This is a YouTube video titled "Stop Hiring Warm Bodies! #restaurantleadership #teamculture #hireforpurpose" created in July 2025. The content features a monologue or speech by a single speaker sharing personal experience about improving hiring practices in the restaurant industry, emphasizing building committed teams using the TRC method to reduce turnover and foster growth.
I've been there. I used to hire anyone with a pulse just to fill a spot, and I paid the price for it. People came and went like it was a part time hobby, and every time I thought I found someone solid, they disappear after a few shifts. It was chaos. And here's the thing, it was exhausting. The day I stopped hiring just to fill a void and started hiring people who actually cared about the mission, everything changed. I built a team that was in it for the long haul, not just for the paycheck. They grew with me, they fought with me, and we built something incredible together. Now, the TRC method has helped over 2,900 independent restaurants in 23 countries around the world build teams that stay, fight, and grow with them. So if you're ready to ditch the revolving door and build a team of warriors, click the link below. Let's get started.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
