Short excerpt from a YouTube video (Donald Burns, 2026-01-17) where two speakers—one named Ruth—reflect on Mark's leadership development after two years of TRC/TSM coaching. They report Mark is calmer, listens more, takes notes, channels his longstanding passion into methodical leadership (vs prior Amway-style approaches), and is characterized as a committed student/learner.
Ruth, how have you seen Mark change over the two years that we've been coaching in the TRC method? What is, like, you say, with, like, a couple of the most significant changes in how he has become, you know, a leader.
He's always been very passionate about what he does, but he hasn't had the method to bring that passion out and to share it with our team.
There you go.
So he's had a long history of, you know, doing, like, Amway, all those sorts of leading.
Yeah, yeah.
Leadership in the past. So he has an opportunity and he's got a history of learning and building, but he hasn't had that method to, okay, this is what I want and this is how I'm going to do it. So now he has those put together, you know, and it's really lovely. It's just delightful to see him.
You know, I've. I've seen him really grow over the last two years. Yeah, it just is. Number one, he's just calmer. Number two, yeah, he's definitely a lot more. He listens, you know, he's definitely has a lot more of a listening thing. He takes a lot of notes. He actually, he's become. I would say that Mark, to me, has always been a great example. He's like the ultimate professional because he's a student.
