A short YouTube monologue by Donald Burns describing a spiritual awakening experienced through prayer and a renewed connection with God. He says God revealed a truer version of himself that does not fit others' expectations, that his previous "mask" hid him from himself, and urges listeners to remove their masks and embrace authenticity with a direct call-to-action.
The more I prayed, the more I realized that God has a plan, has a version of me that he wants me to show the world. Let me tell you, that version doesn't fit into the neat little box of how they want you to be. This is a spiritual awakening, this connection with God. It's. It's really what finally set me free. I realized that the mask I was wearing wasn't just hiding me from the world. It was hiding me from myself. It is time to take off the mask. Will you embrace who you are, or you keep playing the same game? Let's go. Let's do this. Reach out. Let's make some changes.
