Short YouTube clip by Donald Burns arguing that a coach who does not have their own coach is stagnant and therefore unfit to coach others. The speaker warns listeners to avoid coaches who do not invest in their own growth, calling such coaches fraudulent and suggesting clients will be held back by their coach's lack of development.
If someone offers to coach you and they don't have a coach themselves, and you need to run fast. Why? Because it means that they're not growing. It means that they're stagnant. And if they're stagnant, guess what? You're going to be stuck right there with them. A coach who doesn't have a coach is a fraud. And if they're not investing in their own growth, what are you going to do to help and how they're going to help you grow?
