This is a YouTube video titled "A-players don't need micromanaging. #restaurantowner #restaurantcoach #teamculture" containing a discussion between two speakers about managing staff efficiently in a restaurant setting, focusing on reducing team size while increasing profitability and operational smoothness. The conversation took place in July 2025.
I didn't know a players. Like, I didn't know you can tell them to do something and then walk away. Pay me a little bit more money. And they work for two people.
Look at you, like now. I mean, you had 19 members, now you got 10. You got half the staff.
Yeah.
You do just the same amount of sales and you're like five times more profitable than you were before.
Oh, yeah, yeah. Also, the process, like cutting down, you really focus in on just little things like minor details, and then those added up will just cut costs and cut labor, and you're just running a super smooth operation.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
