What do you think is the number one trait that leaders in restaurants need today?
Probably overall self awareness. Like, if you're, if you're a leader, I mean, you already have kind of the skills that people come to you to follow, right? You're courageous. You're a decision maker. You know how to talk to people. If you do that, you wouldn't be a leader in the first place. So really evolving your skills and your talent to give people a reason to continue, I think, is a big thing. It shows what your impact value is in somebody's life. If you're working on yourself and you're making yourself better, I think it's a big thing that allows for you to really be authentic with your team and really diving into your emotional intelligence as it relates to, you know, what, what you're going to be able to work on with the staff and turn them into.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
