This is a short transcript excerpt from a YouTube video where Donald Burns introduces his coaching framework, the TRC method, for restaurant leadership. The TRC method is explicitly described as built on three pillars: people, product, and process. The excerpt is conversational and appears to be part of an interview discussing how the TRC method differs from other restaurant programs.
Well, you know, the basic principles of my coaching program is called the TRC method. And the TRC method is based on what we call people product process.
How do you think.
That kind of that framework that I teach, the TRC method, is different from a lot of, like, other kind of restaurant, you know, programs and stuff like that?
I think it's so important and that you order it in that way and that. So just for the listener to this podcast, you know, Donald and I, I have a personal coaching call every week, and then. And then Donald coaches with my leadership team, and when we brought him into the restaurant to do a leadership weekend and all this stuff, what I love about it is you always start every session with the. You meet with my C suite, which is my coo, my chief information guy, my chief culinary guy. So the four of us, and you meet with the leadership team, which are all the managers and system managers from the restaurant, but you always start with people product process, always go through that every time, and you drill it in because that's so important.
