A short motivational monologue by Donald Burns urging listeners to stop lying to themselves and take personal accountability. The speaker warns that self-deception leads to inaction ("quicksand of your own inaction") and issues a forceful call to be honest and take action to achieve results.
You say you want to succeed, but every time things get tough, you backpedal. You start blaming external factors instead of facing the truth. You are the one holding yourself back. So let me hit you with a ninja front kick to the gut. The longer you keep lying to yourself, the deeper you're gonna sink into the quicksand of your own inaction. So what's it gonna be? It's time to stop lying to yourself, start getting real, and start getting results.
