Short YouTube speech by Donald Burns urging immediate action on personal goals. He recounts a life-changing cardiac arrest on September 27, 2018, credits off-duty officers for saving him, and uses this to warn viewers not to delay pursuing their dream restaurant and life.
September 27, 2018.
Whatever your goals are, don't wait. Because the problem is you think you have time. Let me share a story with you. September 27, 2018 had cardiac arrest. If it wasn't for a couple really good, like off duty police officers that gave me CPR and brought me back, I wouldn't be here today. The problem I did with a lot of my stuff I had up until then with a lot of my goals while pushing my brand. I thought I had plenty of time. And then time was just up. I didn't get a warning. Make sure you get all your goals done. No, you don't know when your time is up. Do not wait to take action. You got to start making moves today to get the restaurant and the life that you truly, truly desire.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
