A short YouTube monologue by Donald Burns arguing that coaching is the fastest path to progress because coaches reveal personal blind spots—unseen behaviors or patterns that secretly sabotage success and keep people stuck. The excerpt emphasizes that you cannot fix what you cannot see and positions the coach as a light that helps navigate and overcome those obstacles.
Coaching is, without a doubt, the fastest way to get there. Why? Because we all have blind spots. Those things that we're completely unaware of. And guess what? You can't fix what you can't see. They're the things that are secretly sabotaging your success. Those are the things that are holding you back, Things that are keeping you stuck in the same damn place. And that's where a coach comes in. They're going to shine a light on those blind spots, really help you navigate through them.
