A short motivational YouTube clip by Donald Burns about leadership in restaurants. Burns emphasizes that leadership is demonstrated through integrity and action — doing exactly what you say you will do — and urges listeners to become their best selves ("become a badass") to truly lead by example.
Leadership is more poetry, emotion. It's integrity. It's all action. Everyone can be a leader in your restaurant because leadership is, at its core, it's about doing exactly what you say you're gonna do. No exceptions, no excuses. Very few people actually ever achieve it. Let's explore what it takes to become a true leader. If it's really what you desire, be the best version of you that you can be. That means becoming a badass.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
