Tu citești etichetele alimentelor pe care le mănânci zilnic? Câte dintre ele sunt ultraprocesate?

In this Romanian monologue, Mihail Pautov urges viewers to scrutinize the ingredient lists of everyday dairy products such as cheese, processed cheese, fruit‑yogurt and liquid cream. He explains that if a product contains more than five ingredients or ingredients that are hard to pronounce, it is likely an ultra‑processed food classified as NOVA 4. He advises people to triage their diet by marking these items, limiting their consumption to no more than about 20 % on any given day, and aiming for a diet composed entirely of minimally processed (NOVA 1) or processed (NOVA 2) foods. Pautov also criticises the state for not mandating clear labeling of ultra‑processed foods, calling for regulatory action while encouraging personal responsibility in food choices.
