This is a YouTube video titled "Your coach should invest in coaching, too. #restaurantcoach #restauranttips #investinyourself" featuring Sam Ovens discussing the importance of coaching and self-investment, emphasizing that coaches should also have coaches to improve themselves and better serve their clients. The content was created in July 2025.
I believe in coaching. That's another number one warning sign. If you ever have anybody hit you up to be a restaurant coach, if they don't have a coach, run. Because they don't believe in the power of coaching. Anybody who's not willing to invest in themselves to become better version of themselves is not a person you want to be. I spend easily $200,000 a year on coaching because it makes me better. Yeah. Because I know if I become a better person, a better coach, I can help my clients better, too.
If your restaurant only works because you work 80 hours a week, it doesn't work.
