This is a YouTube video titled "Cameras. Signs. Still No Accountability. #TrustIssues #LeadershipOverRules #RestaurantTruths" containing an English conversation recorded in August 2025. The dialogue features multiple speakers including Donald Burns discussing the ineffectiveness of signs and security cameras in restaurants due to familiarity and lack of accountability.
Growing up in the restaurant with my dad, he had signs everywhere.
He was everywhere.
Close the freezer door. Close this door. Make sure this is, like, everywhere. There are signs everywhere. It's, like, crazy.
And then what happens? Law of familiarity kicks in. And then after a while, that sign doesn't even. People don't even know.
Who cares about the signs?
Like when people install security cameras in their restaurants. And then two months later, everyone forgets their security cameras. They do stupid.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
