Short monologue by Donald Burns describing his morning reading routine: he begins with faith-based reading (currently C.S. Lewis), often pausing to look up difficult words or references, then after exercising shifts to business-related material (leadership, financials, industry). The clip emphasizes faith-first orientation followed by practical/business study.

So when you read in the morning, what do you like to read? Right now I'm reading some CS Lewis. Yeah, I'm reading his kind of core books on your Christianity. I just finished that. He's definitely gives you something to think about. It's a little more pretty advanced stuff. Half the time I have to kind of stop reading and look up kind of the stuff of what he's talking about. Pretty advanced. I love the reading. It makes me kind of like pause and just makes me like question like what the hell is that? Right. I gotta go pull out several other books. Sometimes what he's talking about look up half the words he uses. But no, it's like I gotta Google the word, make sure I understand what the word is. That's one of those. Yeah, you read like half a paragraph. You gotta put the book down. Just thinking to take in what he just said. Exactly. But in the morning, I initially start trying to read something that's faith based and dive into that to start my day. And then usually after I work out, I switch into reading more stuff that's business related, whether it's one of your books or. Daniel Leadership, Financials Industry. That's pretty wide open.
