Donald Burns discusses why unpredictability is an entrepreneurial advantage and why he's selective about who enters his inner circle. He treats his close network as pillars of support and gatekeeps access to his table.
Oh, I'm so lucky that I've built an incredible network of resources who are my pillars of strength, like including yourself and to my best friends and counselors in life. But I really think it's that because as Alex would say, I'm unpredictable. But that's not always a bad thing.
I think unpredictable is actually a good trait for an entrepreneur. Yeah.
You want.
To know what your next move is. You always want to keep your guess.
Yeah. You know, being unpredictable or, you know, just really like keeping, keeping the people around you on your toes. I think that's what I'm also like good at because I think I like I'm fueled on stimulators. And then I think I'm a stimulator to really everyone around me because I bring the energy. Right. And so I bring a lot. I know that I bring a lot to the table, but it's who can sit at my table.
