This transcript is from a YouTube video by Donald Burns (the restaurant coach) presenting the "sales pyramid": a six-level, bottom-up marketing model—Attention, Interest, Desire, Action, Repeat, Word of Mouth—designed to help restaurants double sales and increase profits. The video explains practical tactics for each level (brand/tagline and social media for Attention; engaging content for Interest; mouth-watering visuals and menu copy for Desire; offers and events for Action; loyalty programs and CRM/AI for Repeat; referral and user-generated content for Word of Mouth), and claims these combined optimizations can significantly boost sales within about 90 days.

Attention, restaurant owners and entrepreneurs that want to double sales and skyrocket their profits. Stick around because I'm going to share with you a sales model that I teach my elite private coaching clients. Hey, Donald Burns, the restaurant coach. I'm going to show you how to double your sales and skyrocket your profits using a systematic approach known as the sales pyramid. Hey, real quick. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe for more valuable tips and insights on how your restaurant can make more while you work less in your business. So if you're ready to elevate your restaurant game, let's do this. The sales pyramid consists of six crucial elements that work together to generate sales. For a visual, I want you to picture a pyramid with six different levels. And we build this from the bottom up. Now here's the thing I want you to remember. If you skip a level or don't have a level, really, really well done, it all comes crashing down on top of you. So the six levels are number one, Attention. Two, interest. Three, desire. Four, action. Five, Repeat. And six, word of mouth. If you want to see significant growth in your sales, you need to improve each one of these elements. So let's break them down, starting with attention. Now, attention is all about standing out with a compet telling story. Getting your guest attention is critical. One powerful way to do this is by creating a unique brand identity that tells your story and your why. Remember, people don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it. Write this down. The why drives everything. This is going to help you stand out from the competition and make people more likely to choose your restaurant. Because if you don't stand out, you just blend in and, and that is a recipe for failure. I recommend really developing an engaging tagline or a one liner that kind of sums up your restaurant's essence. A great tagline is catchy, memorable, and it sparks a little bit of curiosity. See if you remember this one. Better ingredients, better pizza. Papa John's. You want to make sure your tagline represents your brand's personality and really sets you apart from others in the market. Now, once you've nailed your tagline, you you want to showcase it on all your marketing materials including social media profiles, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. A consistent and captivating tagline will help you increase your following and ultimately drive more traffic to your restaurant. For a great example, the tagline for the restaurant coach is build your brand, strengthen your team, increase your profits, tell them what your brand promises and then deliver on that promise and your sales will skyrocket. Trust me, it works. Level two of our pyramid is interest. Keep them hooked with engaging content. Now you've captured their attention, you need to keep your audience interested. Sharing engaging content that resonates with your target audience is critical. Please stop posting boring. Showcase your restaurant's unique offerings. Do some maybe behind the scenes stories. Make videos of your culture and your team doing what they do and enjoying it. Anything that highlights your brand's distinctiveness. Take me on trips to the farmer's market. Take me on that team rafting trip. Show who you are and not just what you do. Level three of our pyramid is desire. You have to cultivate cravings. Create a strong desire for your dishes by sharing mouth watering visuals. Videos are hands down the best option for this. You want to use in your menus. Use tantalizing descriptions and really highlight your unique selling points. Now when I say unique selling points, you have to be truly unique and not just the same damn burrito wrapped with a different wrapper. Dig down deep to why I should choose your restaurant over the 100 other restaurants that are available as my option. You have to make your guests crave your offerings, crave your food, crave your atmosphere, crave your culture. And they want to then eagerly anticipate their visit to your restaurant. Level four of our pyramid is action. You got to convert those interest into sales. Now that you build a strong desire, it's time to convert that interest into cash. Offer irresistible deals like fixed price menus, LTOs, limited time offers, special events like wine dinners, cocktail classes or even hands on cooking classes that encourage the guests to visit your restaurant and make a purchase. Level 5 of our pyramid is repeat. You gotta keep them coming back for more. See, once your guests have tried your delicious food, your goal is to turn them into raving fans. Loyal guests implement loyalty programs, offer personalized experience and you can use AI to make personal recommendations based on buying data. And then you really want to maintain constant communication through email and SMS to encourage them to return and become raving fans. Remember, marketing is all about top of mind. And then the final level of our pyramid is level six. It's word of mouth turning guests into brand ambassadors. Happy guests are your best promoters. Encourage them to share their positive experiences with family friends both online and offline. Create shareable content, run referral programs and incentivize them to spread the word about your restaurant. User generated content is worth its weight in gold. Don't be shy about asking. I mean come on, you've been told no before and you're still alive. So now that's a quick rundown of the sales pyramid. You have to have all the levels working together, built on top of each other, or the system doesn't work. If you ever get stuck at a level, just ask yourself, do I have? I really dug deep into the reasons behind buying, which the reason behind all buying is emotions. Remember, people buy for emotional reasons and they justify it with logic. By optimizing each element of the sales pyramid, you can effectively double your sales and boost your profits in just like 90 days. Implement these strategies today and watch your restaurant really take off. In my next video, I'm going to share six sizzling tips about YouTube marketing for restaurants.
