success, using the story of miners who stopped digging just feet from gold. The message: persistence in business means showing up even when progress feels invisible.
Have you ever heard of that analogy of striking three feet from gold? And the analogy simply states as one miner is going through a mine and mining, and they go until they get tired, and they lean into the. The voice inside of their head saying, we're never going to strike you rich. And they end up stopping where they mined. And then another miner goes into the same shaft, and after mining for simply three feet, they found all of the gold inside of the mine. And this analogy is a very typical situation from majority of people looking to make money online. And it's finding kind of where is that? You know, most people, they give up too soon, and they get to. They put in this work and they mine, mine, mine, and then they get to a certain point where they're just like, oh, this is never gonna work out. You know, it's just like, it's not meant for me or whatever. And a lot of people still stop right before that kind of last little stroke or that last little bit before they are able to strike gold or get rich or finally, you know, have their big break in life. And so the main thing I would say is, like, a lot of you guys watching this is, you know, you might be the miner in the mine right now, and you might be running into a situation where you're like, should I keep going? Is this worth my time? Like, am I going to, you know, I guess, is this ever going to pay off? And what I will say is from somebody that stuck with it and didn't leave, just didn't listen to the voice inside of my head telling me that, you know, not just my own voice inside of my head, but everybody around me telling me that I should stop. And I kept going regardless. And I didn't give in. And I didn't, you know, when my dad asked me, is this all worth it, I didn't, you know, just give up right then and there. I had hope and I had inspiration, and I just kept showing up. And from somebody that went through and constantly kept showing up, let me tell you that it is all worth it. It is worth it to. To keep showing up. It is worth it to, you know, for the. For the payoff that eventually is inevitable. If you keep showing up in this day and age, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is very worth it. And, you know, everything that comes from the fruits of your. Of your labor is worth it. And what I will say is it definitely for me, it took a lot longer than I thought it was going to take. Take. I. When I got into making money online and to try to build a business online. I kept seeing a lot of these gurus out there, you know, saying how easy it was to make money and that it was just like the easiest thing since life spread. And they just, they deemed it very simple in order to get, you know, these results. And I found that kind of like, far from the truth, to be honest. When I was kind of going through and chasing after everything, it took me a very long time to kind of figure things out. And what I came to find and is a lot of those people that had those like, successes that kind of just seemingly, seemingly were having those people that seemingly had quick success. As a matter of fact, they actually ended up having like, you know, parents that were into business and, you know, that were like, helping them alongside with this or, you know, like, maybe their parents were already successful in business and, you know, they already had a lot of mindset, like a lot of healthy mindsets around money and making money. Or some people, they tried a few businesses those failed, and then they took those lessons over from those other businesses and they brought it into this new thing and they very quickly had success with it because they had this other experience. And so what I will say is, no, none of this stuff that you see online is necessarily a scam. Maybe there might be some stuff out there. I will say, you know, me and the other people that have on that are on the other side of success, we can very blatantly see, like, why people like what is a scam and like what is legitimate. And it's. It's very black and white and it's obvious it might be a little bit hard when you're getting started kind of being able to differentiate what's fake from real real. But what I will say is if you stick with it, if you, you know, try out a few different things, maybe not just stick with one thing, but if you try out a few different things, one of them will be legitimate and there will be a way for you to actually, actually have success. And what I will say is typically the things that are the hard route are typically the things that have the most potential inside of it. Anything that's kind of very just like flash in a pan type of success. Those. Those types of things are, you know, something that is a flash in the pan and either a. That tactic isn't very sustainable. And, you know, it may work for a few people and it may be hard for other people for it to work, or on the flip side of it, you know, it Might be fast success, but then it's very difficult to replicate that success over and over again over the years. So, you know, typically the things that are the hard work, you know, like actually really, you know, setting up a business and, you know, like building a team and like hiring good people and solid talent and finding something with emotes around your business, as in like something that's hard for other people to compete and that's kind of original. You know, that sounds like a lot of work. But those things are the things that typically have a lot, a lot easier for success for me. You know, I've been going at this for seven years. I've been doing business for a good amount of time now. It's kind of crazy to reflect that it's been seven years. Feels like it's gone really fast. But there's a lot of time that I've put into things. And so for me, to be making $300,000 in a month is kind of inevitable. I feel like at this point, you know, it's like I would almost be surprised if I wasn't at this stage that I'm at and you know, in the next, let's say, few years or so, if I'm not at a million dollars a month, it would be very surprising to me because it just simply the mirror, like the sheer amount of time that I've put into this, the amount of, like, me and reinvesting myself into all this and just constantly showing up, regardless of like, you know, what may be going on. And, you know, there might be some times when, you know, I'm having some successful months and then there's other times where it's like, you know, it's like all hell's breaking loose and I have to figure out some sort of way to, to make things work with, you know, the situations that are going on. And so for you, you know, whether you're just getting started, like just brand new beginner, like first learning how to make money online or typically a lot of people that watch my content or follow me are people that have, you know, maybe had, you know, been doing this for a little bit of time or have already had maybe a couple of their first breaks and then big. Their first big break. And then now they're kind of really trying to. Trying to extend things and trying to really grow, you know, is just constantly showing up, Just keep showing up. That's kind of the mess. The memo for me inside of this video, it's just that I wanted to make clear for you guys, it's just keep showing up. You know, there might be some parts where they're kind of scary or like it kind of seems like there's no light at the end of the tunnel. But what will eventually happen over time is there, like there will become clarity. You know, you will start to kind of see the, the byproduct of what you're putting into. And you know, a lot of these older entrepreneurs that you look at, people that are having super massive success, a lot of them, it took like 10 years of just absolutely nothing before they saw any sort of reasonable amount of success. Like I was listening to this podcast of Andrew Friscilla and Ed Milette and this guy named Andrew Friscilla, he's founded first form, which is like a, like a supplement company. And for him I think it was for 10 years he was making like $600 a month or something like that. 10 years he made, it was less than 60 grand. It was like something ridiculous. And if that was something in like a modern day story like where, you know, if that happened like in 2000s, like where people are taking 10 years, that would be ridiculous. It wouldn't even make sense. You know, there's so much like out there on the Internet, if, if you're doing things long enough, you'll, you'll make connections, you'll meet other people that are doing stuff and you'll get different shortcuts to accelerate the process. You know, so it's not like we're in that type of time period anymore, but now, you know, today it's just like if it takes like three to five years to have success, you know, that's, that's pretty typical. Like that's pretty typical. And that's not that crazy. And you know, it's not that crazy to work for three to five years and then start to have some pretty decent success. You know, for me it took about, was it now like six years for me to have my first million dollar year or so and you know, it's like, it's pretty inevitable. And like it wasn't like I didn't make any money before that. I think my first year I made like 60 grand. My second year I made like $200,000. The next year like 300,000. Then I was kind of stuck between 3 and 500,000 for a bit. And then shortly after I kind of was able to accelerate things pretty quickly. And so, you know, that's pretty typical. Like, you know, you may not, it may take let's say a year or two to kind of get to your first five, $10,000 a month. But it is pretty that if you just keep showing up, you will get there. And especially if you have other experience, like maybe you had some managerial experience from a 9 to 5 or you know, whatever it may be, if you just keep showing up, you will see the success, you will see the fruits of your labor. Don't be the person that's inside of the mine mining away until they're three feet away from gold and giving up. Just take one more rep. Just show up one more time, you know, give it your all while you're doing it. Don't just, you know, be half assed. You know, the universe doesn't reward people that are half assed. The. The universe or God. You know, I'm more of like a God believer, which is, you know, God is going to support the people that are all in. When you all. When you're all in. And when you decide which. The word of decide means to cut off. Like. To decide means like side, which is Latin for to cut off. And when you're deciding on going all in, on, you know, becoming this person, it is removing all these other, like all these other alternatives from your life. And it is inevitable that you will become this person or to have, you know, this relationship or to have this success or this business or to become this person. And so, you know, to, to, to when you decide to go all in, you will reach the fulfillment, you will reach the joy, you will reach this, this version of yourself that is, you know, this optimal version of yourself that, you know, you can be the, the person that's able to, to, to get the girl or to drive a supercar, you know, to be the person that's not just one extreme situation in life away from losing all of your life savings. But instead of being somebody that's in a place of true freedom and abundance and. And just being able to decide on being able to have whatever life that you want. And that all just comes from just keep showing up. Just keep putting in that extra rep. Just keep doing that extra little bit more and, and don't just give in to the easiness of just wanting to quit and just wanting to give up. So that's what I got. Drop a. Like on this video. See you guys in the next one.
