This is a YouTube video titled "Here's why your team isn't working. #restaurantcoach #teamculture #trcmethod" featuring Donald Burns discussing how business problems are fundamentally people problems and explaining the impact of implementing the TRC method on team dynamics and operations within a restaurant context. The content is from July 15, 2025.
All business problems are people problems. And the TRC method and coaching works on the people problems. Yes. Now, when people implement the TRC method, what immediate changes tend to occur in the operations as far as, like, team dynamics? Right. When you're implementing, especially the core value stuff, you see who's on board, so you see who's giving pushback. This is something that, that you taught me as well. And so you have A, B and C players. Once you start getting A players inside your restaurant, everything changes. You can teach people things, you can start implementing things. People. Listen, you're not micromanaging.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
