In this promotional excerpt, the speaker announces Professor Brian Cox’s upcoming live show in Bucharest on 22 September 2026 at the Sala Palatului. The program is presented as a journey through key moments and ideas in modern science: it opens with Johannes Kepler’s contemplation of a snowflake’s symmetry, then expands to the size and scale of the universe, the emergence and prevalence of life, Voyager’s legacy, multiverse theories, the Higgs particle, black holes, and quantum mechanics. Music and live Earth‑from‑space imagery supplied by the company Sen are woven throughout to illustrate the narrative. The closing theme stresses the value of scientific knowledge for building a safer, more prosperous future, positioning the show as both an educational spectacle and a call to embrace curiosity.

And it's very important to know that you are coming 22 September, you're coming to Bucharest. Yeah. So people in Bucharest can see you in Bucharest and your emergence show. What can we see there? Oh, so it starts with the story of Kepler and his snowflake. This wonderful moment, one of the beginnings of modern science when Kepler thinks about the symmetry of a snowflake. And then it goes on to talk about what we've learned about the size and scale of the universe, but also these questions we've been talking about, about life in the universe, the emergence of life. How common is life in the universe? There's a lot of music in there. And so it tells the story of Voyager, talks about life in the universe, talks about multiverses, talks about the origin, the laws of nature, all sorts of sort of ideas. The Higgs particle, we talk about that as well. And then the end is about some of the themes we've talked about, about what science can teach us and how we've learned these things and how we can use that to have a safe and more prosperous future. So you'll see, as well as the science and the cosmology, there's a bit of black holes, multiverses, quantum mechanics, all that stuff. There's also this thread of the things we've talked about, about the importance of acquiring knowledge about the world, the importance of not knowing. We have live images from space with a company that I've been working with called Sen. So we have live images of the Earth from space, all sorts of things.
