The excerpt is a single-speaker monologue from a leader addressing onboarding and culture for a restaurant/service team. The speaker stresses that leadership and clear standards drive culture, that onboarding in the first week or two determines who will thrive, and describes a structured Plow Academy onboarding (week-by-week modules, expectations, and small regular tasks) used to identify employees who want to learn and grow.

We know culture is very, very critical. What would you say? If I get to pick one thing, one key to culture, what would you say? This. I think it's leadership and I really believe it starts with leadership having a clear set of standards that win. And that's. I really believe it's that onboarding, when people onboard, you either onboard right or you're on board. Wrong. And if you on board right, because the first, the first week and a half, two weeks is if you get it right, then you got them. But if you don't get it right, they're not gonna. It's a battle forever. And you definitely. And so we, and we're getting better all the time because we're always improving, but now like how onboarding is just got better. And this is. And so for the service team, I need you to. This is your login for the Plow Academy. You need to do this, this, this and this. At the end of the first week, we'll have a talk about these modules you've done. Week two, you're going to move into this. Week three, you're going to move into this. And it's like they do it more. They don't. And if they don't, they. It shows. It shows. And there's. And I said, oh, I can tell straight away what you've done, what you haven't done. I can tell you straight away what the people that thrive in our business are, the ones that want to learn and grow, the ones that don't do the work. And we're not talking a lot of work, we're just talking, you know, just fine, 10 minutes here and there, you know what I mean? The ones that don't do the work, they don't last.
