So let's get real for a minute. Are you happy? I know. Seriously, are you really happy? I'm not talking about that fake ass smile that you put on for your staff or the lies that you tell yourself when you look at the mirror in the morning. I mean, deep down, when it's quiet, when it's just you and your thoughts, are you happy with your life? Are you happy with your business? Are you happy with who you've become? Because if we're being honest, most of you aren't. You're stressed, you're overworked, and you're burned. You've given everything to your restaurant, and what has it given you back? Long nights, missed holidays. A gut full of stress that slowly is killing you. You see, happiness isn't just about feeling good. It's about living a life that you're proud of. It's about waking up every day knowing that you're not just surviving, actually thriving. But come on, let's face it. You're not. You're running on fumes, convincing yourself that you know one more month, one more season will magically fix everything. But deep down, you know it won't. How long are you going to keep this charade up? How long are you going to keep sacrificing your happiness for a restaurant that is slowly, slowly draining the life out of you? I mean, come on, I get it. Your restaurant is important. But let me ask you something. When was the last time that you were important? When was the last time that you put your own happiness on the table? And please, please do not give me that about how sacrifice is part of the game. That's such a cop out. Sacrificing your life for your restaurant, that's not noble, it's just stupid. You think being miserable is the price of success? If you do, you're dead wrong. You were not put on this earth to grind yourself into the ground. You were not meant to be a slave to your own restaurant. But somewhere, somewhere along the line, you bought into this lie. That this is as good as it gets. That happiness is just a dream for someone else. Well, I'm here to tell you today that's a load of crap. You can be successful without destroying yourself. You can run a profitable restaurant and still have life. But it's not going to happen until you wake up and decide that you matter just as much as your damn restaurant. I can tell you happiness isn't some far off dream. It's a choice. It's a decision. And here's the thing. It's about time that you made it. Because let me tell you this. If you keep doing what you're doing right now, running yourself into the ground, one day you are going to wake up and you're going to realize that all you've got left is regret. And by then, it's gonna be way too late. So I'm asking you, are you happy? I mean, really, really happy? If the answer is anything less than a yes, it's time to make a change. It's time to stop settling. It's time. Start living. Because if you're not living a life that you love, then what the hell are you doing? It's time to wake the up.
