This is a YouTube video titled "Why Coaching Isn't a Quick Fix #RestaurantCoaching #LeadershipGrowth #TrustTheProcess" containing a conversation involving Donald Burns and another speaker discussing the realities and time commitment required for effective coaching in the restaurant industry. The discussion emphasizes that coaching is a process, not a quick fix, and outlines expectations for improvement timelines.
A hard truth is you need a coach and you need to listen to someone. And like I said, drop your guard, drop your ego. It's going to be work. But we're here to help you every single step of the way, and that's what we're here for.
Yeah. And you've heard me tell people this before, is that coaching is not a quick fix. It is a process. And you have to trust the process. And here's the thing about the process. A lot of people say, how long is it going to take? I usually give this as a rule of thumb. However long your restaurant's been running amok, running bad, it's going to take at least half that amount of time. Let's say your restaurant's been for a year. It's going to take us six months just to get you stabilized and on the. And just get you back to zero. And then it's going to take us another three months to get you going the right direction. So it's not a quick fix. A lot of people sign up for a coaching program, think automatically. Like, in 30 days, I'm going to be at 8% profit from losing my ass to. And then having a team that does exactly what I want, and I'm not working at my restaurant anymore in a month.
It doesn't happen like that.
So not a quick fix.
Yeah. This isn't just like, download this and then your restaurant's fixed.
