Well, good morning, Sunday here in the usa. How are you doing? How are you holding up? Please make some comments in the box. Today I want to jump on because I want to talk about mindset and how important mindset really is to not only your health, but also to the health of your restaurant. See, your mind is really. Mindset is everything. Your mind can literally make a hell of heaven and a heaven of hell. It depends on what you focus on. What you focus on, you tend to attract, and what you attract tends to grow. So. So if you're focused on the negative, you're going to get a lot more negative in your life. If you're focused on the positive, actually your brain and your kind of reticular, activating system, part of your brain that's wired will seek out the good things. So right now, what can we do to really kind of dial in our mindset number one? Here's what I want you to do. I want you to know that this too shall pass. Now, granted, this is something we've never seen in, in our lifetime, but we have been through quite a few economic recessions, downturns, markets crashing, things like that. And just like everything, there's always a winter. And then right after winter comes spring. And that's a time of renewal and regrowth. So what I want you to do is just really kind of focus in that what you focus on right now is really going to spin you one way or the other. So you have to focus on the positive. You can be afraid, and that's okay, but what I want you not to do is I don't want you to succumb to fear and let it overwhelm you and paralyze you. The Chinese have a great word, crisis. And in the Chinese word crisis is actually two characters. It's actually danger and opportunity. Right now, there is a lot of danger out there, and. And you have to be safe, you have to take care of things, but you also have to be mindful that the other word in the word crisis in Chinese is also opportunity. There's a great opportunity out there. So your job as a leader, and you can write this down if you want. I always say the job of a leader, the duty of a leader is to provide hope for their team. And I'm going to give you a kind of a crazy example. I had a friend of mine call me a couple weeks ago when this whole thing just started unleashing and going crazy. And he called me and told me that he didn't know what to do because his Chef was on the floor in the kitchen, curled up in the corner and pretty much crying, and he didn't know what to do. I said, well, number one, get him off the floor. Number two, make him go home because he's setting a really bad example for the team. Leadership is not crumbling and just sinking down and saying, this is the end of world. Everything's falling down. We're all going to die. No leadership about stepping up and saying, all right, what is the opportunity here? What can we take from this? What can we do from this? What can we learn to make ourselves and make our restaurant better? That's what you really want to focus on right now. So the job of a leader is to basically, you got it. You have to give hope. You have to be confident that things are going to be solid because your actions as a leader. And you've heard me say, if you read any of my books, you know, I say this all the time. Culture flows down. It doesn't flow up. Culture starts with you. And if you're the leader, that culture all starts and, or, and originates with you. So you have to be that leader. You have to step up. You have to be strong. I'll give you a. Give you kind of a crazy example. This is. Oh, man, this is. This is years and years ago. I was probably 24. 24 years old. I'm old. It's a long time ago. Okay. And I was running a restaurant, small restaurant. It was my first day of the job, too. My very first day. I'm just getting settled in. It's like early in the morning, and this place did breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so pretty busy place, too. I just settled in my office. I'm just, you know, putting some of my books away, putting, you know, putting my tools away. Getting all kind of settled in the office, organizing it. You know how everyone does. You got to organize your office, get the kind of way you want it. And all of a sudden, this one of the kitchen guys comes running back. He's standing in the doorway in the office and he's like, out of breath. He's like. And I'm like, yes. What's going on? He's like, fire. Fire. It's like, okay. So he runs back to the kitchen. Everyone in the kitchen's running around. People in the dining room are running around, crazy. The team's screaming, yelling. I got. It's just like chaos and pandemonium. I walk in the kitchen, I look, Yep, sure enough, they have one of those old fashioned broilers, flames shooting out, probably three Feet from this broiler, huge grease fire, flames shooting out. Everyone's running around screaming. Just calmly walk over. I walk over to the fire extinguisher. I grab it, I walk over, look at the fire, take this fire extinguisher, put it out right away. All of a sudden, everyone, like, calms down because why? I wasn't crazy and I wasn't in panic mode. Screaming, yelling, you know, this is it. Everyone run for your life. No, just calmly. Just address the situation, took the appropriate action, took care of it, and then moved on. All right, here's what we got to do. We got to clean this and this and this up to the fire department when they come here. Let's look at everything like this. We didn't have to set up the ansel system, but we had to shut down the broiler to clean it. So it was great. I mean, but again, how you handle situations is how your team is going to respond or react. You've ever gone to the. You ever gone to the doctor and they say to you, you know, you're taking. Maybe you're taking a prescription and they give you some medication, and they say, you know, you're having a reaction to the medication, that's bad, the reaction's bad. But if the doctor says you're responding to the medication, that's good. So in any situation, you always have two options. You can either react or respond. What I want you to do is I want you to start thinking about how do I respond appropriately to the situation. Okay. Also maintain perspective on this. Yes, this thing is horrific, and it is wreaking havoc on the restaurant industry. But again, out of this will come some great opportunities. I'm sad to say a lot of restaurants will close. They will close permanently. But the ones that do make this through, through this situation will come out so much stronger than before because there's going to be, you know, less restaurants available, so you're going to be able to take back some market share that maybe you lost from a lot of competition coming into your market over the last couple years. This oversaturation of restaurants, as we've seen, you're also, if you haven't noticed, in the last couple years, hiring people has been huge. Trying to find, you know, people to work at your restaurant has been a number one struggle. Most restauran to deal with. That's going to shift very quickly. You're going to have a great opportunity now in the future to hire a talent. So I really want you to think about that. I want you to think about the opportunities you have coming forward. In fact, get a little piece of paper. You know, I love journaling. It's one of the things I love to do. I love to write notes. And you can know I have to do it on paper or a notebook. You can do it on your iPad or your phone. But start making some notes about things. You can start focusing on things you want to improve in your restaurant because I want you to start getting your mind right now. One of the things I'm really, really big on is getting a routine and self care. If you have not seen my book, outstanding mindset it is. I'm. We're going to give away some of these today anyway, by the way. So it's outstanding mindset. I said, I wrote this little. It's actually a small little booklet, pretty easy to read. You can actually read it in probably two hours. It's pretty, pretty fast read. But I wrote this because a lot of my clients were asking me, you know, you get so much done. How do you get so much done? You always seem like you're doing multiple projects. How do you manage it all? And they're just trying to run, you know, one restaurant and trying just to get through the day. So I wrote this booklet because it is kind of like my blueprint. I and how I set myself up for success. And then all my clients who sign up with me, they all have to implement this. I'm very, very big on this. If you're one of my clients, one of my coaching clients watching, you know, I'm big. I'm always asking, what's your big three? I'm asking you if you, you know, take some time for self care. So what do you do for self care? The biggest thing you want to do is you want to make sure that you are taking care of yourself. The hospitality industry is one where we give and give and give and give and give and give and give and give and give. But who gives you? Who takes care of you? You don't take care of yourself, how are you going to take care of others? It would kind of be like, you know, you have your iPhone, right? Have your iPhone and you go to work and you go to work with your, your phone charged 25%. And here's the thing, I tell you that you can't recharge your phone all day. How long would your phone make it? Probably not too long, but unfortunately that's how most restaurant leaders and managers go to work. Every day you go to work about 25% charged up. And when you're 25% charged up. What happens is you're gonna run out of gas really quick. And here's the things that happen when you run out of gas. When you run out of gas, you lose your patience very easily. You're also very reactionary. You snap at people. You might say things you don't mean to say, but you say them anyway. And what happens is that really forms a bad kind of view in the minds of your team and maybe also your guest. So taking care of yourself, recharging your battery is number one priority, especially in this downtime. What I want you to do, I want you to create new habits. You can probably see in the back corner there, your restaurant is a reflection of your habits. That's the honest to God truth. Every restaurant I've ever worked with, I can tell them right away if your restaurant is running smooth and you're making good profits, you have more good habits than bad habits. You can see where I'm going here. If your restaurant is struggling, your profits seem up and down. There's lots of drama on your team. You seem to have a lot of turnover and you have more bad habits than good habits. So how do you fix that? You got to change you and change your habits and that starts with you and your mindset. So number one, I want you to start taking some time for self care. So what does that mean? Take time to exercise. And I'm not saying you have to join a gym and right now most of the gyms are shut down anyway. But what I'm saying is you can do stuff at home, you can do calisthenics, remember back, I mean, it depends how old you are, I guess. But when I was a kid, you know, you had to do jumping jacks, push ups, all those kind of fun stuff. You have to. And someone just made a mention right here and I'll show it up. You have to be the change you want to see. You definitely do. You have to. And that means taking care of yourself. You can do push ups, sit ups at home, you can do jumping jacks. I mean if it's nice out, go for a walk. That's still social distancing. Just don't walk by people, you know, take a good stroll. I'm very fortunate that I've got a rebound trampoline in my house. And I've been doing out some workouts there, help get my heart rate up. And I'm also very lucky that right down the street from me, less than a quarter mile away is a really nice bike path. So I can get out. It's beautiful. Especially today. I'm going to go out and take a walk, get some air. It's going to be awesome. Get some little, little cardio in, a little jogging. I'm not much of a runner anymore. My running days are over from the military, but. But I. I do kind of jog proficiently. Jog, walk kind of proficiently. So. Taking care of yourselves, number one. And here's the thing. You need to start scheduling this stuff. I know right now a lot of people are sitting at home and we're kind of like just our normal routine has gone kind of to hell in a hand basket. But you got to get on a routine. You got to make this a habit. Even though there's like, you know, a lot of my business has morphed into more online stuff. I'm not going out and meeting with clients. I'm not going out opening restaurants right now. So I had to make a big shift. But the same thing here. The thing is, though, I always maintain the same routine. I get up at the same time. I get up, I do my rebounding, I do my meditation. I do my priming exercise. I set my intentions for the day. I see what my big three are and I jump on it and get to work. That's the biggest thing you can do. So that's what I want you to do. I want you to start setting up a routine in the morning. Set up a time and get your ass out of bed and do something. Do something positive. Okay? Nothing, nothing starts the day off better than a little bit of sweaty exercise. So get up and sweat. Sweat it out. I also want you to cultivate some positivity. And by positivity, right now, you got a little downtime. Most people do. Feed yourself good stuff. Lay off the Netflix a little bit and watch some educational stuff. There are tons, tons of great motivational educational videos out there. I know on Amazon prime there's tons of stuff out there. That's if you have an Amazon prime video subscription. You can get lots of stuff for free. There's also great books available out there. You can get them, you can order through Amazon or you can get a lot of these in Kindle version, too. I'm going to give you a couple of my favorites. Now. This book right here actually changed my whole life as far as leadership. The Dao of Personal Leadership by Diane Dreher. This really. I'm seriously. This changed my whole outlook. I was struggling as a young chef in my 20s on how do I become more of a leader. And this book really helped me understand a lot about Dao and how to basically kind of be more like water. You've ever heard Bruce Lee say be like water? What's the thing about water? Water, basically, you pour it in, you have five different types of glasses. Water forms and takes the shape of every glass. The other thing about water is if you try to compress water, push it down, you can't. I mean, water actually works as a solid then, but water's fluid right now. You have to be fluid. You have to adapt, you have to overcome. You have to challenge yourself to become better. So that's number one. And I'll put up. I'll put up these list listed in the links later. Dao of Personal Leadership by Andrew. Another one. This is a book I give to everyone I know. I think it's a fantastic book. It's a great read. The Subtle art of not giving a you know what by Mark Manson, New York Times bestseller. Another great book. And here's the funny thing about this book is it's not what you think. It's not about not giving a, you know, giving a crap about stuff. It's just that you only have so many things to give f about. So be very cautious and give them out kind of sparingly. So another great one. Oh, and for a lot of you restaurants that have kind of like been struggling financially, I always recommend this book. The Richest man in Babylon is a fantastic book. The message is very simple. Two men meet years later after school, and one guy is like the richest guy in town. And one guy is just basically struggling every day to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck. He doesn't understand. They both went to the same school. They had the same classes, same grades. Why is one guy super successful and one guy just getting by? The first guy, the guy who was actually the richest man in Babylon, he actually don't. He actually made sure that number one thing he did was pay himself. He took 10% of his money every time he got paid. And he put it aside, he didn't touch it. That's what you want to do when your restaurant reopens. You're going to have to look at your finances a whole different way. And one of the things I'm working on a project I'm working on right now, and I have a great, fantastic business partner, Darren. We are working on a new kind of software that's going to really help restaurants. It's called restaurant KPI mastery and measuring and managing your KPIs is huge. Now, a lot of people talk about KPIs, but they don't know how to. What to do. All right, so this is my number. What do I do? How do I fix it? How do I improve it? We're going to basically take people step by step, and we're going to help you kind of not only understand what your KPIs are, but how to improve them, too, and what you can do on a daily basis to improve them. But we're going to also recommend you read. If you get signed up with KPI Mastery, we're going to launch it here in probably about a week. We're going to probably recommend you read because we're also going to be more educational, too. Read this book, Richest Man Babylon. And also, I know we're going to have you read Think and Grow Rich, too. If you've never read Think and Grow Rich, do yourself a favor. This is a perfect time. A great book. Too easy. Read fast. I mean, you can read it in a couple hours. It's really a fantastic book. Think and Grow Rich. And again, one of my other favorite books, Lessons and Excellence from Charlie Trotter by Paul Clark. Now, getting a hard copy is difficult. They're not in print anymore, but you can still get it on. On Amazon, on Kindle. And I love this book. This book really changed how I looked at raising my standards when I had my restaurant. And it used to kind of become the joke for all my staff was like, you know, we used to make a joke like, what would Charlie Trotter do? You know, he wouldn't put up with that shit is what he would do. So. But that's an excellent book, too. And again, I'll list all these in the show notes afterwards. Most of them are available on Kindle. Some are available. You can get copies nowadays. But I want you to start doing that. I want you to start reading, educating yourself, improving yourself is the number one thing you can do right now. Especially this is a slow time. Also for your mindset, you need to prioritize, not be paralyzed. Prioritize and not be paralyzed. The biggest thing most people do is when something happens like this, and it's. It's kind of like the five stages of grief. At first, we're kind of in denial. It's not happening. I can't believe it's happening. And we kind of get a little angry about it. Then we get into some bargaining. Oh, if I can just do this, I can just keep these doors open. And then we get into Depression, and then we finally reach acceptance. So you're probably going through one of the five stages right now, most likely. Now, if you're at the depression phase, here's what I want you to do. Don't turn to the normal things that most people do in restaurants, which is alcohol and drugs. Don't. If you want to talk to someone, reach out to me. There's tons of mental health of, you know, resources out there. But here's the thing. It's not going to be. It's going to be bad, but it's not going to really be that bad. And that's kind of an oxymoron. But here's what I want you to do. I want you to stay, again, hopeful, stay positive, and if you are in that depression phase, again, reach out to me. I'm more than happy to talk to anybody, especially if you're going through some rough times right now, you know, because that goes to. You want to communicate, but don't spin. When we kind of get these bad thoughts in our head, the problem is that we tend to ruminate. And those thoughts, especially their negative thoughts, again, what you focus on, you feel. And if you tend to. You tend to focus on the negative, they just start spinning out of control. I'm just as guilty as everyone else. I. Sometimes my mind will play tricks on me and it will take a situation and I can build up the worst case scenario in my head about all the things are going to happen, all the bad things are going to happen, and I can really let it spin out of control. When that happens, I have to do one thing. And I have a little thing, a little trick I do for myself. I call it pause and process. When I find myself doing it, I just say those words, hey, Donald, just pause and process. Okay? And then I ask myself more empowering questions. Number one, what's really going on? Why are you feeling this way? And really, what's the truth? Okay, you text message a friend, you know, someone maybe you care about. They don't message back for an hour or two. You could easily start spinning. And sometimes people do. But again, ask yourself a more empowering question if you ever follow me. You know, I'm a huge Tony Robbins fan. One of his ones he always asks is, what else could this mean? And that's a great question to ask yourself. What else could this mean? Mean they don't care. No. Doesn't mean they don't care. Maybe they're in a meeting, maybe they're tied up, maybe they're busy, you know, Maybe they're traveling, maybe they're driving. You know, we always, we always preach, don't text and drive. But when we send a message to someone we want to automatic response right away, respond to me. I want, I want immediate closure on the question I asked you. But sometimes it's not a good idea. If they text you while they're driving, you'd be really upset. If they were texting you to reply because they know how anxious you get and they got in a really severe car wreck or accident and something happened to them, you'd be, you'd feel horrible. So communicate, but don't let it spin out of control. Control your thoughts or they will control you. That's the biggest thing. Also what I want you to do is meditate. Don't get crazy on me. I'm not trying to brainwash you. I want you to brainwash yourself. Meditation changed my life. Really did. And it really helped me find the calm. The restaurant industry is crazy. It's really crazy right now. So during this downtime, I want you to develop again. We talked about developing new habits. Your restaurant is a reflection of your habits as I as it says. I want you to take time right now to learn how to meditate. And there's some easy apps you can do. There's a couple on. And here's how I got started. Someone recommended to me years and years ago that I should meditate. And like everyone, I came up with all kinds of excuses why I couldn't, you know, I'm too busy. That was, that's the number. Morning. I'm too busy. I don't have time. If you don't have time to meditate, you need to meditate because it will help you find clarity and help you really remain calm in situations that you need to be calm in. So after couple years I finally decided, you know, I'm going to download one of those damn, you know, you see apps all the time. Calm Headspace. So I downloaded Calm and I liked it and I started doing it a little bit and you know, I wasn't consistent with it like a lot of people. And so. But then, you know, I made kind of a pact to make a better habit out of it. So I gave myself 60 days to try it. And actually calm is pretty cool because it'll give you a kind of a habit tracker and it'll let you know how many days you have as a streak. So then I got going on it and this thing really helped me because calm had that little built in thing. Headspace has it too. So if you like either one, the only difference is if who you like as the narrator. I mean, Calm has a couple of different people. And of course, Headspace has some different areas. They always give you a free trial. I say try them out, see which one you like the best, and then stick with it. But then I started out with Calm. I like the. I like the app. It was easy to use, and it had that little kind of, you know, streak tracker. And then the goal kind of became is like, once I got going, you know, I got seven days. Let's go 14, then I got 14, and then I got 20, then I got 30, then I got 40, then I got 50, then I got 60, then I got 90, and then it just became a daily habit to me. And I have done this ever since. And in fact, I kind of taken my meditation up to a different level. I find I had a friend who was basically in transcendental meditation, tm and recommended I try that out. So I went to a class, got, you know, got trained on how to do transcendental meditation, and now I do tm, but. And I still use the. The Calm app now and then if I'm traveling, especially if I need to just take some, you know, a little kind of breather or kind of refocus in the afternoon. Has great little easy meditations. They're 5, 10 minutes long. So if you don't have time, you got time. Just not a priority to you. But during this time, right now and then. Oh, Matthew says that he meditates while he runs. That's awesome. He's killing two birds with one stone. He's exercising and meditating. That's awesome, Matthew. But meditate. Get this habit. We want to start creating new habits. So two habits right away. Well, actually three habits. You should start right now to help build up your mindset. Number one, exercise. I don't care if it's 15 minutes. I don't care if you're just doing jumping jacks in your living room until you're out of breath. Exercise number two, meditate. Number three, feed your mind good stuff. By feeding your mind good stuff. I mean, read. Stay off the. Stay off the damn news for a while. You know, cut off some of those Netflix tunes, those Netflix stuff, and stop binging stupid stuff on TV and actually watch a movie that maybe has, you know, documentary or maybe something that's educational or. Or on YouTube. There's tons of motivational speakers. There's tons of stuff out there that you can actually tap into. I'm a Huge fan of Audible. I love audiobooks. I think, actually, I think I have right now I have like 680 audible books on my, in my library. Audible is a great resource. I love it so much. It's so much, you know, because I turn that downtime into learning time. My car, I love driving and you know, I don't drive much now because we're not really going out and about, but I use my phone as always an opportunity to learn something new. I pick an audiobook of a day or an audio thing and I, and I just make that my focus. And every time I have downtime between phone calls, if I'm not writing content, if I'm not on, you know, live like we are now, I'm basically tuned in to learning and expanding myself. I think Audible says I've listened to like almost two years of audiobooks. I've had a subscription for a while. That's a lot of self education. And there's a great quote by someone, I think it was Jim Rohn who said that formal education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune. And it's so true. We, we go to these schools, we take these classes and we get our degrees and we think that's it. We think we've basically hit the pot, hit the top and that's all. No, self education is huge. You need to train yourself to want to be a, a lifelong student. You want to crave knowledge, you want to crave to be better. And that's what I want you to do. I want you to get out there and I want you to start really dialing in. Turn some of that downtime you have into learning time. You really don't have any excuses. Audible subscriptions, pretty easy to get. I think if you have, I think if you have Amazon, you get a couple free books for, for just having an Amazon prime account too. So check it out. But Amazon.com is awesome. I love it. I listen to it all the time. I'm also a huge, I invest in myself, I buy training programs from other high level consultants. I'm always learning, I'm always trying to do things better. I'm always trying to improve stuff like my marketing, improve my writing, improve my content. You can always get better. And those who don't think they can get better, they're usually the ones who are going to stagnate and burn out. So remember, your number one job as a leader is to provide hope. Your other 1 job as a leader is to be the example. Remember, you're either A lesson or a warning. Right now is the perfect time for you to step up and be the leader by being a lesson and be the example of how people should basically conduct themselves. So coach your teammates now. If your restaurant is shut down, a lot of times we tend to withdraw. We put our head in the sand and just kind of waiting for this thing to blow over. Need to. Need to reach out to people. Need to communicate as much as you can to other people. Okay, Keep the communication going. Social distancing is a physical thing. Doesn't really mean distance yourself socially. Remember that. You want to amp up your communication with people, especially people on your team. They're concerned. They're scared too. If you're a leader, gotta give them hope. Hey, man, we're gonna work on some new things. We're gonna redo our menu. We're gonna amp up our social media. We're gonna be lean and mean, better and stronger and badass. When we get back to this, keep them fired up too, but keep yourself fired up. You always have to encourage strength. Okay? So outstanding mindset, fantastic little booklet. And I'm actually. I got a little kind of bonus thing here I'm going to throw in too. So one of the things, if my clients will tell you this all the time, one of my favorite words all the time is I don't think you can see it. The camera's not that good. But it says, what's next? What's next? What's next is my kind of go to word all the time. I say, if you want to brainwash your staff, you want to brainwash your team. These two words are the best way to brainwash people. And it actually works on yourself too, just by saying it all the time. What's next? What's next? What's next? It always keeps you in action. Always keeps you going. What's next? Whenever I'm working with a new restaurant and we're opening a new restaurant, I say it so much that they get tired of it. But I know I have them kind of conditioned or trained to a new habit when they start walking up to me and go, hey, what's next? And I'm like, yes. Got them. That's what I want you to do. I want you to start using that phrase all the time. What's next? What's next? What's next? What's next? What's next? So here's what I'm gonna do. First, I got five booklets here. First five people to direct message me. Huh? Direct message me. First five people have direct message me saying, I want to work on my mindset. You gotta say that I want to work on my mindset. First five people to message me and say, I want to work on my mindset. I will send you a signed copy of outstanding mindset booklet. And I'll also send you a couple of my what's next bracelets. If you're looking for some resources too. I have to kind of do a thing out there. I have a. I have a little webinar. I made it a couple weeks ago when this thing first went crazy. It's called the Coronavirus Action Plan for restaurants. I'll put the link in the show notes. It's an hour webinar. I've got tons of resources in there. A lot of my friends contributed. There's lots and lots of information, things that can help you kind of get through this. It's a free resource. You go to my. I'll give you the link and sign up. It's a great, great resource to get it also, too. I don't know if you know, but Bruce Irving from Smart Pizza Marketing, he is hosting the very first online pizza summit. It's gonna be Pizza Summit 2020. I think there's 26 speakers, 30 sessions. I'm doing three sessions. I'm doing one on profitable menu design. I'm also doing one on. What am I doing one on? I'm doing one on the higher Attitude, which is kind of like my hiring program because, you know, you want to amp up your hiring as we get ready to open. So I'm doing profitable menu design because that's a big one. You want to make sure your menu is really profitable and streamlined. Number two, you want to work on your hiring. Make sure you have a solid, solid, solid hiring system in place. And then three, I'm going to give you. And this is a new one, a new workshop I just came up with. I just developed. It's called the Nine Secrets to Thriving in a Post Coronavirus Economy. You have not noticed the economy will change and those that are ready for it will be prepared to take advantage of it and will actually really thrive. So three workshops, Profitable New Design, the Higher Attitude and Nine Secrets to Thriving in a Post Coronavirus Economy. And that's the pizza site. I'll put the link in there also too. There's a code. You put PizzaSummit DB and you can get the ticket for free because that's the kind of guy Bruce is. I want to say thanks, everyone. I'll put up all the links in the show notes for those books. Remember, first five people to message me, I want to improve my mindset. First five people that message me directly. I will send you an autographed copy of Outstanding Mindset and a couple what's Next bracelets for you. I love these little things, so tune in. All this week, I've got a ton of great experts showing up with me. All week long. We're gonna be doing this kind of C19, you know, C19 sessions all week long. Tomorrow I've got Craig Shelton, chef Craig Shelton, James Beard award winning chef. He's going to be joining me at 1pm mountain time. So you'll see a link for that pretty soon as I post that one. And then on Tuesday, I've got Kelly Jones from Kelly Jones Hospitality. He's going to stop by, he's going to share some of his leadership secrets and how he's dealing with, you know, he, he runs quite a few different concepts, how he's dealing with this. He's going to give you some insight on what you can do. And he's doing some great things with his community right now too. So I'm excited to talk to Kelly Jones on Tuesday. Wednesday, I've got Andrew Freeman from Andrew Freeman & Co. Out in San Francisco. Probably one of the hardest hit communities right now getting just crushed by the coronavirus is San Francisco. Andrew Freeman is going to jump on. He's going to give you some insight and input on how to kind of use PR and how to use communication to kind of weather the storm and what you should be doing to communicate with your guest and also your team and your community. And then on Friday, I have Juliet Gust from Ethics Suites. She's going to be talking about, you know, we're going to get through this thing. And so what she's going to talk about is how do you set yourself up to kind of minimize the possibility of lawsuits and also how to set your restaurant up for success for, you know, and what do you need to do now? Again, we're talking about creating new habits. What can we do now to set up our restaurant for success with discrimination, sexual harassment so we're not vulnerable to those things as the future unfolds, you want to make sure again and the times vary a little bit. But all week we're going to be, I'm going to be broadcasting live. We're bringing some guests on again. Your comments are always welcome. If you have any personal things you want to talk about, just head to my website. There's a button all over the website. There's multiple buttons says schedule a call, spend it. You know, I'm more than happy to donate an hour of my time to you if you got something you want to talk about, if you want to get a plan together for how you can get your restaurant ready for the rebound and the reopening that you're going to have going. You know, you just can't go into this thinking that what you've done now is going to set you up for success in the future. Einstein calls that insanity. That's definitely the definition. Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. You're gonna have to change your mindset first, and then you have to change your actions. If you want to not only get through this thing, but you want to come out on the other side stronger, better, and more badass. So everyone have a fantastic day. Please be safe out there. Make sure you're maintaining social distancing. Make sure to take care of you, drink plenty of water, exercise, start meditating, and also make sure to feed your mind with good stuff. And I'll see you tomorrow. Thank you.

If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
